Life goes on night after night.
The same monotonous cycle from sun down to sun up.
But for the lead male in this story, life will never be the same.
A dark secret lingers on his tongue, runs strong through his veins.
A secret he has to hide every day of his life.
But when the urge to shift becomes to much,
When the moon has risen high in the night sky,
Who will he hide from?
When the voices in his head can no longer be silenced?

Life goes on day after day.
The same monotonous cycle from sun up to sun down.
But for the lead lady in this story, life soon takes a drastic turn.
In a moment of curiosity, she follows the strange male into the woods when she overhears strange mutterings coming forth from his mouth.
Feels a deep ache to soothe what is ailing him.

But her kindness soon leads her 'into the wolf's den', so to speak.
The lady watches the male shift when the moonlight washes over his skin.
Hears the howl that tears up from his throat.
And then it is to late.
He spots her, he runs.
The next day at school she is confronted by the male,
Told that she is to keep silent about what she had seen the night before.
But deep inside, the voices in his head whisper that a do gooder like her could never keep such a secret.
So that evening, when the leading lady walks home from school, he steals her away.

The only witness is the Goth girl.
The one no one would believe anyways, had the story been believable.
Will the goth help the fair lady from the evil wolf's clutches?
Is the wolf all that evil, or is he just a lonely horribly misunderstood young man?
Is the lady as much of a sweet flower as she seems?
Only time and you, dear writer, can tell.

[-Rules-]

One. PM all profiles to me with the title of the character you are taking. IE. Lady In Red, if you are wanting the main female role.
Two. Please be literate. I'll accept semi-literate too, but TRY to use proper grammar, decant spelling, and full sentences. Not necessarily paragraphs, but perhaps three+ sentences to a post. If you would care to me extremely literate, I'd be as happy as a little lark.
Three. Cursing, Violence, Romance. It is all encouraged, but in moderation.
Four. Must I continue? We all know the rules.
Abide by them.
Five. If you want to be a filler character that is mythical, PM me first with creature and quick description of how they would do well in the story. And then I'll decide yay or nay.

[You probably want a sob story, right? Here's a good one for you. My mom killed herself when I was three, right in front of me. Blew her brains out while crying over the kitchen sink. Dad came home and went nuts, beating up her corpse and sobbing like a little kid. He was never right in the head after that.

The LAPD came and took him and my mom's body away. They put me into foster care when it became certain that my dad was off his rocker. I got shuffled from foster home to foster home, and got a reputation as a troublemaker. I'm not really a troublemaker, I just like watching people look ridiculous. When I finally turned eighteen, I was turned out on the streets of Los Angeles with five hundred dollars in my pocket and wishes of good luck for the future. Not knowing what else to do, I went to the train station and caught the first one leaving. I made my way up the West Coast that way until I ended up in Tacoma, Washington.

That was when I first saw Anika Karlsson. She was shopping in a little boutique and looked like a friggin' angel. I couldn't believe there was anyone that perfect in the world. I followed her for the rest of the day until she finally left Tacoma to go back to wherever she came from.

I finally got a job at a warehouse shifting freight around. I worked there for a year until they transferred me to Seattle. I happened to run into Anika Karlsson again at a grocery store and couldn't believe my luck. We chatted for a little bit and I found that she was way smarter than me. The next day, I enrolled in Seattle Community College.
]
[Guess I'm technically a sophomore, since I've been taking classes for a year and a half. I work at a warehouse loading and unloading trucks.]
[Only part of my backstory is true. Try and guess which parts.]

Tikanni walked stiffly away from the school, he'd had a hard time concentrating in his night class. The voices in his head kept whispering to him, mocking him, telling him to run from the moon. Fists clenched, he shook his head, "I'm not running from anything anymore. I've embraced her." He growled back, though to the outside world it would appear as if he was talking to himself. Which he was, now wasn't he? A shudder rippled through him as the sun dipped lower in the sky. Lifting a hand he shoved his fingers into his hard, tugging fretfully on the long ends. "No! Stop it. Just shut up." Tikanni's voice hissed out. Stepping off the sidewalk and onto the grass, he crossed swiftly towards the far end, heading for the forest. Pain spread across his features and he began to visibly shake as he moved.

The day was uneventful for Anika. She had class in the morning and then had to go to work. The blond worked at the florist nearby: she hated it. You might wonder why she'd be working there. Well, she was forced into it: not that it was something new. Her whole life felt like it was forced on her. Of course she could have rebelled...right? Anyway, enough about that.

Anika was done with work and now she was on her way to her night class. Today was a long day for her: one class starts at 10am and the last class ends at 10pm. It might not have been the best schedule, but that's how it ended up. There is no use complaining about it now. At some point someone walked by her. It wasn't an odd occurrence but he happened to start talking around that time. Even though she didn't actually hear what he said; it still made her stop to turn around. The young man seemed to be upset about something and walked off toward the forest. This was a bit odd. It wasn't that weird but something still tugged at her. She felt the urge to follow him: to see what was wrong.

As she started to walk into the grass, Anika noticed that he seemed to be shaking a bit: that couldn't be good. The blond started to walk a bit fast as the sun was about to disappear from sight. Her heart was racing and her mind was foggy. Why was she doing this? Who goes chasing after a strange man into the woods when it is getting dark outside? It sounds dangerous more for her than him. If he was really having some kind of problem then he would have gone somewhere besides the woods right? Still, her feet kept following after him.

By the time she reached the forest, she picked up her speed in order not to lose him. One might wonder why she didn't call out to him before he even made it to the edge of the forest. It was like she just wasn't thinking about all at the moment. Her blond curls bounced gently against her back as she got closer. Then Anika stopped suddenly. After all, she was quite close now. For some reason, she didn't want to get caught and didn't know what to do next.

His pace turned brisk as the wind blew clouds over the moon, blanking out the sky. The forest turned dark, almost pitch black. But the lack of light did not detour the male's stride, it didn't even slow him down. His mutterings loudened the father away from the town that he got. Traffic was little more then a faint hum by the time Tikanni stopped abruptly. His flesh crawled, hands jerking up and into his snow white hair. Tugging on the ends, the male cursed, his voice suddenly raised two bars and the words, 'I'll change when I'm good and ready. The moon doesn't control me anymore!' caught on the breeze, pushing all scents and sounds away from Tikanni.
Tearing at his clothing now, he seemed to be going mad, speaking too fast for the ear to catch, ripping at his shirt as if it were causing him physical pain. Walking again, a trail of clothing in his wake, Tikanni came to a small clearing and, arms outstretched, tossed his head back. "I'll wait until you are ready." He called out. The paleness of his skin contrasted wildly with the red tattoos that swirled over his neck, down his chest and back, across his arms. His very skin appeared to vibrate on his body, beginning to pucker and bulge around the ribs, down his spine.

Anika was bewildered to say the least. What the man said when he stopped was just plain weird: wanting to change on ones own terms is fine; but what did that have to do with the moon? Maybe it was a type of God he believes in. Whatever the case was, she didn't really have time to ponder that part of what he said. Then the guy proceeded to walk while tearing off his clothes. The blond just stood there in shock for a moment. What kind of ritual was this?

It didn't take her long to hurry after him: picking up his tattered clothes on the way. At this point in time Anika felt like she was following the breadcrumbs to a dangerous place: it was an odd thing indeed. Her big blue eyes fixated on the others snow white hair most of the time. It was the only thing that seemed to shine through the darkness of the woods. Even so, it seemed that she didn't even notice that it was so dark: probably because she was quite distracted.

Anika wondered if the man was going mad; after all, he was mumbling to himself and stripping in the words; among other things. When he stopped in the clearing and uttered something else: she stopped as well. A delicate hand was placed on the trunk of a nearby tree: she didn't dare step out into the clearing. The young college student didn't want to interrupt him. Well, it was probably more about her wanting to see what happened next: she was curious.

As he stood there basked in the moonlight, Anika looked over the red tattoos that decorated his pale skin. It made her want to figure out what they stood for: tattoos always had a meaning or purpose. She didn't get a chance to ponder about that either. Not long after the man spoke again, his skin started to act funny. It started to make her feel extremely uncomfortable. The blond pulled the hand, filled with his clothes, to her chest while leaning closer to the tree: almost as if she was trying to hide. For some reason, she felt like she couldn't leave from that spot: like she had to stand and watch.

Dennis was feeling a little bit too much like a stalker at the moment. As the wind tugged at his coat, he snugged it closer around him, trying to keep as much warmth as possible. Even after a year of living in Seattle, he still wasn't used to the cooler climate. He kept the blonde curled head in sight as he picked his way over the forest floor.

He hadn't intended to be in this situation, but couldn't help himself. When Anika had come out of the florist shop she worked in, he couldn't resist seeing where she was going. He'd followed her, just enjoying being able to see her. It seemed a miracle that he'd found her again by just randomly taking a different route home from his job than usual. Dennis had spotted her in the window of the florist shop and was absolutely floored. The most perfect woman in the world was only across the street behind a door.

Rather than doing what any normal man would have (which was go into the flower shop and flirt with her, eventually landing a date), he'd gotten too nervous and instead had walked up and down the street, sneaking peaks at her as he walked by. She'd been so beautiful, the way she smiled at customers or concentrated on arranging the displays of flowers. The whole time, he kicked himself mentally for being such a creeper.

Now he was concerned. He'd seen the crazy guy rip off his clothes and Anika gather them up. Was this some sort of weird rendezvous? Maybe he wasn't as crazy as he thought he was for stalking the young woman. Maybe they were crazier than he was. But it didn't look like a rendezvous. Anika just seemed happy to watch from a distance. If this was foreplay, it was either the weirdest foreplay on the planet or he was jumping to conclusions.

Dennis gagged quietly as the other guy's skin began to ripple and crawl. It was downright unnatural and sickening. He'd made a sort of little promise to jump in and protect Anika if things went bad, but he didn't know what to make of that.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if he turned out to be a werewolf or something like that? Fat lot of good I'd do Anika against a supernatural being like that then.

He gripped the trunk of a tree and tried to stay calm. This was a lot more difficult than it looked.

For a moment everything seemed to freeze, the wind hushed, the world went dark, and then the next moment the wind sped up, tugging at Tikanni's hair, blowing the clouds out of the moons way. Tikanni began to shift, his form lurching, bones stretching, crackling as they moved. He seemed to almost burst out of his skin, fur rippling over him in an instant. It was over almost too quickly, barely a breath would have been uttered in the time the whole morph took. Standing in the place Tikanni had habited was a wolf, his fur the strangest mixture of silver and red. His muzzle looked almost blood stained, but it was simply fur. Lifting his nose towards the moon, Tikanni let out a deep, heart broken howl. It echoed throughout the tree's, reverberation in his chest.

Anika didn't notice there was someone following her. It was a bit odd because she is more aware in general. The reason why she probably didn't realize that someone was pacing back and forth when she was working was simple: she was busy today at the shop. It also didn't take long to walk from work to campus: maybe she didn't have time to notice then. Even when walking through the woods, she was too focused on the weird man in front of her to pay attention anything else around her. It was surprising that she didn't trip over a branch yet.

Her jaw dropped slightly when the mysterious guy began to shift. It wasn't a pretty sight to say the least; but her blue orbs were glued on him. Anika was rooted to the spot: frozen. The only thing that made it somewhat bearable was how fast it happened. It was almost like the guy turned into a wolf like magic instead of transforming.

The howl snapped her out of her trance. It made her whole body shiver as the tattered clothing fell to the ground: fingers now covering her mouth. Anika took a small step back. It wasn't that she was particularly afraid of him; after all he was still part human right? Just because he was a werewolf doesn't mean that he will attack her if she is seen...right? Anika hated assumptions and was trying her best not to freak herself out by coming to some weird conclusion. Then again, this was a werewolf. You would think she would be more surprised or concerned that there are werewolves running around: maybe it just didn't totally hit her yet.

Anika took another step back subconsciously. It was probably best to sneak away in this situation. As long as he didn't find out then it wouldn't be a big issues...probably. Unfortunately the branch, which she didn't notice was right where she was stepping, cracked. Before she realized it, a sharp gasp escaped from her pink lips. s**t!
