At 12:42 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), February 25, 2011, Gaians were conflicted with a terrible scare when Gaia logged them out and when they went to log back into their account, they were unable to. This Simultaneous log out also affected other users in different ways.
Affect 1: You were Automatically Logged out of Gaia with out Consent.
Affect 2: Gaian Towns Crashed.
Affect 3: Friends List Seemed to have Completely Cleared out Gaian Friends, Destroying the Social Network if something so terrible had actually happened. The Friends List appeared to be wiped clean.
Affect 4: Towns Crashed, You were able to access My Gaia Tab for a moment, but when you clicked to check in for messages, You were sent back to the Log In Page, as if you had logged out. Attempts to log back in until 1:00 AM were Futile. Recorded time of being able to log back in through personal Experience was 1:15 AM
Many Gaians had thought that they had been Phished, Banned, or Hacked. Thankfully none of this was the Case....Or so we Hope.
