Gender: Male
Appearance: Kain has short, feathery cream hair that falls almost in his eyes, which are a warm chocolate and slightly almond shaped. His skin is a pale creamy tone and his frame leans more towards the slender side, with muscles not highly visible and their actual existence almost doubtful. XD He’s medium height, just less than 6 ft. tall and wears light, rimless glasses with shiny, pale gold frames. Clothing is kept neat and simple, usually t-shirts, shirts and jeans or his medic uniform, which he seems to live in most of the time.
Occupation: Medic/Doctor
Girlfriend/Wife: None as of yet. He may take a while to notice anybody in that way as he’s not really looking for a partner right now, though he’d like one ‘some day’. He's still fairly young and figures there are more important things right now to take care of.
Skills/abilities: He's good at diagnosing, healing and treating various injuries and illnesses. He's also a good listener.

Kain tries to take care of people of any age and race. He likes to try cheering them up if they’re feeling down, hurt or stressed, either by a few kind words, offering to help, or maybe just trying to take their mind off it. He is guilty of viewing things through doctors’ lens and thinking of everyone as patients, though he does try to make mental notes about what a person likes or dislikes.
He has a soft spot for animals, especially frogs as he finds them adorable and good indicators of a healthy environment and catfish because they are fun to study. He used to spoil his pet cat, Yoko, when he lived with it on board the space ship and he misses it dearly.
Kain tends to start fidgeting when he has nothing to do or is feeling anxious or excited. He especially dislikes his glasses slipping down his face since his vision is compromised without them and he finds it uncomfortable, so he adjusts them often.
Sometimes he can tend to go a bit overboard with having everything in its proper place and time, feeling that if he doesn't, things will fall apart. He keeps an organiser full of notes, appointments, to-do lists and just about everything you can think of.
He also likes to make sure things are well cleaned when he washes them and keep a high level of personal hygiene.
Touching or breaking his glasses is a pet peeve and so is doing things he considers ‘grotty’ or dirty.
Kain likes to push himself at things he thinks are important, re-doing them until they are ‘right’. If others don’t do things to the same level, it is seen as laziness on their part.
He doesn’t mind listening to someone if they have something on their mind. Kain goes by the motto that all good things take time.
He prefers to focus on positive things so that the depressing/dark things of life don’t get him down; this way he feels he is of better service to others, as it is a way he takes care of his own mental health.
As such he is not averse to making the odd joke. Although, he can tend to hide his own problems and pretend everything is alright in a stubborn effort to stay optimistic and ‘useful’. He believes being a doctor is the only role in life he ever wants...and maybe the only one he can do.
He also likes to try to find the good in people and the silver lining in the storm clouds.
Kain does tend to internalise things that he is worried about or even things he is thinking over and can be in his own little world a lot of the time.
Reading a book or studying is one of his favourite past times although he also does like listening to stories.
As he tends to think of everyone as a person who could potentially be a patient and is also very busy, he hasn’t started looking or allowed himself to look at anyone in a romantic light.
This is partially because he doesn’t want to hurt them and partially because he is a bit naïve when it comes to women (this is what spending all one’s time studying can do).
And most of all, he doesn’t like to rush into things. Being prepared and arming himself with knowledge and resources as well as taking the time to research is all very important to him.
In tight spots, Kain prefers to use his brain/intelligence rather than physical force, unless he feels threatened and can't think of a way out (then it's stabby syringe time or other tactics).
He is predominantly a peace-lover however and can be quite resourceful with the things he has at hand or talking himself out of trouble.
He’s not the fittest person out there (skinny nerd type) although he does like to eat healthy and exercise, mostly in the form of walking or swimming. He once tried to persuade a monster to be friendly and got injured…so clearly, his talk-out tactic doesn’t always work.
Bio: Before coming to Purri, Kain Amaranth was a medic on a certain space station, a station full of the remaining survivors of a world of humans, whose home planet was destroyed by a race of horrible monsters. Monsters that were still savagely attacking the space station and remaining planets when he was there.
He began studying as a medic at an early age because he saw all the suffering around him and felt useless. His knowledge of combat was pea sized and he was rather weak, physically. He didn’t think he’d be any use at engineering and was worried he’d crash a ship if he tried to pilot one. Still, he was determined to do something to aid those in need as well as those brave souls, the warriors ‘fighting the good fight’.
Desiring to help out any way he could, he signed up to be a medic and from that point on, he never looked back, unexpectedly uncovering a hidden passion and talent for the work.
He wanted to do everything he could to help the people that were left, though he disagreed strongly with the military’s approach to reaching their final goal. Regardless of who or what came to him for help, he would treat everyone who came to him. His life was aboard that space station. He would go back to his home on board the station, where he lived happily with his parents and his cat, Yoko.
However, all of that changed one fateful day.
During an attack by the monsters that had been plaguing and attacking the space station and planets in that galaxy, he was trying to do research on a monster he had managed to capture and tie down. However, the monster somehow managed to attract other monsters to its aid, who helped break it free. The research towards possibly being able to forge a peaceful existence between humans and the space creatures went horribly wrong.
He had a secret wish that the monsters they were fighting and the survivors of what was left of the home planet could come to a peaceful existence of some kind one day and live together happily. He was attacked by the furious, freed monster and nearly lost his life. His wish was dissolved in that instant.
After that, Kain was transported to a hospital on the nearest planet...told that he would have to go into quarrantine as standard safety procedure after coming into such close contact with the creatures. Yet, as he began to recover, he still wasn't allowed to be discharged and was transferred to a different facility after a while, one that seemed in a strange location to Kain. (The scientist labs) The scientists and staff were performing tests on him, at first he believed them about doing reasearch to see whether the monsters had had any strange effects on him or to make sure he wasn't 'contaminated'...but as time went by and the tests became more and more starnge, Kain decided he had to get out...

Family members/pets: His beloved parents and pet cat, Yoko, are all still in space on the Pendragon station, living happily in their spacious apartment. They think he's off on missions and have no idea about the true events of what's happened to him. Kain has no way of contacting them at present.

Age: 26
Race: Scorpion hybrid
Tribe: 2 - Insect
Gender: Female
Appearance: Nikola has semi-short, pure sky blue hair in a wild bob cut with spikes of her fringe longer than the rest and cut at various lengths, styled so they sweep to one side slightly. Her skin is lightly tanned from playing in the underground lake a lot; a light caramel colour. She possesses a long scorpion tail with a stinger bulb on the end. It usually sits tamely, except when she gets angry; then it curves up and hovers threateningly overhead. Her left arm is half scorpion from above the elbow, down and ends in a claw. Both her scorpion parts are black brown at their bases (where they merge out of her skin), changing gradually through palest blue to the brightest sky blue at the ends. Little fuzzy hairs prickle all along her scorpion tail and arm, which also happen to be somewhat hard and shiny. Her eyes are also the colour of the clear sky and are thin, slanted and vibrant. Her ears are small and rounded, though they point skywards and are finely pointed at the tips. Each ear has three diamante piercings along the outer rim. Nikola is meduim height as well as somewhat toned, due to the fact that she likes to keep fit swimming, kayaking, fighting monsters and having races against friends.
Skills/abilities: Strike - Nikola's scorpion tail has a stinger bulb that can deliver a nasty venom that, when injected, either temporarily paralyses or sedates a target. The venom usually also makes the victim feel lethargic and very ill for about a day or so.
Pinch: Her left scorpion arm has a claw on the end that is very efficient at cracking open hard objects and helping dent holes in things.
Clothing: She prefers loose pants, paired with sporty tank tops or t-shirts as well as simple summer clothing, like sarongs, or a skirt and tee shirt.
Personality: Bubbly, confident, outgoing, passionate, sweet 'n spicy, energetic, kind, fiery temper, follows heart, caring.
Bio: Created in the labs, she feels like Purri is her true home rather than her second home. Her original creators were kind, yet when they had to move onto another project which meant they had to leave for other lands, they let her go free in Purri to protect her from their colleagues who might not treat her well. That was when she was sixteen. Since then, she has settled into the insect tribe quite nicely and has more or less grown up there as one of them.
Mate/partner: A Chimera hybrid named Teal Vaiar from the Chimera tribe. He looks like a very tall human with part scorpion, part golden pheasant and part hare genetics evident in his appearance.
Long, soft, hare ears in place of human ears, a bright half red (on the lower half) and half purple (on the upper) scorpion tail with stinger and colourful, feathery, floaty strands as well as wings springing from his back, with the pheasant's hues of teal, red, green, orange, gold, blue and purple scattered through them. His hair is teal and his eyes are pale yellow. His fingers each have small claws on them as well.
Teal left the walled city to explore the rest of Purri, so he could see it for himself and that way met Nikola, who was out on the surface instead of in the underground city or caves at the time.

Other: She starts out in the insect tribe, but this changes later.

Appearance: Savage in nature as well as appearance, Midnight's human and animal form share many features of the other; tall, wide, and muscular. In human form, Midnight sports piercing green (emerald?) eyes and wild black hair similar to that which covers her as a bear, hanging about hip length. Being part woman and all beast, clothes tend to be optional part of Midnight's lifestyle. Favoring the freedom of her own skin, she generally wears at little clothing as possible while still wearing her favorite tribal charms (fang and claw bracelets, skull necklace, etc).

Skills/abilities: Powers; Shapeshifting James can the the form of practically anything and take on simple, purely physical powers depending on form.
His only other power it the ability to control how his body reacts to the pull of gravity.

Personality: The entity known as James, is entirely cold and businesslike, when he is "working". However when he has "time off" he likes to joke. However his personality may change depending on what form/identity he has taken, as he is a consumate actor.
Bio: The creature now known most often by his mercenary alias, the fer de lance, had lived many lives, all of them shams. He was busy living the life of a blade for hire when they finally caught up with him.
Then he began a new life, a life of torturous experiments as a guinea pig. However soon he would break out and he would reap a terrible vengeance.

Bio: She doesn’t know her parents, but she thinks that they must’ve had blonde hair and tan skin like hers. Ever since she could start to remember things, she tried going back to recognize her parents. She knows she has a brother, Eralin, but she doesn’t know where he is at the moment, or if he still is alive.

Human skills/abilities: Well, she can still fly, since she has thouse black wings. She has sharp nails, so, beware anyone who can get within range of those when she is fighting.
Bio: She left her home herd at the age of two (human age 1 cool , and has been ever roaming since. She settled down in the hoofed tribe since she felt the most comfortable there.

Gender: Female
Appearance: Nabel is a Siamese neko, with seal points on her face, paws, tail and ears. On her right shoulder, she has her tribe symbol tattooed there. She loves to wear tshirts, pj pants, and basketball shorts when she can. Overall, her dressing style is laid back, but can clean up nice too.
Skills/abilities:
Cook- she can cook pretty decently, being the tribe's herb gatherer and all.
Traveling- she travels all over Purri to get the necessary herbs that Persia needs. Sometimes she has to go out of the Feline tribe territory.
Sharp claws- she has sharp claws that she uses in fights, but only in close combat
Swift run- she runs pretty swiftly for a nekojin.
Camouflage- her pelt blends in with some of the scenery around her, so playing hide and go seek in a savannah would be difficult...not much for her though. wink
Personality: Bubbly and happy. Except when she's mad. Then she's a banshee. Once that happens, almost nothing can calm her down. But once she's calmed, she apologizes and life goes on.
Bio: She doesn't remember being abandoned by her real mum and dad, so that part is a bit fuzzy. All she remembers is that she is Fria's sister and a daughter to two loving parents.

Despite being female, Dawn has the body of a warrior and is a natural born leader. Her parents see great things in her future. Dusk = Male; 2rd; Average size, /w deep green eyes, and black hair (similar to Midnight). Grows up to be dashing rogue type. Received little to no bulk in the genetic lottery. Noon = Female; 3nd; Smallest of the three, w/ ice blue eyes, and white/sliver hair. Grows up to be powerful shaman/druid. Inheriting the dormant magic gene from Midnight (most prominent in her grandmother) and a touch of mystery magic from Morning (and his unknown home world), Noon's genetics formed a powerful bond allowing the girl to tap into great amounts of magical energy.
