Very interesting. I'd like to do more research into them just to satisfy my curiousity about the plates.

There is definitely evidence that ancient societies wrote on metal plates. I'd love to find out more about the ones you linked to. I saw some metal plates in the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit when it came through Utah. Here is a pretty good little article about the use of plates by Jeff Lindsay.

If sources are to be believed, I saw some where that the plates are fake and a hoax.
