This is another Past RP, this one will end right before Len meets the DoC. about a year after Rin vanishes. For Rin, she can end her parts when she vanishes or she can RP here with someone else what she was doing when vanished when we get to that point. It will start with Len's second time meeting with Amanda. Len was spending the day shopping for a birthday gift for Rin, so was without her, a rare thing for him. It was taking so long because he just couldn't find the right gift. He wanted something perfect but nothing he had seen yet seemed perfect. He goes into a café for a short brake and gets a tea and a piece of banana cake. After he sits down he takes a long breath in then lets out a long sigh.
"Long day is long." He whispers then eats up the banana cake. Then he sips his tea all the while trying to think of something. 'New bow? no, she doesn't need one. Oranges... that would be a lame birthday gift. Sheet music paper? ' "This is too hard!" he shouts. Then looks around, people were looking at him.
"Hehe, Sorry." He rubs the back of his head and then stands up and walks out, being a little embarrassed now. But as he leaves he sees a flyer on the window. It was about a show that was going to start in a few minutes. On it he saw the name 'Amanda'. He knew he heard that name somewhere before and was now curious. He goes back to his table and grabs the empty cup and orders some more tea, then goes back to sit and waits for the show.

Peeking out from the back room where she was waiting to go on stage, the young regular scanned the crowd. She'd told a couple of her friends and family that she had landed a gig at a little café, but she wasn't sure if anyone was going to show up. Her parents had wanted to come, but were busy with their new eggs, and Adrian really wasn't interested. While she was looking, though, to her surprise she spotted a familiar yellow faefox. It took her a moment to place him, when she suddenly remembered that night at the club, a couple months before. He was the cute boy who she'd talked to briefly, from the band that night!
She really didn't have time to wonder if he'd come because he remembered her, or if it was just chance, before the café's manager waved to her from across the room. Taking a deep breath, she gave herself one more glance in the mirror to check that everything was ready, and then strode out the door and towards the stage.

As soon as Len saw Amanda come on stage he knew right away why he recognized the name. A bright smile graces his face. He had wanted to hear her voice again ever since that day. And now he got to, and not only her voice, but her singing. His mind completely left what it was pondering on all day about, the silly worries engulfed by the music.
He's eyes never left the stage while she sang and he found himself lost in it. The world around him was just a white void at the moment. Then he realized, this is how he felt whenever Rin sang, or Miku, even Kaito. This is the first time it felt like this outside those 3. He was totally lost in the world the song brought about. It was a warm feeling. It was a gift.
"That's it, a song!" He quickly covered his mouth, then slouched down in his chair, hoping no one noticed her rather loud statement over the music. Face a little red, he just stairs into his tea cup until the song ends.

As she settled herself on the stage and the music started, Amanda kept finding her eyes straying towards Len... She yanked them away, trying to focus past the butterflies in her stomach. Which were definitely from stage fright, absolutely. And then it was time for her to start singing.
As she got into the groove of her set, she let the music pull her along, followings its lead, everything else fading away. It always happened that way, she loved it, and she knew she did her best singing when it was just her and the songs. The time flew by, and before she knew it it was time for her to take a break. She bowed to the scattered applause, and then jumped off the stage. One of the servers was waiting with a glass of water, which she took with a smile. As she sipped it, she looked around the room, trying to find the fox again, wondering if he'd stayed. She had a little while before she was supposed to start singing again, maybe they could talk a bit, she could find out what he'd been up to.

When Len sees Amanda leaving the stage he sits back up and waves a little. Wondering if she would ever remember him. But then, wanting to hear her voice up close, he gets up and walks over to her. But as he did so he was wondering why. Why, when she was just singing. Len wanted it to be directed to him, be something said for him, to him alone. How selfish that seemed, yet it didn't stop him from wanting it.
"Hi. Again. Um, if you remember me. That was really pretty." He smiles, but then thinks to himself how lame he must of just sounded. Like some little kid. He should have said something other then pretty, why did he use such a child's word.

At the voice, Amanda turned, and she gave the fox a bright smile. "Oh, hi! We met at that club, after you sang, right?" So he remembered her, too! "Thanks, I love singing. I was worried it came out a little squeaky, it's my first real gig, you know, so..." She blushed a bit, embarrassed that she was babbling to him. "I'm sorry, it must not seem that big a deal to you, if you're singing in clubs and all."
