HEEEEYYYY~

Figured we have a favorite RPG thread, so why not make a favorite system thread as well?

Don't you just love these things? xD

Anyways, I'd have to say that most games I've seen that use percentile dice are really fun because of the fact that I'm good with percentages and they're easy to work with.

And when someone says "You have a ____% chance of success." I don't have to do any math. Haha.

I'd agree I enjoy D% systems, but when I was making the Fallout game I honestly thought I had invented it xP I was pissed to see they'd been around as long as they have been

I've never payed a D% system, so have no idea how they work or how well they work.

I'd have to say that the White Wolf Storyteller system (or variations on it such as the Unisystem) would have to be my favourite type.

Same, I haven't had any experience with d% systems, so I can't comment on those.

Since my experience isn't broad enough, I'll refrain from naming any specific systems as favorites yet. I have found that I like systems that incorporate a character's personality into the mechanics, though--Sufficiently Advanced gives characters four Core Values, Scion gives them four Virtues, Mouse Guard has each character pick a Belief and an Instinct, etc.
