Hi there everyone :] I'm new to this guild and can't wait to start role-playing Just a quick question though:
Can there be more than one person per act? Example- There's already an illusionist, yet I wanted to make a character who was also an illusionist Is that aloud?

Yep, totally fine with me ^-^
We'd prefer if there was a variety, but some of the acts aren't on often or at all, so it doesn't matter that much.
If you need any more help, don't be afraid to ask~

This is a silly question, but, why must the posts be in the Past Tense? I role play like that, but, I'm just wondering. ^_^

Not silly at all ^^ really, I just think it goes a bit smoother than writing in present tense. I do both, but I think that writing in present tense can be a bit more tricky to some people. I just figured we'd stick to the basics ^^

Would it be possible to add a "How long have you been at the Circus" line to the character profiles? I'm having a hard time figuring out who my characters should already know and who they should be introducing themselves to.

*shrugs* Works for me. How about I do you one better and make a huge list for all the characters with all their information categorized? Sound better? Worse?

Would it be possible for someone to draft up the actual blood contract the entertainers and workers are made to sign? I assume there would be a clause saying harm cannot come to Alistair unless the Ring Master wills it. That way angered creatures couldn't get pissed at him for sleeping with someone else and then try to murder him in his sleep but still allows for whatever rough play he desires. Is there an exit clause to the contract also? Like, can people ever leave? Are there parameters for where the subjects can travel or is it possible to run away? Is there a way to nullify the contract via violation of terms either on the pet or Alistair's side?
...Do you guys want to just tell me what you want in it and I'll draft it? sweatdrop

Gee, thanks a lot Scy. First you kill Kassy, then you muddle up my brain and make me realize I'm totally awful with legal jargon....
You can type it up, if you feel compelled to. Ali's residents can't leave unless he gives them permission, or rids them of their contract to him. And all the other stuff you said, 'cept they can't leave. Because I kinda explained that one a second ago. Damn, I'm looping my sentences again...
Just do what you think is logical, then me and Kitty will read it and see what needs to be changed ^^

I feel kind of odd asking this but I'm going to anyway. How do I know which Mansion my character should be in? Or is it just that I chose whichever one I want?

Dem0nL0rd Lucy I feel kind of odd asking this but I'm going to anyway. How do I know which Mansion my character should be in? Or is it just that I chose whichever one I want?
Basically it depends on the act, such as if your act involves a more sultry form of entertainment, such as escort, or certain kind of dancer, you would go to the house of sin.
If your character is wanting to get into fights, battle and spar with others, then the Rose estate.
And if neither these two and is a more simple, or just merely not either of those categories, then its Allistair's one. Those two are there to help spread it out, so that characters who wish to spar, or service can do so. Characters can visit other mansions, and obviously free to roam the town (Cirque de circo) But asked to be respectful
Also, when starting, you can have your character as either already a member, just joining the household, or like more recent characters, roaming the towns and it end up caught tricked or asked to join ^^
Hope any of this was helpful ^^ Feel free to ask, it was a perfectly reasonable question. x
