My alarm clock woke me up today, and when I got up to shut it off, I found out that I couldn't.
For both my hands had fallen asleep and had gone completely numb.
I couldn't feel the button to shut off the alarm.
Heck, I couldn't feel anything.
The only reason I knew the clock itself was even in my hand, was because I could see it.
I've always known that I had bad circulation, but damn...

One time my alarm woke me up, and I found out I couldn't shut it off. My alarm has a small battery that will make sure the time is correct when the power comes back on, but apparently, when the power goes off exactly when my alarm starts sounding, it can't be shut off because technically it isn't turned on.

*Points* I've had that happen...except it was because I was sleeping on one arm funny and I think my cat or something was sleeping on the other one so when i woke up my hands were numb took forever to get them back and then they tingled.
One time my alarm went off and I hit the snooze button, but that didn't work so then I accidentally flipped the time set switch instead of the off switch so the hours and minutes got messed up while the alarm still went off. I flipped that off and found the right switch and flipped it off but it was still going off. I unplugged it and it was still going off. I chucked it out my window and the sucker was still going off. I grabbed my solid wood softball bat and went outside and downstairs and beat the thing to a pulp and it was still going off it was this little kind of pill looking thing with four small metal wires two at either end that was making the sound. That's when I stood up looked up and said, "Wake up dumb a** you're still asleep!" And I woke up and turned off my alarm clock. *nods*

Miller: LOL, that's more funny then freaky ^.^
MR: LOL, a act put your second hand to sleep ^.^ (reminds me of a comic strip where someone drew themself ABOUT to draw a comic, but then their cat jumped into there lap, next panel, they were asleep too)
My hands only took 10-20secs to wake up. Granted I was shaking and rubbing them. (and trying to breath deeply)
LOL - don't think I've ever had a dream like that. Wierd ^.^
Purple: But my pillow doesn't keep my head high enough to be comfortable enough to fall asleep !!!

*smiles proudly and bows* Why thank you Purple! Best part? It's a true story. *nods* I totally did that one time. *nods*
*chuckles* That's pretty funny Dude. I think I've seen a few comics like that or something similar to it. Well at least they weren't asleep that long. *chuckles* Yeah, I have. lol
Purple: But...but two pillows are to much. *nods* Except in my case as one of my pillows is so old and flat you might as well have nothing the other one is working on going flat so it's just right now. *grins*

Purple: I only have 2. And both together, are TOO high ... ^^;
MR: Yes... tis just too much V_V
Purple: perhaps I could tie them together with a string, but then the string would bother me ^^;

*giggles* I know right...but sadly... they have yet to figure out how to bring a game character into the real world and make 'em love me. Stupid scientist sitting on their butts. *chuckles*
However, I've found he is a great deterrent for telemarketers. I got a phone call ones it was this place that is like a giant fair or Disney world type place or something like that Branson. Yeah well they called trying to get me to come over there and stay and all that jazz. I said, "Is there a guy named Vincent Valentine with raven black hair and red eyes holding a dozen red roses waiting for me there?" There was silence for a swear 10 or 20 minutes, I think she went and checked or something eventually she "comes back" and says, "Um...no." then I said, "Well then I'm not interested. Goodbye." I hug up with her and I didn't hear from them for like a year or close enough too it not over. Great deterrent man!

Miller: Is that like being "Too Ethical" ??
Purple: On a good night, I can get the blanket bundled JUST right...
MR: Wouldn't you rather sleep on the real one >.> hehehe, LOL (THAT HILARIOUS, great story)
It might be possible. But you'd have to master the use of holographic technology, and combine it with electro-magnetic subatomic particle manipulation, and sythesized radio-to-brain-wave emiters. (I love coming up with this stuff... LOL)
