Within this here topic, Myself and my counterparts will answer questions dealing with any Scientific aspects within the roleplaying world. I myself [ Yummybiscuits ] have an intimate knowledge of Chemicals, Chemical structure, Atoms, Atomic Structure, and really, anything that has to do with the small details of the Scientific aspects, while also knowing quite a large amount of information pertaining to human and animal anotomical structural basics. While, not as trained in the ideals of Energy transfer, Energy as a general topic, and a few other things that have escaped my grasp, There will be other people here such as Revan and Cade to help fill in the gaps of knowledge. If there is anything unanswered here, Check out Maxwell's Roleplaying Corner, which provides an indepth discusion on the Mechanics of the natural world during roleplaying.

Haha, well I'll say it anyways. Amen. And While I'm at it, Hallelujah.
But, yes, while I do have a fairly large discussion area in my own Corner that's not why I am here. I'm not here to to promote for myself, but instead, further extend that you ask questions either here or to Yummy. And even to Cade or Caiyo. I would decree that Yummy's knowledge over molecular structures is exponentially vaster than mine, and I can fully respect that. I take pride in knowing that fellow roleplayers take a pride in adding sense to their but kicking. And while, sometimes, it may seem excessive in terms of detail, Old Spice, the one force which needs no explanation of it being the ultimate God send to us mere mortals and demi-gods, demands that nothing be as epic as itself and make total sense.
But again, I can vouch for Yummy as being a viable source of good information. And don't let his "intermediate" speak confuse you. He is as freaking Boss as you can get without being a total anatomical scientist.

Old Spice is an unexplainable compound in of itself. The power that is somehow and unknowledgably contained within it's basic confines is simply mind bogging.
Take every single sun in the entire universe, and the infinite amount of other universes, and multiply that by another infinity to the power of infinity. Then, Take that sum, and add the ability to understand both slang and average speak, as well as a mix inbetween. That, Times ten, is Old Spice.
I somehow explained an unexplainable object, therefore creating an infinite cycle of parodoxial problema within the confines of my own deranged mind and every single mind within the universae and within the universae themselves!
I have officially ripped a hole the size of Old Spice in the fabric of Space-Time-Dimensional-Energy. I have doomed us all to die, and then re-live our deaths while in a neverending cycle of everything, For Old Spice, in it's infinite wisdom, made it's only weakness itself. Therefore, the Universae are destoyed, and then recreated in the exact order of events from the moment everything that lead to this; i.e. MY BIRTH.
Bam, I feel EPIC right now.

Alchemy is considered to be the change of one type of matter, into another type of matter. There are various ways to perform this, coupled with various rules to performing said various ways.
All alchemy must follow a few basic rules :
The Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy which states that energy and matter can neither be created from nothing nor destroyed to the point of elemental nonexistence. In other words, to create an object weighing one kilogram, at least one kilogram of material is necessary and destroying an object weighing one kilogram would reduce it to a set of parts, the sum of which would weigh one kilogram exactly. This is important to Alchemy for the reason that if you have parts to become another object, you must have equal mass. The density has the ability to change on whim, whilst mass does not.
The Law of Relative Mass states that each indivdual atom, ion, or isotope within matter has weight, no matter the size of said atom, ion, or isotope. However, In reality, science states that each atom, ion, or isotope have what is called an average weight. Each atom, ion, or isotope has a slightly different weight. While mentioning this seems unimportant, It is important. The reasoning behind this is held behind density [ which if you don't know, is Denisty = Mass divided by Volume ].
Definition - The metaphysical ability to Alter or Manipulate Matter, and the different aspects of Matter using either Natural, Supernatural, or studied ability to do so. To do so requires either an input of energy, created in a flow manner, or a use of mental ability to make the structure of matter change. The ability to use alchemy in battle requires the knowledge of chemicals, the atomic structure of chemicals, and the knowledge of the flow or mental ability required to use Alchemy.
Direct Manipulation Of Matter
Direct Manipulation functions on manipulating the atomic structure of any element within a specified space. This space is decided by the power of the Alchemist. This space is the area that Alchemic power is used within, and is completely controled by the Alchemist.
Within that space, the atomic structure of matter within that space is manipulated into other matter, completely equal to the other matter in existence before. This matter will be equal in weight, and relative mass. Density however, has the ability to be changed on simple whim within the confine of the space. Once the individual elements of an item are made, They atoms of the different elements can be manipulated into compunds, and from those compunds, into semblence of man-made items, or completely different items based on simple whim. So, after consideration, The space available for transforming use is one of the major drawbacks within Direct Manipulation styles is the space available.
A technique used by Asu, My own alchemist, is to use the atmosphere in conjunction with existing things, so as to increase the denisty in his available space, and then have the object, as it is being created, to expand from the space. This is similar to weaving a sweater; the sweater is created, and as it is made, is moved further away from the knitting needles so as to allow more of the sweater to be created. This technique would be the most well known in use by Direct Manipulator alchemists.
Prepared Alchemy A.K.A. Mainstream Alchemy
This is the type of Alchemy created and used by the show ' FullMetal Alchemist ' . The show, while not giving much information, gives clues that i use to infer from.
The items to be transformed must be analyzed pre-battle, and have the elements and compunds needed for the precise creation set out, and ready to use. While exact measurements are not required, the exactness would be preffered by higher ranked transfigurations.
The proccess of the transfiguration is made through a combination of a track of some sort, and a flow of energy through that circle. Most of these alchemists will use their own body as the track, as the energy can be passed through the body, and then used to transfigure the objects in question to be transfigured. The track can be anything from a drawn circle, some sort of conduit that is conected in a circular to semi-circular fashion, or just any conected figure that has the ability to pass the energy in a flow. The actual flow of the energy is what causes the transfiguration to be made, as the energy, whilst passing around or towards the objects to be transfigured, moves the atomic structure around within the object, therefore making it into a new object entirely.
The main drawback of this sort of alchemist would have to be the ability to transfigure. The ability to change the density, relative mass, and other certain aspects of objects that other alchemists think as second nature. Another drawback would include something other alchemists would also find second nature. If an alchemist is, for instance, turning a steel pipe into a gun, this form of alchemist will not be able to create non-steel parts.
Biological Alchemy
Biological alchemy can fit into other realms, but only the masters of their own fields have the abilty to use Biological alchemy to it's full extent. The difficulty is presented because, unlike non-living objects, the living tissue must be alligned in such a near-perfect manner so the object can continue to work properly. It must be near perfect for the reason that, if there is even one, or two, depending on the error, error, the entire object can become useless, or weaker than intended, which would make the entire proccess of the transfiguration a complete waste of time and energy. For that reason, Only the masters choose to do Biological Alchemy.
Biological alchemy uses the same techniques as listed above, but differentiated in the fact that the living tissue must be moved instead of non-living. Each and every detail of the transfiguration must be made in such a fashion that if small errors are made, the entire new structure can fail, and then cause what is known as a backlash. A backlash entails the energy being used in the transfiguration, flipping around, and turning the tissue used in the Transfiguration to be turned inside out, whilst also throwing the energy back in a concussive wave. For that reason, Only masters of the art of Alchemy can have the courage to do Biological Alchemy.
There are some forms of Biological Alchemy that allow the user to morph their living tissue with non-living tissue. This technique is useful in combat, but also poses the threat of extreme backlashes. For this to operate correctly, the non-living object must be morphed into a semi-living tissue, while the living tissue is made into a binding tissue, that connects the living and non-living objects together. This ability is only able to be used by Direct Manipulators, for other types are unable to morph other types of matter into one type of matter.

OH MY GOD YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! *knowledgegasm*
That was sexy. And that last part on Biological Alchemy, not to relate everything I do to Maxwell, but I have to,my character Revan and any other character I decided to allow the use of Demi-magic with, that is the very reason why I stay away from using it on people and living matter outside of simpler structure creatures. Granted, Demi-magic is not a form of alchemy by tradition, it is a sister skill that almost all forms of Alchemy dip into and a skill that dips into Alchemy all the same, where as Alchemy deals more with the structure, Demi-magic (Which so everyone understand stands for the "Diminution of Magic" as to explain why it is not a magic) deals with the flow of energy to reorganize alignment of structures or more commonly direct the flow of energy. The issue with trying to use Demi-magic and like abilities on living creatures is the fact that the energy in creatures is always in flux. Sure you can try and argue that point, but really, your cells are not constantly putting out the same amount of energy at all times unless you aren't made of a truly organic material (hence why I say Demi-magic is much better against people who like to be none organic materials so they can get slashed and not get hurt.
But I'm getting a little of track oy my original post purpose. I had asked Yummy to spread a little of his alchemy wealth for others to peruse and think upon, because I have found a great degree of alchemist users to use very large and vast techniques without even taking into consideration that some of the things they have transfigured don't honestly add up. Because i've seen a branch turned into a sword. And when I say branch, I mean a branch the size of a walking stick turned into a Excalibur blade. Now please understand, it is not the fact that this process had taken place that I am disheartened but the fact that the person swore that because the branch was the right size that it could be made to fit the size, density and weight of the new object, which we should all know is false because a branch like that, least it was filled with water, would not have the density in it to make that change without the blade itself being light and hollow itself in some manner. Meaning it could serve as a sword, but it would not be as structurally sound at that size because the density would not match.
Once again, I digress.
Good show Yummy. Went above and beyond on the call with this one. But I would have expected no less from you. Thanks again for doing this, because now a number of my own question and concerns are addressed here.

Physics Concerning Space-Time and Beyond
All who have been in some sort of Sci-Fi mood or something of the sort have heard of the immutable force known as Space-Time. This post will reflect on my personal beliefs on the subject.
General Make-up : Firstly, I believe Space-Time, in of itself, is not a combined force. Instead, I believe that Space is wrapped around Time, making something similar to a wire; the metal being Time, and the insulation being Space. The entire structure is, just as a wire, a long cylindrical object, within which our universe, out of the many universae, lays. Our universe, and dimension as a whole, acts as an electron within a wire would with direct current, flowing towards the supposed end, which in this case there may or may not be. In that term, Time’s flow is active, giving the appearance of time passing around those within times flow. Space, lying outside of time, is where things such as time travel occur, for devices of powers that control time move time aside, and give you access to space, where you then ‘ jump ‘ back in to the flow, at a different time and mayhap, a different place. I also believe that Space is outside of time to protect time from other forms of energy, which mayhap intervene on Time’s flow. More info will be stated below on the make up.
Time : As stated above, Time is a constant flow, forming around objects immersed within It, and then aging them as such. Time takes the form, literally, of an invisible and unmanageable energy. Time cannot be touched, for in of itself, it is impossible to touch, and therefore, impossible to use as some sort of power, or use in demi magic. Such things as Time travel will be discussed later.
Space : Space surrounds Time, just as a wire’s insulation would. In my opinion, Space is the protector of time. The force space is made to guard however, I will not delve into, as I have no Idea what it may entail. As you all may know, matter is something with mass, that takes up space. Therefore, My idea of Space wrapping around time must have a certain loophole. Now make time a sponge, inside of Space, and therefore, space wraps around it, protecting it.
As stated, Matter takes up space, and has mass. Therefore, In my opinion, Space is a matter-less region, which, although believed to be impossible, destroys matter when matter enters into Space. This would be destroyed through some sort of uber radiation in Space. Therefore, time travel is * Technically * impossible. Those that do time travel however, will be able to stand up to this uber radiation.
Time travel is performed through ripping through time, stepping into the protective layer of space, and then jumping back into time from Space. This can move you either backwards or forwards, while also having the ability to move yourself to a different location.
Time based myths : you may not go to the future and see your future self, because if you go to the future, your future self will not have had the chance to be your future self, which is you. However, Your future self can come from the future to visit your past self, or you may go visit your past self, because you are your past self’s future self. This makes sense to me, screw you if it doesn’t make sense to you.
Space Again : space, as stated, wraps around, and permeates time to create a protection from outside forces unknown. Space, in my opinion, being a matter-less region, is instead filled with energy, and lots of it. This energy takes the form of heat, and therefore, Radiation. People not able to withstand said radiation will be destroyed, and turned into more energy, and therefore Radiation. Suck on that Hitler.

Some believe the human, and in some cases, non - human, body is made up of various energy centers, known as Chakras. Those who can see chakras say that these fields of energy are like fluid whirlpools of light, each with it's own color, that are constantly moving and changing in complex and near undicipherable patterns. Meny say that Chakras are intake organs, or gateways, of the universal life force all around us, known as chi and prana.

In ancient eastern medicine and belief, Chi/Qi is litterally translated as " lifeforce " or " energy flow. " This is the force keeping the universe itself alive, and is palpable in the air itself.
Prana is the indian [asia indian ] form of chinese Chi / Qi.
The Chakras |
Eastern medicene and culture recognizes eight major Chakras, and multiple smaller ones. These chakras interact and influence thoughts, moods, nd health, as well as powers based around Chi and Prana. Through the intake and assimilation of Chi/Qi and Prana, each chakra rejuvenates it's corresponding body parts.
First Chakra :
The first chakra is located at the rectum, and base of the spine. This is the conjunction point of thousands of nerve endings. This Chakra is ones root, the basic survival chakra. One who has a strong Chi here is confident, grounded, and empowered.
Second Chakra :
This Chakra is located at the base of the third and fourth vertebrae, and just above the pubic bone. This Chakra governs Sex, and reproduction, emotions and creativity. One with strong Chi is creative, imaginative, adaptable, and has a healthy sex life.
Third Chakra :
Located at the Solar Plexus and Navel area, The third Chakra is where other important nerve endings meet. This Chakra deals with identity, domain, and judgement. A strong Chi signifies good health, initiative, and courage.
Fourth Chakra :
Known as the Heart Center, and Located in the middle of the chest, not over the actual Heart, The Fourth Chakra signifies matters of the heart. Strong chi in this area will signify a person with kidness, strog compassio, and selflessness.
Fifth Chakra :
The fifth Chakra is located near the throat. Associated with the lungs, and matters of voice, a strong chi here will signify a person with strong words, and taking responsiblity, and being able to create.
Six Chakra :
Located at the center of the forehead, The sisth Chakra is sometimes called " The Third Eye. " It is considered to be the source of intuition, and relates your capacity to visualize and understand. A strong chi will help manifest visions, ad comprehend reality.
Seventh Chakra :
The seventh Chakra is located at the top of the skull, and relates the integration of personality, as well as spirituality. If this center is strong, a person will have strong spiritual connections, and embrace personal and spiritual problems better.
Eighth Chakra :
The eighth Chakra encompasses all other chakras, ina sort of Aura. It is the luminous energy field around ones self, which surrounds and interpenetrates the entire body. It forms a protective field from negative energy. Weak chi here will create a weaker barrier, making one susceptible to negative emotions and ideas.
Elements Associated with Chakras |
The elements find their power in individual driven from the power of Chakras, and the Chi or Prana coursing through them. Those with naturally high Chakras of a certain type will have a kinship with certain elements.
The First chakra is associated with Fire and Earth.
The Second Chakra is associated with Water.

The Fourth Chakra is associated with Water.
The Fifth Chakra is associated with Air.
