After a late night conversation we thought we'd create a thread to talk about what others did and/or thought when they had a bad case of insomnia and how long did it last....

xd *super glomps everyone in the guild and wanders off like nothing happened* =^.^=....now that I have that out of the way...First of all I've been awake for approxamatly 38hrs and counting. I've found that I've become quite hyper and adding in something to drink has also made it quite an interesting experience. I find that I want to go into a laughing fit just from thinking of single words that I say in my mind over and over.

The longest strait I've ever been awake was..3 days I believe. Though I've gone weeks without proper sleep, but that was accompanied by quite a bit of passing out. I mostly tried to keep myself alert, I found myself to be incredibly paranoid. I would never turn my back to a door or window. I also avoided corners. And I couldn't eat because I felt sick. When I would get bored or something, I would play video games or read.

I remember on a couple of occasions (perhaps more, as I tried to do this once a week for a whole semester) I was up for 50 hours straight. That is my standing record. Anyway, one of those times I slipped into... Something that was like a waking dream in a lot of ways, but no visual elements. I was walking to school in what I had in my head to be a post-apocalyptic setting.

48 hours is my top standing, luckily it was summer and I was too young to have a job. Granted ive been like sicanne and gone for a few weeks without proper sleep.
