YAY YAY YAY
for a minute there, i thought you were going to say that Sailor Moon was coming back to regular TV, and i was about to FLIP OUT. but manga is just as good!

If it gets popular with this generation I don't see why the anime series wouldn't come back (and be properly dubbed this time).

Exactly! It's the same story from ages ago but with better translations,
bonus additions, and new cover art! Japan had already gotten this version
about 2 years before the old American version went out of print.

After this i googled some things... and it makes me wonder... what was your favourite sailor moon item?
Mine was her pen and crescent wand... no clue why. i just loved them both.

Nostalgia~. I also hope that, if this brings back enough popularity for the series, we'll finally have the whole series properly dubbed. I wonder where I put the few volumes I have of the manga...

Over a year ago Funimation had a poll for which anime series people
would like to see them dub. Sailor Moon was one of the options. And
about sometime after Toei Animation put Sailor Moon up for auction.
I don't know if Funi won or even bid on it, but I know it just started
airing in Italy and there's even an Italian DS game coming out for it... DO WANT.
I want the cell phone like in the Live. It was like the pen but you took a
picture of what you wanted to dress up as and you were dressed in the outfit.
I could just look through a catalog and have all the clothes at no cost! biggrin

Wow! I watched this show a few times as a kid but never got to see the manga, I remember hearing how much different the North American and Japanese versions were and how toned down it became when it aired here... I'm contemplating actually getting this when it comes out.
