I noticed there weren't very many recent threads. I just joined this guild, and am really liking it! biggrin I had no idea there was a guild dedicated to my favorite Anime Convention!!
Aha, but enough about me. What are your cosplay ideas for 2011. I know the cons just 38 days away. (I'm counting down!) And hopefully everyone's finished, or finishing their cosplay projects.
I just finished my Team Rocket Grunt cosplay yesterday. I'll be at pre-reg Thursday wearing it. wink
I'm super excited!!!
If your not cosplaying you can still post here and talk. I'll try to come on everyday to reply to anyone!

Sadly no, no cosplay for me.
Same problems as last year. I'm not very creative and I'm older and a bit overweight. That doesn't add up to very many choices that don't make me look kind of creepy. LOL!
I do enjoy taking pictures of some of the awesome costumes other cosplayers come up with. Some of the costumes last year were amazing.

I don't think being overweight should stop you. I'm chubby myself, but I love cosplaying! whee There's a character out there for everyone!
I wish I had taken more pictures last year. But I had my little brother with me, and sadly couldn't stop as often as I wanted. But I still had a lot of fun regardless! I'm really hoping to actually make some friends at this con. I live in such a small town, and have like no friends. crying lol

(Bellingham area) And yeah, I know there are some large anime characters and some large folks that look good dressed as a smaller character. That's just part of it. I guess it's more about not being good at coming up with costumes. I'm not that shy about wearing a costume and have in the past to some of the local boogies Pictures - If you are interested in copies of the pictures I took last year PM me. I'm no pro - just general shots of the crowds and various costumes I saw - but some of them came out pretty well. I'm arriving in Seattle Thursday and leaving Sunday so if you wanted to arrange a time to meet up I could copy them to a DVD for you.

I would love pictures! Especially of the crowds! I love big groups of cosplayers.
I'm also arriving Thursday. I'm not sure what time exactly, I'll be dressed as a Team Rocket Grunt. Not sure if my comrades are cosplaying on Thursday. :/ I'll have my DS too! Name will be Rocket Grunt (if it will fit lol)

I'll be cosplaying as Saber Lily from Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Codes. I'm almost done with making Excalibur. It has been incredibly challenging. X.X

I didn't have the budget I needed to create the cosplay i wanted i'm going to just stick with my Bleach Shinigami outfit which i usually use for my Sat late night/ lazy Sunday cosplay crying Maybe i'll think of something last minute and low cost but probably not.

I'm not sure who all is going with me this time, but I will be wearing the same Undertaker (Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler) costume that I had last year. I may or may not have my niece and nephew with me again, and if I do, they will probably be the same thing as last year, too. Ichigo (Bleach) and Konan (Naruto).
I'm trying to convince my sister to at least wear my Hinata (Naruto) wig and jacket, but I don't think she is going to, which is sad because the wig makes her look gorgeous.
Edit: I might not get to go now, but if I am there, it will be on Saturday, and I'll have a cookie jar with me. xd

I wanted to cosplay this year since I have not for a couple years but with all the deadlines for college I was facing I just did not have time to make a costume. I tried on my old Black Rose costume but it is way too big now plus carrying that sword is freaking heavy after an hour or so and it gets in the way.
Guess I will just be another person who stops random cosplayers to take pictures! heart

I went as Neku from TWEWY =D Had to carry around my big a** camera set up though >.>
Gaia panel this year was kind of lacking though...
