I have one. It's awesome. I'm playing Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (essentially a Dynasty Warriors game). The 3d is entertaining and not as disorienting as advertised; it's stereoscopic, which means you can't shift the DS around a lot; plane of screen must stay in a stable orthogonal to the intersection of your lines of vision from each eye. Image layering and fixing the image layers dependent on the slider allows the seamless switching between 3d off and on during games, so it's visually kinda like a popup book w/ movies on each layer. The slider controls the depth between layers. Moving the slider around has no impact on performance of game while playing.
Why couldn't anyone explain it that way when writing articles? *sigh*
Also, Streetpass is very social-networking-y, and since I'm not that social, it's meh. The games associated (Puzzle and Find Mii) require a streetpass per acquire of puzzle-piece/level of RPG-style mii who fights to free you from a labyrinth... or spending game coins acquired thru pedometer steps, which can also be used in other 3ds games.
I'm greatly anticipating Star Fox and OoT in the late summer.
Side note: I refuse to listen to that song and have yet to hear it. Given how infectious it seems (everyone talks about it), I'm glad I haven't heard it.

It's like, a song I would come up with when I was 10. Get some little kid to sing something for you and you have an idea of how dumb it is. Maaaaan I wish I still played games. Everyone talks about them and I want to play too, but I don't have the time or the money.
