"So, do they always leave you to pack everything up?"

The little regular was leaning on the stage, her eyes on Len as a small smile tugged at her lips. She'd been there for some time, but he'd been too busy putting away the group's equipment to notice her, and so she'd finally spoken up. She came here occasionally, the music was decent, but she'd been particularly impressed with the group tonight. The other two had left right after they were done, but that was fine. The faefox who'd been left to clean up was cute, and she was glad for a chance to talk to him.

Len quickly looks up over at the girl, having just grabbed the last wire to the sound amp box. A kry made little device that used magic to carry the sound waves to the far side of the room.

"Oh, Jody normally helps, but he had a date tonight. Rin is always running off afterwards, but she is the one that gets us our gigs so I can't complain. I hope you like the set, it had a new song in it that Jody help me write." He smiles a little, but then looks behind him.

"I should get going, Rin gets kind of cranky when dinner is late."

She cocked her head to the side, before jumping up onto the stage. "Would you like some help? I could carry something for you," she offered, not willing to let him go just yet. "I'm Amanda, by the way. So how do the three of you know each other? Friends, family, what?" She'd guessed that he and the other faefox - Rin, he'd said her name was - were probably siblings, they looked so much alike. She was still curious, though.

"Amanda," pretty name he thinks. "These wires really are all that's left now." He smiles, she was really cute and just her talking voice seemed a little musical, it was nice to hear. "Oh, Rin is family, my sister. We are twins. My dad use to joke that our eggs came at the exact same moment. She is my life, I'd be nothing without her. She is the one that gets us our gigs and really I can't sing to save my life without her there singing with me. I really wouldn't do anything I think if she wasn't there telling me to do it." He laughs a little. "As for the faesquirrel, Jody is like family, we have known him since we were all still babies..." He is interrupted in what he was about to say next when he hears Jody's voice.

"Never again am I going on a blind date that Rin sets up! That girl was ugly." Jody complains as he runs back in and jumps on Len's back, causing the faefox to step forward a bit almost right off the stage, before getting his balance back and putting his hands behind him to hold Jody up so his weight doesn't make them both fall over.

"Get off me." He's voice still seemed calm, even with the bit of annoyance it now had in it.

"But my feet hurt." The faesquirrel whines some more, but then a big smile comes on his face when he sees Amanda. "Now, that is one hot looking faekat. Why couldn't my blind date look like her?"

Len blushes a little, the rose color peeking through his light fur a little. He shoves Jody off him then turns away, picking up the wires he dropped when Jody jumped on him.

"Her names Amanda..." He looks back at her.

"Amanda. Cute name." Jody smiles a little then turns his attention to Len. "Oh! I heard Miku is in town!" He pokes Len's side and the faefox blushes again, a bit darker this time. "You should ask her out, you know you want to." Len glares a little at Jody, wishing he would stop teasing him about it. And annoyed at how he was acting like Amanda wasn't still there.

"Sorry." Len says to Amanda.

"We need to go find her! Now!" Jody says and grabs Len's tie, pulling him a little.

"Hey! Knock that off!" He's voice had a hint of anger in it now. Jody lets go and then grabs the wires out of his hands, the last of the equipment.

"Fine fine. Kiss this cutesy fangirl good night then meet up with me. Miku was at the icecream shop down the road last I heard, so meet me there." Jody runs out, the boy could never stay still long. And out of sight Jody quickly becomes. Len just stands there for a moment, looking at his hands. He wanted to see Miku, even though he could never seem to get her to see him the way he wanted her to.

"Sorry." He almost whispers to Amanda. "Maybe..." He looks up at her but then doesn't know how to finish. He liked hearing Amanda's voice, and wanted to see her again. But he wasn't understanding the feelings he was having for what they really were, not at the moment, he still had too big a crush on Miku. "Well, Maybe another time and we'll see you." ... what was that? He thought, the sentence didn't even make since.

"Hi, you must be Jodi," the little regular tries to reply after Len introduced her, but the faesquirrel talks right over her, ignoring her completely. As he keeps treating her like she's invisible, her cheerful expression starts to fade, turning slowly into an annoyed scowl. It's lucky Jodi dashes off when he does, because Amanda was about to ready to bite his head off.

"'Cutesy fangirl'? I came to congratulate you on a good show, as one professional to another!" she shouts after him, now frustration adding to her anger as she can't chew him out like she wants to.

She spins, about to take some of it out on Len, but then sees his expression. He had tried to make his friend be less rude... with an effort she shoves her anger down. "It's all right," she says, and is a little surprised to find she means it.

As her anger fades, and she processes what Jodi actually said, she tries to ignore the rising disappointment that Len's already got someone he's interested in. For a moment, she'd thought... Well, it wasn't important. "If you keep playing in the clubs around here, I'm sure we'll run into each other again," she replies, with a small smile. "Maybe we'll even end up performing at the same club sometime."
