Welcome, students, to Sakurai High School.
It is a normal school where students learn what they desire to do in life, while having fun along the way. It is in a traditional Japanese high school setting, so there are basic rules for the school, special club activities, and a special calander. Basic rules for Japanese schools:
1. Upon entering the school, you must find your locker, and change your shoes from your outdoor shoes to the classroom shoes stored inside. Vice versa upon leaving the school.
2. The classes are held in one classroom, each subject taught by different teachers that come to your homeroom. The only class outside of the same classroom is P.E.
3. There are three floors of classrooms. First floor for first years (10th graders), second floor for second years (11th graders), and third floor for third years (12th graders). The order of classmen are: Freshmen, juniors, and seniors. Sophmores do not exist since there are only three years.
4. Lunch can be eaten in the cafeteria, in the classroom, in the courtyard, or on the roof. Some students even eat on the staircases (so as long as they don't block the passage).
5. Teachers usually can pick their students, but they will have to keep that class list until the students graduate. We are starting in the first year as students.
6. Students are required to wear the schools uniform. In this case, a sailor fuku colored green and white for the girls (green skirt, white shirt/blouse with green collar), a red ribbon is also required for girls. For boys, the uniform is a white dress shirt with a green collar, a red tie and black pants. A black blazer is optional for boys and a green vest is optional for the girls. Regarding P.E. uniforms, they are green shorts for boys and girls with a white t-shirt. For the pool, girls wear a one-piece, dark green bathing suit with their last name written on the front. Boys wear regular green swim trunks (names are written on a tag inside).
7. If a student wishes to make a club in the RP, they are required to speak with a teacher about being the representative for the club.
8. All students are required to prepare and attend the festivals and other events held by their school. For the times they are preparing for the festival, classes are canceled. All students compete in the athletic events for the athletic festival, though it does not matter what event they compete in.
9. School buses are not sent to pick up students. Students usually ride to school on the public bus (and passage on the public bus is free with I.D.), or with a parent, or they walk to school. Most students live close enough to the school to walk.
10. All physical ed. classes tend to be separated by gender, and year. Unless the student has a note from a doctor, all students participate in P.E. classes.
11. Class meetings are thirty minutes long at the most, and are basically about upcoming events (like the cultural festival) and can hold votes on what the class will do for the festival. Club activities also will vote on what they will do for the cultural festival, at meetings during the activity.
12. Near the end of the first semester will be the Mid-term exams (just before summer vacation). Classes are canceled for exams, and different exams are taken for an entire week of school. Near the middle of third semester will be final exams. Classes are canceled for the week of exams.
13. There are going to be five classes for each grade level. Each are determined by the year. The classes are Class 1A-1E (first year classes), 2A-2E(second year classes), and 3A-3E(third year classes).
14. Punishments for failing to bring in homework are determined by the teacher. Mostly, teachers will whap the student on the head with a rolled up pile of papers, but only once per student. Punishment for disrupting class is that the student must stand outside the classroom until the teacher decides the student learned his/her lesson.
15. Student physicals are taken once a year as a check up on the student's to make sure they are healthy. It will take place over the course of two days. They will most likely take place near the beginning of the second semester, a week after summer vacation ends. Classes are canceled on these days.
16. Since students do not leave their classrooms, and because their school lockers are big enough for their shoes and blazers/jackets, the students will keep their bags with them. For this school, students place their books in the desk, and hang their bags on the back of their chair. There are hooks on them for students who use the briefcase bags.
17. Class 1-A is the only class that actually follows the schedule below. Class 1-B starts with the second class on the list, and goes from there. For example, on Mondays, Class 1-B starts with Math, and follows the list as follows. Class 1-C starts with the third class, and so on.
18. The only teacher teaching multiple subjects is the science teacher. The science teacher is required to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (since all of them are on different days). Other teachers are fine.
19. If a student gets sick over the school year, typically, the student calls the school, and tells their homeroom teacher they will be out with said illness. Either that or the parents call the school and inform the teacher.
20. There is a school yearbook, and it is like any other yearbook, but with only staff, student, and club pictures. There are no extra pictures.
21. Upon graduating, underclassmen are given a flower to give to a senior, and all underclassmen MUST give a flower to a senior. Being called "Sakurai High", the flower will be a sakura blossom. This is only to happen on the day of graduation.
22. All classrooms have two representatives from the classroom. One of the representatives usually goes to the meetings help by the members of the student council to state many different things. They are also responsible for maintaining the classes choice for the festivals, and for many other things the teachers assign to them. If both representatives happen to be absent, then the homeroom teacher designates a student to go to the meeting.
23. Classroom cleanups are assigned to different students on different days. They are often written on a list, and put in the classroom for the students to read. The class representative usually helps with makng the list.
24. Freshmen orientation is on the day right before school starts. This gives clubs a chance to bring in more members and put on performances and show what they do.
School Clubs (optional):
It is required to join a club!!! If there is a club you wish to join that is not listed, ask a teacher in the RP about making one, and I will add it to the list. (Also, if I haven't added it in after it's been made, please send me a PM to remind me.)
Here are some basic rules for clubs:
1. Teachers may advise up to two clubs (though only one is prefered). If all teachers have one or two, I will assign random named teachers of upperclassmen classes to advise them.
2. The P.E. teacher does not need to advise every sports club and the Home Economics teacher does not need to advise all clubs associated with home economics.
3. The Astronomy Club does hold after school activities, but they may also go out on escapades to do sightings and collect photos. Any other clubs may also hold escapades associated with regular club activities, but they must get permission and supervision from their advisor! (Exceptions are light music and other musical clubs to have little rehersals at a students home)

Classes last fifty minutes. After school clubs last between a half hour to an hour. Lunch lasts and hour, and also includes time to tidy the classroom for the afternoon. Class cleanings are also taken place at the end of the day, just before after school activities.

Schools start up in April, after Spring Break. Here is a breakdown of the semesters and the vacations.
First Semester - April 7th to July 20th
Summer Vacation - July 21st to August 31st
Second Semester - September 1st to December 25th
Winter Vacation - December 26th to January 7th
Third Semester - January 8th to March 25th
Spring Vaction - March 26th to April 6th
This RP's Cultural Festival will start preparing September 6th. The events will take place on September 12th and 13th. Classes are canceled for these days, but practice is recommended while you are preparing.
There will be a winter festival much like the cultural festival, but limited to the parents of the students. Outside students are not allowed to come. Preparations are from December 20th to December 22nd, and the festivals are the 23rd (for the students of the school) and the 24th (for the students and parents). In case of bad weather, it will be rescheduled.
This RP's Athletic Festival will start preparing on April 21st. April 24th and 25th will be the actual festival days. Students from other schools and parents are all invited. Classes are canceled from March 1st to March 7th for the festival.

She likes to complain sometimes, though she is mostly just joking around.

Outside of work, he usually sits at home, doing paperwork and chatting online.

She can also be noted for her laughing fits, as once she starts, she won't stop for awhile afterwards

She is a pyromaniac, so there tends to be lots of issues in classes when it is Chemistry time. She is originally from Germany so that would explain the German name that translates to Moonlight Thief.

She works very hard to make Sakurai High a pleasant school to be in. She is also a little shy, but covers it up with her aggressiveness. She's very strong for a girl, but she is very bad at girly things, like cooking and sewing.

Appearance: 
Bio: Marcus is an army brat, the son of a Marine Colonel. He grew up in the United States, and when his father was Transferred to a base in Japan, he was forced to move with him. Marcus's mother died in a car accident when he was six, and because of both this and his father's constant absences, he has become fairly self reliant, but also stubborn and out spoken. He hated leaving America, and isn't doing so well at fitting in at Sakurai High School. He's a transfer student who's just barely getting a grip on the Japanese Language. Because of this and his bad attitude, he's having difficulty making friends. Five minutes into the first day of class, he beat the living tar out of a small group of boys who were hassling him, which promptly got him thrown into the Principal's office. Because of this incident, he is starting late at his classes.

(Well, we have enough people, so let's start! :3)
Nekoyama-sensei sat at her desk in the teacher's lounge, drinking a cup of coffee. She looked over her class roster for the school year. Well, it looks like I'll have an interesting group of students. she thinks, as she puts her list down, and laying her head on the table. "Ugh, I don't want to work today!" she says, rather loudly, though it was typical of her to say those kinds of things.
Rikanna walks to her door, and puts on her shoes, opening the door. "Mom, Dad! I'm off to school!" she says, as she starts walking down the street. When she reaches the corner, she stops, and looks around, as if waiting for someone.

Kimura-sensei glances at Nekoyama-sensei, and shakes his head. "Really, Wakana... You could be a little more energetic. It's a beautiful spring day." he says, putting his class list down. "Besides, you have an easy class to teach."
"Rikanna!!" Satoshi shouts, running down the street to meet with his childhood friend. "I can't believe we're high schoolers now! It's kinda exciting, isn't it?!" he says, grinning.
Ikuto lays in bed, with his alarm going off. He opens his eyes, and glances at the clock, then jumps up. "Oh crap! I'll be late if I don't hurry!!"

Rikanna smiles. "We've always been going to the same school. I wonder if we'll be in the same class again." she says as she walks with Satoshi towards the school.

"Eh?" Maruyama-sensei said, looking at Nekoyama-sensei, "The bar, Nekoyama-sensei? Oh... I don't know... It is only the first day..."
Azami came around a corner and spotted two other students dressed in her school's uniform. She smiled and ran to catch up with them. "Excuse me!" she shouted as she approached.

Kimura-sensei chuckles a little. "Wakana, behave yourself. You never know if the headmistress will walk in on you saying that."
Satoshi turns as well, looking at the girl approaching them, and smiles. "Hey."
Ikuto dresses quickly, and grabs a piece of toast. He runs to the door, and puts on his shoes. "Dad, I'm off!" he says, before running out the house.

The teacher's lounge door opens, and Yukimura-sensei walks in, looking at the teacher's. "Well, here starts another school year. Nekoyama-sensei, please pull yourself together while I'm talking..." she says.

Kimura-sensei sips his coffee, listening to Yukimura-sensei.
Satoshi grins, and pats Rikanna's head. "And, I'm Satoshi Ikeda. I hope we can make good friends with you." he says.
Ikuto runs down his street. "Man, I should've left ten minutes earlier... I'm gonna barely make it on time!"

Yukimura-sensei looks at the teacher's, smiling. "Well, it's another school year. Just remember the first festival coming up is the sports festival, which will be from June 15th to the 17th. If it rains, we will reschedule." she says, as she reads the paper. "That's all for this semester. Any questions?" she asks.
Nekoyama-sensei raises her hand. "Sensei! Will you be attending the festivals this year?" she asks.
"We'll see." Yukimura-sensei replies. "Any other?"
Rikanna smiles at Azume. "It seems you live close to us, Hayashi-san." she says. "We can walk to school together everyday!"
