Part 1Dorian woke up in a cold sweat, and was a bit surprised to find himself in a strange bed. For a moment he drew a blank on what had happened and where he was. Then as he glanced around he caught sight of Clover's red head in the bed next to him and it all came back in a flash.
At least the nurse had left his clothes on. Dorian would have been a deep red by now if he had found himself undressed and under the blankets. He experimentally moved his left arm around and was relieved to find that it no longer hurt or bothered him. It seemed as though the nurse had fixed him up, but what had caused him to black out like that? And forget what had happened? Could it have been the pain? or something worse.
"Hey, Clover, are you awake?" he called softly so not to bother the other students that took up a few of the infirmary beds on an opposite side of their room.
When she didn't answer, Dorian glanced around for the nurse or someone to talk to. He wasn't surprised that Arona had disappeared after getting them to the clinic. She probably figured that she had done enough to get back on his good side. Dorian didn't quite figure it that way. Sure she had been a help, but he could have died from his fall. If she thought she was going to get away with just helping get them to the infirmary she had another thing coming.
Dorian slid out of the bed and padded over the cold linoleum floor and sat down on the side of her bed and gently shook Clover's shoulder. "Clover, wake up!"

Clover's eye's flutterd open and she looked up at Dorian looking at her. It took her a moment to relise that she was in the medical wing and not in the Hufflepuff Dorm.
She sat up and the green of her brade fell behind her back. "Hay where's that Gryffindor, Arona?" she asked looking around she saw her arms were no longer bleeding let alone scaped and her back didn't hurt eather.
"Man how long where we out for?" she asked then saw her kit at the end of the bed.

Dorian was glad when Clover woke up and looked around. Though he wouldn't admit it, he hated being alone in new places. Especially in an ancient castle that was constantly changing and moving around on him. He still wasn't used to Hogwarts and he'd been living in the castle for over two months now.
"I don't know," He replied to Clover's question glancing around a bit. "I think she ran out on us. Shall we hunt her down later?" He asked with a mischievous light in his eyes.
"I really don't know." he muttered glancing around for a clock of some sort. "My stupid watch doesn't work in here. I assume it's been at least a few hours, as it's nearly dark out and it was in the middle of the afternoon when we were outside."

Clover at him and nodded "Yeah, but maybe she was also told that she shouldn't linger or something." she said alowing the benifit of the dout. "But if not then I'll punch her in the face." she said firmly.
She looked tords the windows, it was getting dark, "Gess that means we're going to stay here for the night." she said in discust. "I hate being foced to stay inside."
She looked at him, "So how are you feeling?" she asked.

Dorian shrugged his shoulders, that seemed rather plausible. It seemed like teachers and staff members didn't like it when students milled around in one place for long. Though it wasn't as if a first year could do much of anything or cause much harm.
"That could be true." he turned and looked at her in surprise when she said she'd punch Arona in the face. "You'd really punch her? At least don't do it too hard." he said seeing that she was adamant about it.
He wasn't about to get in Clover and Arona if she was set on a fight. He'd already seen the sort of damage girls could do to one another and to boys. that wasn't something he'd forget anytime soon.
"I sure hope not!" Dorian objected remembering that his familiar Remy had been left alone without anyone to take care of him. "Remy will be pissed off at me if I don't get back to feed him soon. That cat seriously has a problem with being left alone for a long period of time." He groaned in annoyance brushing his hair out of his face.
"Yeah..being stuck inside is like being in a prison." Dorian agreed running his hands over the blanket on her bed hoping a nurse would show up soon. He had to get out of there before it got much later, but he didn't want to leave without the nurse knowing.
"I feel pretty good actually," Dorian replied testing out his left arm and moving it around a bit. "It's like the fall never even happened. How about you? I hope I didn't bruise you too bad."

Clover chuckled a little, "Well only if she gives me a good enuff reason to puntch her. Well Ok I might not punch her but I could easly make her eat some dirt... but again if she gives me a good enuff reason to, like picking on one of my friends, or something like that." she said with a shrug.
Clover was pritty forgiving Arona did apologise but she did kind of disapeard too so it was a fine line to Clover. To wather Arona actuly was sorry or not.
Her eyes lit up when he mentiond the cat. "Really? I some what wish I could have brot Bella but she's a dog, and needed back on the farm to heard the sheep." she said rolling her eyes, "She'll get grumpy too if she's not fed on time." she chuckled. "One of my drawings is of her." she added ponting at the art kit.
She glanced at the other beds then for a nurse aswell, "Yeah, my back isn't bothering me, and my arms don't even have scabs, or scars from the razor vine." she said with a nod looking at her arms.

Dorian shook his head a bit at Clover's words. "Well as long as you have a reason." he said with a shrug of his shoulders. "I myself don't see the point of fighting all the time."
Dorian was a bit sad to hear that Clover didn't have a familiar. He had thought that every student had one. At least that's what he had been told. "Well that's too bad. Maybe you'll be able to get a familiar next year that you can bring." Dorian's gaze followed Clover's to the end of her bed where her art kit lay. He leaned over and snagged the handle of the bag and handed it over to her.
"Well that's good." Dorian said his eyes once again searching for a nurse. "Okay, let's get out of here. If they wanted us to stay they would have made sure we couldn't get out of bed." Dorian jumping up and reached out to give Clover a hand out of bed. "If we wait around we'll end up having to stay here all night long. I'd rather not do that, even that would mean I'd get to skip classes tomorrow."

Clover chuckled, "Well I don't like to fight, but I'm not going to be pushed about eather." she stated with a shrug.
"Thanks." she said when she handed it to him. "Who knows maybe I'll get one during Christmas brake. I'd rather a cat or an Owl, they would probly be the most likely to help out on the farm when I'm there. A Rat would be a little odd, and a Toad .... well I don't know." she said with a chuckle.
She nodded and pulled the strap over her sholder and checked quicly if it was all in there. "Yeah with dinner and then Cerfu... we'd be better off getting out of here now." she said as she got up out of the bed.

Dorian couldn't help but admire Clover. She was definitely a strong person and wasn't about to take crap from anyone. He could definitely learn a few things from her.
"I admire that about you," Dorian told her sincerely. "Not many people tend to stand up for themselves. I have to admit that's part of my problem. It takes a lot to get me mad and then I can barely control myself."
"I'd think having an owl would be a neat experience. I have a cat, and he tends to run off a lot. I think they're just more free spirited than owls. I've heard owls are very loyal." Dorian informed her. He had never really thought about it, but if he were to get another pet or familiar he'd definitely want a bird of some sort. More than likely an owl. Or an osprey.
Dorian was relieved that she agreed with him. He definitely didn't want to wait around for a nurse to shove them back in bed and make them stay over night. Being confined to the infirmary was not his idea of a good time.
"Great," Dorian said rushing across the linoleum floor and to the double doors of the infirmary. He opened the right door a bit and peaked out. He quickly pulled his head back and shot Clover an exasperated look. "There's a nurse out there. Looks like we're going to have to sneak past her."

Clover chuckled "It's nothing that I didn't pick up from my grandma... it must be something I inharted." She said shrugging it off like it was nothing, "It actuly takes a lot to get me mad but it depends on the case of whats at hand I gess." she said with a chuckled
"I gess that could be true, but cats can be traind.... slooooowly. Though a pig or dog could do better then a cat any day of the week." she said rolling her eyes.
She went over and took a look for herself. "Yeah, but it's not going to be easy with the pictors eather." She said "But sitting around wating is going to make me go insain."

Dorian found that, despite the girl's strange way of talking that he actually liked hanging around her. Probably because she wasn't the dramatic type..or so he deemed by the short time he had been in her presence.
"Well that's one good thing to inherit. My grandmere says I inherited my hotness from my Pepe, even though there are times when he's nodding his head towards her. She's something of a spitfire when she gets mad." he said, with a small grin.
Dorian contemplated her words. Perhaps it was time that he worked on training Remy. It was getting rather annoying how much his familiar was escaping and causing problems. Still..it may be too late, since his cat was nearly five years old now.
"Does it matter how old they are when the training starts? Cause Remy's five and kind of set in his ways." Dorian stated, pursing his lips.
Dorian huffed out a long breath, and then turned to peer out the door again. "Hmm..I think I could use a spell to distract her. Get ready to move." Dorian said, pulling his wand out of his pants pocket and then waved it and muttered, "Wingardium Leviosa" and made the a book fly out of the book case from across the room and then let it drop with a loud bang.
"Now!" Dorian muttered, pushing the door open and making a dash out of the infirmary as the nurse was startled by the noise and got up to inspect it. Once she was past the desk, Dorian made a dash for the exit of the infirmary wing. He hoped that Clover was behind him because he didn't want her to get caught.

Clover chuckled at how he comented about his grandmothers being like a spitfire plant. Though she didn't know how to take the "hotness" part of it.
"Five years? It'll be emencely hard to train a cat that old. It's best if you tain it when yung. For most animals." she said with a slight "sorry srug"
It was when he made the distraction that she moved as quickly and quitely. She relaxed slightly when they where outside of the wing but looked back behind her. "Think we still make it in time for dinner?" she asked looking at him.

Dorian shot a grin over at Clarissa as she laughed and saw that something he had said had confused her. He didn't have the time to address it, but decided he'd ask her about it later.
Dorian was rather pleased with how his diversion had worked, and that he hadn't needed to wait for Clarissa or have to help her. Most girls were sometimes really incovenient and more work than was necessary. He was rather glad that Clarissa wasn't like that. He cocked his head to the side for a moment as if considering her question.
"We just might if we hurry." Dorian replied catching sight of a clock nearby. "Come on let's get some food. After dinner..I imagine we'll be having to go to our own houses. Shall we meet up tomorrow afternoon and locate this Arona girl?" He asked with a sly look on his face.

Dorian shot Clover a smile and was a bit surprised when she started running. A smile and a rather competitive look came into his eyes when she called back at him. Dorian caught up with her easily as his legs were slightly longer than hers and drew ahead of her. He was breathing a little harder when they reached the Great Hall and slowed down, not wanting to get caught by a teacher.
"That was fun," He told Clover with a grin. "One of these days we'll have to do a proper race where the teachers won't yell at us." Dorian waited at the open doors of the Great Hall for Clover to go in first.
