Personality:

Everett is a pretty easy going and well mannered guy. He has a quick temper especially when people tell him he should quit smoking. He enjoys to observe and think on is own. In crowds he feels uncomfortable but hides the fact and either vacates the vacinity or will hang back on the edges. He's a bit of a ladies man and will flirt from time to time given he has a sembelance of privacy or time where he can speak his mind without the worry of eavsdropping ears.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? He wants to learn control with his temper and various other skills he may need in the future. He's interested in any kind of physical and competative club. He also has a interest in maternal classes such as a FACE class. He wants to be unlike his father in every way. If someone was a problem with it he won't stand for teasing.

FEAR: Berserk: Everett goes into a fit of rage for 1-2 turns where he is temporarily stronger, faster, and more vicious. This can backfire though for he will attack the first person he sees. His eyes will glow a crimson red, and he is forced to shapeshift into his wolf form, signifying the ability is active. He won't stop his ruthless attacks until either the foe is defeated or it wears off. He has little control over this and he can go berserk when he is intensely angered or frustrated at someone or something. He wishes to find a way to control this so he may use this at will one day in the future.

Natural Ability: Empathy: Everett can sense other people's emotions and feel them as his own. When he feels someone's angered or frustrated emotions it takes a toll on his body and makes him irritable. When he feels sadness he will usually sit alone and be by himself. Few people have ever seen him cry. [This is probably why he's been diagnosed as "Bi-polar"]

Race Ability: Shapeshifting: Changing his form into that of a very large dark red and black wolf.

Physical Description: About 6'2". He has dark red wolf ears and a wolf tail that are always visible.
True Form: He is a overly large, quadrupedal, dark red wolf. His markings seem to mimic his clothing as well as his personality. A few of his clothes still are on his form such his hat and tie. He is much like any other werewolf and can still speak in wolf form in Halloweentown.
Eye Colour: Forest Green
Hair Colour/Style: His bangs are like Sephiroth's from Final Fantasy VII but his hair is cropped shoulder length in the back. Deep reddish black in color.
Skin Colour: Slightly tanned
Clothing Style/Colours: Black vest (open and exposing his bare chest). Black Tripp pants or cargos that stop at his knee. He wears his signature pin stripe fedora with a skull pin in the ribbon and a striped black and red tie. He has a bad habit of smoking and has been trying to quit for years but just can bring himself to do so.
Extra: He has black tattoos that run down from his eyes in slightly curved lines.

Background: Everett has always been a problem child. He got into trouble a lot when he was younger because of his tenancy to get into fights. His mother was wary on sending him off to school until later because of this. His father was an alcoholic and used to beat him which probably led to his anger and probably the main reason he started smoking.

Everett wishes to be nothing like his father and has tried multiple times to stop his smoking addiction but just can't bring himself to do so. He wishes to perhaps in school find a way to control his temper and his addictive personality.

Random Facts:
* His tail is extra sensitive and also his hot spot.
* He is afraid of pumpkins.
* He is anemic.
* He is "bipolar" [See FEAR].

His control over his empathy is terrible. He wants to get a better handle on it because they can truly screw up his day and make things worse. If someone in the dorm next to him is having a terrible day because of let's say lover's quarrel he will become depressed and less motivated until he gets away from the person. He tends to stay away from people because of this but he hates being alone.

Quirks? Well other that his empathy he can be an a*****e depending on his own emotions (if he can ever feel them). He tries to play cool and stays quiet but inside is a turmoil. He also has a habit of cracking his knuckles which gets on a lot of people's nerves. The most noticeable one I suppose is when he gets nervous or embarrassed is his eyes get lighter and turn gold. i suppose that could make relationships hard for him. He's pretty good at hiding his discomfort except for his changing eyes.

Can you elaborate on how his FEAR would be used in a battle? Can he redirect his empathy back at people or anything? The FEAR abilities should be like a move used in an RPG.. and something that the student isn't constantly in use of. It's something they actively 'use' or 'activate' in a fight.. or for their future as a scary being of Halloween.

I had some trouble with developing the FEAR for my student and found this summary of FEAR really helpful. Also taking a look at other quests.

The shape shifting aspect of his character is a non-issue. He IS a werewolf after all and that seems to be what ALL werewolves do and you already have it noted that his true form is that of a large wolf. I think empathy, in your description of it, should be his natural ability (something he has going on constantly and he cannot turn off) and then you can pick a battle move to be his fear. This can be a physical move (such as clawing, biting, etc) or maybe he can use his FEAR to redirect that empathy back at his foe?

Sorry if it seems like a lot. Just trying to help you solidify his character idea.

It sounds good! maybe he can combine his empathy with a physical move? Like his feeding off of their emotions in a battle gives him that beserker rage, etc. His frustrations at being bombarded by emotion constantly sort of build up and come to a head, sending him into a rage which boosts his stats for 1 turn?

I could totally see him sort of snapping since he is so affected by emotion all the time!

I just want you to know that the empathy thing is very cool in a werewolf character.. I have never seen any with that power before and I think it has good potential!!

Your edits look great and I love that he will just attack whatever he sees! It leaves tons of room for improvement through the school's programs!
