THE ISLAND: GENERAL INFO AND DAILY NEWS THREADGENERAL INFORMATION: - The island metaplot (Part 1) WILL BE HELD in two parts. The first is a series of rps. Please follow the Daily Turn of Events (as listed below, it will be updated EACH DAY), to see what happens every day on the 24 hours. Students can and will be expected to rp with each other or in the open rp. This is what you CAN do:
- Closed RPS - [PRP] on the island involve a few students as they talk and explore the island with each other, possibly ICly sharing clues or hints. They can interact with the current open settings as much as they'd like. - ORPS [ORP] there is currently ONE open rp, and that is the open rp sticky which is held here. Students can talk with each other, interact, branch off into PRPs as they wish, as well as share clues and hints.
- The second daily update is the ON-MINIS SITE mystery solving part. You will have to solve the puzzles on site, with hints given both on site AND on this forum in order to discover the daily password. More information is given below: On Site Mystery Solving Upon posting the the opening arrival rp you will get several key items in your new MY ITEMS inventory. Investigate the items on site as much as you'd like (note: please do not delete your items, you will not get more) - Use the clues given to you by the items both ON SITE and on this guild here ONLY (no clues will be posted anywhere else) to figure out the daily riddle. If you solve the riddle you will be given a piece of a mystery map. After day nine, if you have all NINE map pieces, the final clue will be revealed to you on the map. - If you are having issues using your items or did not get your items pack despite posting, please message chibizoo ON THE MINIPETS SITE. On Guild Mystery Solving - All students are allowed to create as many PRPs as they'd like, but please make sure to check in the 24 hour update to see what is going on! - Students will have a good chance of encountering a battle/prize drop in the PRP threads! - There will be OPEN RPS that occur during specific times of this event. A large announcement will be held for those, be sure to participate in them for mystery clues AND IC rewards. The Battle System ORP BOSS BATTLES - Please check into the ORP for your student's stats and HP. When an ORP battle is engaged please have your student follow the ORP battle rules. ALL HP IS RESET AFTER AND ORP BATTLE UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE,. RANDOM BATTLES - All PRP threads AND ORP threads have a chance of encountering a RANDOM BATTLE - Please take your given student's HP amount, and roll 2 6-sided dice, subtract 6 from the result. Please also check in to see what items your student can use. - During battle, make sure to QUOTE your opponent's posts - After a random battle, your hp is still CARRIED ON. Cheating your HP values will get you temporarily suspended from the event. BEING KNOCKED OUT: - If your student's HP goes to zero, they will dissipate. 12 OOC hours later, your student will appear back at "ground zero" (the portal in the orp), in which case you must post a rp post where they reform. Something is interfering with the students' ability to respawn. Student who are KO'd now dissipate without reforming. LOST AT SEA AND PORTALS Students ---> who don't meet the minimum post req are "confused", and must rp in the ORP until they hit the 4 post requirement before they can pick up a bag. Players ---> Must choose only one student to continue with, any extra students are left behind to watch over the portals.

DAILY EVENT LOG: DAY 0CRASH!
You might have been forcefully ejected from your sinking ship, or maybe you finally washed up shore. Whatever the case, the staff had failed to notice the shallow water and rocks littering the island. Only two shipwrecked boats remained, docked against the island, but every other sign of the voyage from Halloween was gone.
The fog is stifling, choking almost, making everything not immediately within eyesight nearly impossible to see. You try to invoke your natural ability to make yourself feel at ease: it does not work. You can barely walk without feeling a huge amount of exertion.
Upon reaching the shoreline close to the boats, you notice two small areas set up. One of them is locked and demands a password, and the other seems to be littered with a growing mass of students, slowly you gravitate towards that destination. From what you can make out of their faces, even staff members seem a little confused. What exactly is going on? ((DAY ONE ORP IS HERE. Please go visit there for the RP, and to pick up supplies. All orp questions are to be held in that thread, this one is for DAILY updates, so please make sure to check back in here EVERY DAY for updates! If you have a character who missed out on Part 1 and you'd like to enter them, you may RP them in that thread emerging from the portal TiHers can come through (but can't go to Amityville through!), with some complimentary towels and hand soap. ))

DAILY EVENT LOG: DAY 1Had a full 24 hours really passed since they landed on the island? It was hard to tell. What was stranger were the mysterious figures that seemed to appear out of nowhere, shadowed hooded figures wielding unusual weapons. Reapers. But why?
More importantly was the fact that the reapers seemed more interested in monitoring than attacking, as if waiting for someone. Though now was not the time to get goals confused: after all, they were here to rescue Nox, and they would solve the shed, the last clue left by the Amity staff, whether it would cost them their lives and their Fear.
The fog is even more intense after the first 24 hours. Sounds often come out muffled and distorted, sometimes only half a figure could be seen, even if they were standing directly only a few feet in front of someone else. Short of holding hands the entire time, there was no way to monitor exactly where everyone was. ((DAY TWO ORP continues! There will be NO PUZZLE on the site for day two, instead a large orp event will be held HERE, which all students should prolly take a gander! ))

EVENT LOG: DAY 2 It looks like in the chaos of being hit, the opponent dropped something on the ground. Upon unfurling the item, it seems to consist of a worn down, old map AND two pieces of parchment. The first is entirely gibberish, more like a fragment of a piece of something, and the second something akin to ripped piece of a log, or journal. ???'s Log, Day 25 Am still here. Where are the others? If they actually showed up, we could finally grab signals. From Nox: signals need to be activated all at once: I've roughly marked on the map the signal locations. Their hideout will be smoked out easily once the signals are gone. Not much time left before the insanity of the island consumes me too. Permanent insanity? Well, that sure did not sound exciting at all: it looks like along with the disappearance of the figure (and Carthusia), the fog has cleared enough to reveal that the students, the entire time, had been standing on the fork of the pathways on the maps. Had this figure done this deliberately? Was it in all honesty, a trap?
At this point, doing something was better than waiting for the strange reapers lurking about to pick them off one by one until they died of lack of Fear.
It was time to go on a little trek.
(((
OOC:
THE RULES:
- ??? has been defeated! Please post an rp reply to the new clues, choosing WHICH destination you would like to place your character in. Feel free to justify why, their general confusion, or continue posting and interacting in this thread until your character decides what to do. In addition, please include your minipet profile name in your first rp post after this post, so that you can receive the second decoder map piece.
Your student can choose to go to:
- The Lighthouse - The Abandoned Town OR - The Cornfields
Feel free to read the information on all three threads before entering. Simply have your student post in the subforum's ORP to represent the beginning of their journey.
- exclaim For the sake of overcluttering please SPREAD out your student's choices. Ie: if you see a lot of people heading over to the Lighthouse, please be reasonable and move your students towards the other two locations. Remember what the first opponent said about easy pickings all clumped together? - If you have a pre-existing PRP you would like to move, please change the setting of your prp in your next few posts, and mark your PRP as [LOCATION NAME HERE] in the title. We will move the thread respectively for you (characters who are currently in the PRP can exit in and out as they wish). - Feel free to also create new PRPs in the new subforums: you can participate in the subforum prps AND orps. - ONCE YOU LEAVE THE BEACH, you cannot return back. Please read all the rules in each subforum thank you! ))

EVENT LOG DAY 3: MYSTERY HUNT TIME
CRASH! Something has hit the base of operations! The portal is smoking oddly, and for some reason, is not working properly. No students have been seem coming out of the portal since, including after they dissipate.
This grim news sadly is masked by the fact that most students are too far away, treading into unknown territory to really know until it is too late.
Also, one of the abandoned ships is looking even worse than before! It looks like it merits some checking out.
((OOC: MYSTERY HUNT FOR PIECE 3 is live! Good luck!
In addition for students traveling on a path, BE SURE to follow your location's daily turn of events, thank you!
DEATH AND.. beyond? : Starting from this point, if your student runs out of HP its GAME OVER.... or at least until someone fixes the portal!))

EVENT LOG DAY 4: The Insanity
The thick fog is almost unbearable now, enough that not only have students begun to see reapers and semi-solid apparitions, they are now hearing voices all the time, some crying, some calling to them in familiar voices, and others all demanding the same thing. Dying, being released, yearning for company.
Insecurity is very high for students, and they are hitting a point where they don't even know if the people around them are in fact, real? Were these the actual friends they traveled with, or perhaps just apparitions of their own? It is hard to stay on the road, the pinpointed destination is roughly only a day's travel away, but with the onslaught of reapers and the voices, so many voices that echo through each students heads, it looks like the Insanity will claim the students first.
((OOC: Your student is beginning to see things in their post! Along with any posts your students make, you are free to post any sort of "apparitions" or "voices" that talk and cajole the students, making them paranoid, nervous, insecure, or worse. They might not even recognize their friends! All currently ongoing battles and random NPC GM'ed events will be considered happening BEFORE this current turn of events.
Good luck in surviving the day of Insanity, will your student have the mental strength to pull through or will they simply get lost in the fog forever - if they are not already lost in it. ))

EVENT LOG DAY 5: Turning and turning...
A sudden moment of clarity hits all the students, some earlier, some later on during the day, but seems as if the action of the first student has heralded the rest: their bag is missing.
At first, it does not seem like a huge issue, but their backs seem lighter or arms, and the fog seems thicker without a flashlight, the road seems more lost without the pieces of the clues they had spent so long gathering. Yet it makes no sense, some of them just had the flashlights in their hands, where could it have gone...?
As they walk around searching, they finally find, scattered in the fog, pieces of their bag. The flashlight. The note. The pieces.. wait a second... why are there so many pieces. In fact, the further your student walks, the more map pieces there are around them. This CAN'T be right, your student can't even pick up so many pieces, they seem to vanish if the students linger to long in one area.
Even as they struggle to get their belongings back, the fog still stifles them. Something seems odd: are their friends really their friends? Have their friends always had dull, glowing yellow eyes, or was that just a trick of the light? The voices around the students tell them that what they see is indeed true: they can't trust anyone.
((OOC: Please post AT LEAST ONE POST in any location thread with your student losing and then regaining their items. Have them 'seek out' the scattered pieces. In addition, throughout the rps of the day, make sure to maintain the "Insanity" part of the rp. Are the voices real? They seem to be getting louder...
exclaim PLEASE ALSO ROLL THREE SIX SIDED DICE in your RP post. This is mandatory if you would like the next three map clues exclaim The ones you get will be RANDOMised, but hopefully someone in your area has the ones you need and is willing to share... ) !
