Everyone who's been here for a while knows Van. [ Mr._Xander_Harris ].
He has an infection in his heart that is spreading.
I just finished praying with him.
The bible says that when people are gathered in his name, things happen. (( I paraphrase ))
Please pray for Van!
Every life is worthy of Life!

I shall pray for him for healing as well as his soul. I shall pray that God shall hold him close to him and care for him.

Dear Lord,
I come to you tonight for healing for my friend Van. Lord you see the infection in his chest and his heart, and Lord I know that you can take it away. I pray that you will bring healing to Van's body, and that the infection will be taken away. You said, "Ask and you shall receive", and I ask this in Jesus' name. You are an all-powerful, all-loving God, and for being there, and for the friendship I have with Van, I thank you. Thank you for blessing my life with this wonderful human being, though we are oceans apart. Praise be to you.

Damion_Dusk Thanks man. This really means a lot in such a troubling time even if Van doesn't believe. Thank you for posting this. It means a lot to us all. Van means the world to a lot of people. He's a good and honest man. And for that he has my respect.

I do not Pray Often.
I have done it once or twice in my life.
Once, Where i was so young i did think something like a god was real, And the other time i burst out praying for no reason. It was pretty creepy.. But in that second one i made, i talked about Van for a good part of it. I do not know if god is real or not and i mean it when i say sometimes i wish there wasn't. But the only reason i would ever pray is for the people i care about. Even if it does nothing or helps no one, it makes me realise how much i care. That i would go against my own Beliefs (Or Non-Beliefs, whatever is best) for the people i love most. And Things.. (In that Long period of time that i burst out Praying, I was talking about my dog for a while too. o_O Yeh i know, strange.) But i was really depressed during that time. And if i had to pray, if it was life or death, i would Pray for Van and My friends.
So because its for Van, i will pray this one time. Just for him. Because he means that much to me and much MUCH more.

Heavenly Father, I ask that you look upon your servant named Van. Please help heal Van from the infection that is in his heart. Van's suffering is bringing his beloved friends to seek your help. Help them to believe in you Heavenly Father. Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Luke 11:10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. We ask this in Jesus name for a miracle to heal Van.~Amen!

His condition has worsened. Van's now under constant watch. His heart's beats aren't steady and the doctors don't expect him to make it past the week's end. Van's strong, and with our love and support I believe he can overcome anything.

This is a chance for God to be glorified.
Lord, I ask that you would expose Van's very heart, soul, and mind to the real, living reality of Truth, You. Still, if he so chooses not to come to you...I pray that You would be with him in this dark time. You are the God of Peace. You are the Comforter. So I pray that, even if it is to be that he does not decide to know You, that he rejects Truth, that you would give him peace and comfort. And if, Lord, he passes from this world, please give comfort to his family and his friends, whoever they may be. Because all people are Your children, even if they are not part of Your family. I ask, as a member of Your family, as an heir to Christ's victory and promises, that You show Yourself in all of this. On Van's behalf, as Moses in the wilderness for the Hebrews and as the Holy Spirit for believers. Please? Please have mercy and bring comfort to the people involved with this. Please give wisdom to the doctors. Please, let your presence be known in this...please. May you be glorified. Thank you. Thank you for every blessing you pour out upon us. Sometimes they are hard for people to see--but they're still there. Each and every blessing. You are good and holy, God. Thanks for everything you do.
