Quite simple: If you really enjoy seeing the person, you like them.
When you truly love someone, not a day goes by you want to talk to them, see them smile, hear their voice, feel their touch. In short you need them in your life, but not in an obsessive way.
Been there. Many times. With the same person.

I don't know if this applies to other people or just me.
But back when I was a kiddo and I fell head over heels I would have a certain feeling in my chest, a sort of warm and heavy feeling any time the person I was in love with said certain things to me.
