On December os 2010, 21, I went to an event called GKYM Vision Conference 2010. I never thought it was a revival because my church isn't exactly what you'd call a church.
Anyways because of that event, I've been clean from porn and masterbation for 3 months, prior I did it all the time. I was so God-centered, I was less ashamed of Gog.
But now, I've come back to my habits and now Im just really miserable and my spiritual life is dead even though I keep telling myself Bible verses like 1st John 1:9. It doesnt help me. It makes me more sad actually.

If you guys are willing, please pray that I'll be clean from this addiction. I hate it so much and I know God could've used me in that time I spent sinning.

I'm just praying to God that He'll help us to come back to him wholeheartedly.

We should not be surprised when we are tempted, even Jesus was tempted himself. Why should it be any different for us. We have to recognize who the temptation is from, and how to combat it.

I threw away all my pornography. Try getting rid of the things that are tempting you, knowing that they are bad for you and should be avoided. Look up other people on google to find out what they did to beat it, smile

That verse helps me remember that it is not in MY strength, but in CHRIST'S strength alone. heart

Read matthew 6, there it tells how many tend to try to serve 2 masters but by doing that you hate one and love the other. Reading verses like this helped me because i've had the same addiction. God knew mankind ould sin and didnt want to control us so he made a plan, we could choose a path and be in his blood or not. His love is precious hes like a father in this way, hestill loves us in our sin and just wants to forgive us and allow us to take his hand and let him guide us on a different path. So we would walk from death into life. Its not our actions that save us but God's. But how can we let God guide us as a father and shepherd if we take a different path then him. God doesnt change His plans to match ours. To trully walk in Him and have a relationship with him experiencing his love we need to let him take our hand and guide us in his blood even when we mess up.

I struggled with porn and masterbation but when i saw these things I cried , telling him thank you for his forgiveness and saying i give everything for him so when i mess up i still get up and learn from it to grow. Forgiveness is not an excuse but a chance to let us grow, making no exceptions for ourselves but knowing we can learn more and more. Its not about our actions, yes. but ,its about trustiing him in the end even when you have messed up. This gave me the will to stop because he has more for me than that, a real love not fake like masterbation and things from the world.

The path of forgiveness is not perfection.
the path of forgiveness is a path of change, love and learning to grow when you have messed up ((knowing the path you walk in the end no matter what happens)) knowing everything in your life is forgiven.That your the lost sheep and your willing to let the shepherd find you and guide you. Because God's love can become precious in that way and many ways.

I am praying for you also and glad you are growing it just helps to hear some things at times ;D , we are all brothers and sisters in this way as princes and princesses but remember you have the power to rebuke the devil because your in God's Blood. Even the angels serve us because the angels are servants of the king and we are princes and princesses.
