Xarzith had been left behind in the abandoned building to rest. Xunner had informed him that he was going to go out and see about tending to his magical needs. Spell components in short. After all, a 'fire elementalist' like him needed magical components right? Xunner however had not gone to barter for spell components. He didn't -need- those. Instead he had gone down a block from where he left Xar and found himself a alleyway. Once he was sure he was alone, Xunner lifted the silver charm he wore about his wrist and summoned the creature bound within.
A baneful red light flickered from the charm, and from the light a small ugly grey imp appeared. It stretched it's wings and gave a low whine.
"I HATE being stuck in there!" He hissed and looked up at Xunner. "Why do you keep me in there all the time? I'm more useful if I'm allowed out!"
Xunner snapped his foot out to give the imp a sift kick in the side. "Silence you little pest. Your hardly useful at all. I'm only letting you out now because I need you to find something for me." He snarled. The imp cringed after the kick and wrapped it's arms around it's body..
"Forgive me master...what is it you wish of your servant?" The imp spoke, though the tone of his voice clearly betrayed the lie of his words. Xunner gave a small snort. He didn't give a damn. The imp was bound to him and would obey him regardless of his feelings.
"I need you to go and find me a suitably weak creature to play with." Xunner replied. His hand lifted to brush his black hair from over the scarred side of his face. Now that Xar was not present he didn't need to pretend that he was ashamed of the wound. "I'm feeling agitated and I need some release."
The imp lifted it's head a little, a dark and amused expression twisting it's features into a even more ugly expression. "Sure. Release. You mean the blood kind yes master? Do you want it to be able to last a little while?"
Xunner merely replied by aiming another angry kick at the creatures side. With the kick connecting, Xunner sent the creature rolling across the ground and against the buildings side. "You know what I need. Something strong enough to satisfy me but not so much so where it will escape before I am done. Get me a young goblin or something. Now go. I don't have much time." Xunner pointed down the ally, then glanced over his shoulder.
The imp picked itself up and growled softly. "You already have a good plaything. Young and soft and weak..." It stopped as Xunner snarled and looked back at it.
"Oh? Are you volunteering then to satisfy my darker needs?" He snapped. The imp immediately cowered and covered it's head with it's arms.
"No no Master!" It quickly jabbered at Xunner. "I just mean..the blue eyed one..." The imp peered upwards to see to it's amusement a slightly conflicted light flickering in Xunners remaining eye.
Xunner shook his head and made a waving motion with his hand. "Xarzith is not weak enough. He'd put up too much of a fight and more then likely he would escape."
The imp gave a small snort. and glared up at Xunner. "Well if you'd stop playing with him and finally claim him..." Again, the look on Xunners face made him stop before he said anything more. That, and another kick from Xunner.
With this third kick, Xunner placed his boot heel on the imps tail and ground down on it. The imp released a squeal of pain under the grinding pressure.
"I am working on it. You will not critisize your master you foul little s**t. Once Xunner is completely mine -then- I will do with him as I please. I work on my own agenda, not one dictated by a lesser demon." Xunner snarled at the beast. The imp continued to squeal as it flailed from the pain.
"Forgive me master! You are right! It's not my place to say! Forgive me please! It just seems like...like his presence is weakening your resolve!" The imp babbled, then gave a sharper cry as in a fit of anger Xunner stamped down on his wing with his other foot. Keeping the creature pinned by it's wing, Xunner lifted his boot from it's tail and began to press it down on the creatures throat. Amid the imp's desperat choking sounds he spoke coldly.
"My resolve is just as strong as the day I summoned you beast. Never doubt that. I merely see no reason to rush my claiming of Xarzith. He amuses me, and eventually he will belong to me in his entierty. Once I have claim of his soul, he will never be free of me and he will be mine to do with as I please. Until then, you will shut up and do as I command of you, or I shall merely trample you into a broken and bloody mess and summon myself a more fitting replacement. Are we clear?" Xunner paused and looked down into the creatures bulging eyes. Well, perhaps he had been holding back a bit. Normally he didn't get this violent when the imp upset him after all.

Xar'zith was a bit annoyed that he had been left behind, but he could understand that Xunner needed privacy in which to conduct his business. Still..he was bored and he didn't have anything to do to while Xunner was away. It seemed as though he was starting to depend on Xunner to keep him occupied these days, which was a bit unsettling. It used to be that he could always come up with something to keep himself amused. Now..he was much to dependent on Xunner. He didn't know what he was supposed to do about it.
It was about this time that he noticed Xunner had left his money pouch behind on the corner table. Xar frowned slightly as he eyed it. Xunner had told him to stay put, but he would probably want his pouch if he was going to buy his supplies. Xar smiled suddenly, grabbed a shirt and then grabbed the pouch and sprinted out the door.
He worked the shirt on as he ran down the street, ignoring the startled and suggestive calls from those around him; his thoughts only on finding Xunner and pleasing him. He knew that Xunner would be glad that he had brought his pouch of money and would undoubtedly reward him for coming after him.
Xar hadn't gone far when he heard Xunner's normally soft toned voice rising in what sounded like a heated argument. Xar frowned, and glanced around. This certainly was not an area where magical components would be sold, what with it being in a bad area and in an alleyway at that. What was Xunner up to? Why had he lied to him?
Xar drew himself together, and edged closer taking care to move silently as he got closer. '...Never doubt that. I merely see no reason to rush my claiming of Xarzith. He amuses me, and eventually he will belong to me in his entirety. Once I have claim of his soul, he will never be free of me and he will be mine to do with as I please. Until then, you will shut up and do as I command of you, or I shall merely trample you into a broken and bloody mess and summon myself a more fitting replacement. Are we clear?"
Xar held back a gasp, as the words filtered into his ears and his mind tried to make sense of them. Apparently..Xunner had been lying to him for quite some time. Xar felt anger rise up in his chest, and he gritted his teeth in rage. Who was this drow who thought he could take control of him in such a way? And who the hell was he speaking to?
Xar leaned in closer to see who was there, and gasped in shock at the small demonic imp that was standing at Xunner's feet looking up at it's master with fear in it's eyes. Xar fell over in shock, causing some loose bricks to rattle onto the ground. Despite his fear, and his disgust, Xar was not the type of drow to run away from his enemies.
With blue eyes blazing daggers at Xunner, Xar lunged into the alley way, his rage clearly shining on his face. "Is that all I am to you? A drow to be conquered and broken?! Damn you! I thought there was more to us that that! I should have known you'd be spouting lies and had a forked tongue. What other demons are you in league with?!" Xar demanded, his hands letting loose the money pouch and reaching to grab Xunner's shirt in his hands. "Tell me now, dammit!" Xar snarled, shaking Xunner forcibly.

The sound of some rubble being displaced caused Xunner to lift his gaze from his struggling imp's face. A hand of his lifted in a lazy pre-gesture of a spell. If someone thought to sneak up on him and take advantage of his situation they had made such a poor choice of target. His head tilted back slightly, his single purple eye narrowing under the fall of his black bangs...before it widened with clear surprise. "Xarzith?" He spoke with a clear dismay in his words.
Darkness damn that idiotic male! He had not intended for Xarzith to learn of his true nature until there was nothing he could do about it. The look in his blue eyes revealed his anger quite clearly, and when Xar grabbed him by the front strap of his top, he disturbed his already precarious footing on top of the imp. Xunner staggered back, releasing the small demon from underfoot so it could crawl away gasping. Xunner reached up to grab the hand that was currently shaking him...and with a good deal of force as well. His head shook back and forth for a few moments and he could feel his teeth clattering in his skull. "Vith!" He cursed with a hiss. "Release me Xar! Or do you intend on hurting me again?" He hissed while squirming against the hand holding him so determinedly. He was reaching right now of course. Hoping that the sense of guilt he had been working on instilling into Xar would still have some sort of hold on the angry young male. His eye flickered over Xar's face while fighting to control his own features. Damn..damn... Where was his other hand? The one holding him was clear to see, but the other? Xunner glanced down worriedly in search of the other hand. He didn't want to find a dagger in it!

Xar felt his spine tingle when Xunner raised a hand towards him and his eyes narrowed further. His blinded rage cooled slightly as he considered who he held aloft. Xunner might not be the "magician" he claimed to be, but he did know spells. Spells that could hurt and destroy. Still..that wasn't enough for him to let the object of his rage loose just yet.
He was momentarily surprised at the dismay in Xunner's tone, and almost believed it. Xar didn't even notice that the imp had gotten free from underneath Xunner's foot. Perhaps he should have paid better attention, but his rage was still encompassing him and distracting him from common sense.
"Let you loose so you can enchant me to be a mindless companion for you? Why the hell would I do that?!" Xar scowled coldly. "I do still have brains, despite you seducing me so well."
He stared defiantly back at Xunner, his face going into a flat near expressionless void after a few moments. "I don't know why I ever trusted you. I should have known better." Xar spat, and then suddenly released his hold on Xunner's straps.
"Trust is for the weak, " He said, turning to go without a glance back at Xunner. "I will be weak no longer." With that Xar strode away, his every step full of anger and disgust at himself. Why did he always fall for those who would hurt him? Why was he so damaged that he trusted them when he got close? It was as if he stopped being a drow when he fell in love, and stopped being paranoid. Which could mean death in the Underdark. It was time to stop relying on others and looking for companionship. It was just safer in the long run to stay single.

No dagger entered his rib cage. Well that was good. It was he very least he expected from the infuriated assassin. Xunner's purple eye remained fixed on Xar's own cold blue ones. Damn this imp! If he had not sassed him back and just done what he had demanded then this would not be happening right now! Xunner felt as if Xar was quickly slipping out from his clawed grasp...and he felt a small cold spike driving itself into his stomach.
Xar had not been the only one to grow used to company. The warmth and sound of Xar's presence had become familiar, like it was filling in the empty gaping feeling that the curse was steadily ripping away at him. Xunner's eye narrowed a little and he hissed in frustration. "Oh, so it was only I that was doing the seducing!?" He snapped as Xunner would thrust him back and release him. Xunners imp, now that it had been given a moment to regain it's breath, looked on with clear hateful agitation.
Xunner's connection allowed him to read the surface thoughts of the beast, and he knew it was torn between it's hatred of both men as to how it should act. Xunner made the decision for him when he mentally jabbed it to stop Xarzith from getting away. "You have been weak since the day of your birth." He spat at Xarziths back. The imp darted forwards in an attempt to entangle itself in Xar's feet as a means to hinder him while Xunner prepared a spell.
He was not going to let him leave... "You are mine. Your not leaving me." He hissed under his breath as he lifted his right hand in an arcane gesture. Xunner was well aware that he had few spells that would not scar or do damage to Xar. He had no desire to mar the beauty of the male that had captivated his profane interests...but he'd rather hurt Xar then see him escape. His choice of spells was limited, and as he had no intention of drawing attention from nearby threats by stunning Xar with a Vrocks Screech, he settled for the good old trick of the Priestesses and cast a Bestow Curse upon Xar's unprotected back.
Xunner waved his hand with a quick jerking and snapping motion as he cast the spell. If Xar thought he was weak before...now he would truely know the sensation of weakness as Xunner cast a spell to sap a great deal of his physical strength from him. He could not run away if he didn't have the strength to stand! "Bal'gak Verrick Ergrek Ak'ell!" Xunners tongue twisted over the demonic words as he cast his curse.
((Xunner is...over reacting? >.> He is bestowing a permanent curse on Xar to weaken his strength. His intentions are to make him too weak to fight him. A Bless or remove curse spell can lift it, or Xunner can later when he feel's he's tied him up well enough XD It's up to you of course how well the spell effects Xar))

"You know you weren't, Goddess help me I won't let you use that against me! I was innocent in those ways until I met you and you corrupted me!" Xar snarled back, his eyes going hard as he stared at Xunner.
He had to turn away a moment later, he could see under Xunner's anger that there was a longing there, something that he knew would make him change his mind. He couldn't let that happen. Now that he had some clarity and the ability to see Xunner for what he was Xar wasn't about to go back willingly to the demonologist.
Just thinking of the other one that he had encountered at a young age had Xar shaking with rage. If only there was some way he could forget that and stop dwelling on it. At least those memories were strong enough to snap him out of his complacency to see what Xunner could have done to him.
Xar'zith's steps slowed at the words flung at his back. Then he shook his head as if to forget the words and started to move forward. He nearly tripped because of the imp that had wrapped itself around his legs while he had been distracted.
"Get off you little bugger!" Xar swore angrily bending over to rip it off of his ankles. Xar could feel something behind him whirling towards him, and turned right at the last moment and the spell Xunner had unleashed hit him in the chest. Xar stood there stunned for a moment, the imp going limp in his hands. He could feel a bit of his strength ebbing away, but the imp had taken more of the spell than he had.
He wasn't about to let Xunner know that though, and slowly pulled a dagger out of his belt in slow motion and lobbed it at him. If Xunner was going to believe he made had succeeded then Xar wasn't going to make him think otherwise.
"I'm weak? I'm weak?" Xar spat, his face going red. "I"m not the one that just threw a spell at someone's back! If you're wanting a fight, lets do it face to face." Then Xar paused with a quizzical look on his face as his dagger fell a foot short of Xunner and glanced back up sharply.
"What the hell did you do to me?"

Innocent? Xunner wanted to laugh aloud. Xar was no more innocent then any other drow here! He was not innocent. He was a -fool-. A fool who wandered off and got himself nearly killed. A fool that had in turn led Xunner to weakening himself. Marring his pretty face and leading to his near death. Had Xar been a wise drow, he would have abandoned him in the tunnels on the orders of his commander. Instead he had put himself in this position, and Xunner was not going to let that -fool- complicate his life anymore. No more games! No more holding back! He was going to claim Xar and ensure that there would be no questions ever who was in charge! He was not going to let these questionable thoughts weaken him anymore. He couldn't just kill Xar. he wanted him too badly...so he would make certain that there was no chance of losing him.
When he saw the imp take down Xar, he was slightly pleased. Only slightly though. Considering the fact the... "Damn beast!" He snarled as it took the brunt of the spell he had intended to take down Xar. His purple eye blinked rapidly, and he lifted a hand in the air as he saw the other fling a dagger at him. However, as he watched, it fell awkwardly short. Clearly his spell had taken some effect. Perhaps even enough for him to finish the job he had in mind? A predators grin pulled at Xunner's lips "Oh yes. Your very weak now pet. I think it's time we stopped playing these games. You are mine Xar'zith. I will lay claim to every aspect of your being." He promised as he swiftly crossed to where the assassin sat. He lunged down, hands outstretched to grasp at Xar's wrists.

Xar'zith knew the moment the word "innocent" had emerged from his lips that he had said the wrong thing. However he wasn't about to amend what he had said because he knew that would only make him look weaker than he felt. And there was no way he was going to do that. It would only make Xunner laugh at him or do worse.
Xar had no clue that the drow and the imp were connected and that the spell that had been intended for him had done more damage to the caster. If he had known he might not have faked how much it had affected him. Still..not knowing what the spell was supposed to have done was not the least bit helpful.
Xar didn't struggle against the other, knowing if he did that the demonologist would just use another spell on him. He allowed Xunner to grab his wrists and restrain him, despite his wanting to fight and get away from the touch that had once elicited such pleasure. "Oh, you can try to lay claim to me. I'll see you fail." He promised coldly.

He had him! He had him! Xunner's moment of elation was really a bit premature he supposed, but he could not help but feel sure of himself as he grasped Xar's wrists. His hair shifted over his face, obscuring his gemstone eye for a moment. He could still see easily out of his single eye though..and he rather liked what he saw. At least, what he thought he saw. Xunner leaned down a bit, but not too close. The last thing he wanted to do was give Xar a chance to head butt him and run off while he was stunned.
Xunners lips pulled back as he considered the bold declaration of the other. "Oh Xar... such obstinacy shall do you no good."Xunner purred softly. He wanted to kiss him right now. He wanted to place his mark of ownership on Xar right here in the ally...but he didn't want to risk being disturbed. If he could get him back to their little campsite though... A shifting to his side drew Xunners attention away from Xar for a moment. His imp was struggling to stay on it's feet, a reminder that this elation would only fuel his own strength so long. He needed to get Xar properly restrained so he could remove the curse. How embarrassing was this? Hit by his own curse. Xunner shook his head a little and hissed in demonic to his familiar. "Sssha. Kressh'en nar're hisst" He snarled at the creature, then watched as it crawled towards him and began to search through his pockets. He did not dare take his hands off Xar's yet, even to find some rope to secure his pet.

Xar'zith stared daggers up at Xunner's lone purple eye. A pang of guilt ran though him, remembering how he had been the cause of the demonologist's losing his eye. Damn. Why did things have to change so drastically? For a long time they had been friends, lovers and really close. And now the damn fool was trying to control him, and make him do things he didn't want to do. Why couldn't things just stay the way they had been?
Vile rose in his chest, and Xar turned and spat on Xunner's chest. Anger began to rise in him and he glared defiantly at his lover. "Oh don't lie now; you know you prefer those that fight against you. You're only doing this because you grew tired of what we were. You prefer being in control, and not letting someone else take control. That's why you always have to be on top." Xar shot at him angrily.
His gaze was taken off of Xunner when the demonologies called his familiar to him. A sudden thought flickered through his mind. Xunner seemed weaker than normal, and that had happened after the damn imp had gotten hit by the spell. Were the two of them linked in some manner. Had Xunner taken the brunt of that magical attack?
Xar's lip curled back and when the imp finally reached the Demonologist to check his pocket, Xar drew back his leg and kicked the imp squarely in the face with all his might. The imp let loose a cry of pain and crumpled to the ground, it's face spurting blood everywhere. Xar laughed cruelly and watched as the imp died flailing on the stony ground. "I bet that hurts like hell."

He saw that flicker of emotion. Perhaps he had worked his influence upon Xar'zith better then he had thought. Of course, being a drow it was just in his nature to be overly cautious. He glanced once towards the imp as it rustled in his pocket. Xunner's brow started to arch when Xar'Zith would speak. His bitter words sounded so...sweet.
"Oh. A little struggling is always exciting." He murmured, his lips pressing into a thin and unfriendly smile as he turned his gaze back to Xar'Zith. "Of course I must be in control. As if I'd ever let someone as weak as you top me!" He snorted in such amusement. If he were in a situation to be a bit lewd he most likely would have done a bit more, but he was getting a bit more impatient to finish his business here. Once he had Xar claimed he'd just play with him today instead of whatever beast he had meant to send his imp out for.
As the imp moved to collect the components he needed for his binding spell, Xunner decided to begin simply murmuring the words. As his familiar, the imp could use the items he needed when it came time for it. "Zooluth bann eztrez' He incanted softly. The stream of demonic issuing from his lips in a quick flow. The binding spell -was- intended for demons. But Xunner was banking on somewhere in Xar'Ziths line he had a demonic descendant. Priestess had been producing demon offspring for as long as they had been worshiping Lloth herself.
Then...Xar would kick out at the imp. The small weak demons skull caved and the stream of words Xunner had been speaking slurred and twisted. he felt something twist in his gut and there was a flash of light somewhere in his skull. His magic had done..something. It had drained from him so it was clearly used but he could not focus enough to determine how or where. Xunner released Xar's wrists, the smug words coming from Xar echoed in his head as he moved his hands to hold it in pain. The death of his familiar most certainly had an effect on him. His body was wracked with pain, which was in no way nearly as bad as the pain he had suffered at the hands of the demon...but it was still more then his drow essence could handle. Weakened already by his own curse, Xunner slipped off from his place on Xar and fell in a half fetal position in a state of unconsciousness.

Xar'zith closed his face off, but a moment too late. Xunner had seen his regret and guilt. He cursed inwardly at showing off such a weakness to the b*****d.
He gritted his teeth at Xunner's response, it wasn't really anything new to him. Though it hurt to know how Xunner actually thought of him. Damn.
When Xunner began to chant the demon tongue he shuddered and wondered just what his former lover had planned for him. Just what did those words mean? Of course it didn't really matter because his kick killed the imp before the imp could help Xunner complete his spell.
The moment the demonologist's hands released his wrists, Xar was making a run for it. He felt a bit odd, a bit off from how he normally felt. Almost as if he was tethered to something. He kept running without looking back, not really concerned or caring what might happen to his former lover. He could die for all he cared.
Of course this all changed the moment he felt a sudden searing pain run down his entire body stopping him in his tracks. Xar bent over and spewed out the food he had eaten earlier, his whole body shaking and shivering from the strange feeling coursing through him. He slowly pulled himself up and tried to force himself to go further, only for his head to start pounding heavily and feel as though it were going to split into two.
"AUGH!" He screamed in agony, his hands grabbing at his head and slowly, reluctantly inching his way back to the now still form of Xunner. "What the hell have you done?" He demanded and slapped Xunner across the face.
When the demonologist didn't respond, Xar scowled in annoyance. "Damn you to hell." He said fiercely. "You bound me to yourself in some way! If you think I'm going to take it you've got another thing coming!"
Xar sighed heavily and reluctantly grabbed the taller drow and pulled him up across his shoulders. "Well..I guess I can't leave you here, us being bonded now." He said with a huff.
Xar made his way back to their hotel room slowly as the larger and heavier frame of Xunner limited how fast he could go.
