Interscope Records' promotional department revealed on Twitter last week that the "Judas" video would debut on "American Idol," a rep for the singer says the clip was "never premiering on 'Idol.'"

E! news is premiering the uncut Judas video on May 5th at 7pm and 11:30pm
I guess American Idol tried to edit her video kind of like they did with her Alejandro performance last year Gaga wasn't going to be censored.

American Idol is a "family show" so I'm not surprised that they tried to cut it.

Yet Steven Tyler can't go five minute without dropping a f-bomb soooo I don't see how they're trying to shelter the kiddies. xD

I read that American Idol is still going to show the video, but it will be edited and all that. I'll be watching the uncensored one though biggrin

She really did a good job. I think people were expecting something mighty offensive but it really portrayed her love for Jesus. The "baptism" of her being swallowed by the water was beautiful. Loved it! Also, the apostle biker gang was hilarious. I loved the fusion of street wear/gang culture, historical clothing, and Christian symbolism. Wonderful! I love it and I'm not even a Christian. I can't wait to see the whole version.

Dammit they took it down twice .It was not offensive at all to me they will probably show this version on American Idol .I can't wait for the full version's story.
