Of course, I respect all artists to a certain degree. gaga being one of the most highest respected.
However, another female has also been highly respected in my tiers of musicdom. Utada Hikaru. She has been in the music business for 11 years. Not only that, she writes all her own songs (except for one) and she plays piano. Plus I heard her music videos are crazy.
for anyone who likes LoveGame, I suggest Dirty Desire and for those who like Mexican Grocery Store music Alejandro I suggest Me Muero!(I still love it despite the instrumental sounding like Mexican grocery Store music)

I love Utada she has alot of good songs it's a shame she is putting her music career on hold to pursue other things. It rumored she is in the running to be a judge on the US version of X-factor.

Well when you've been in the music business for 11 years, I'm sure you would like to put your career on hold also.
However, from what I've read, she'll be releasing another album before she goes on break. It even includes a song with Japanese and French lyrics, translated by Utada herself.

Little Monzter I love her for her music in Kingdom Hearts!!!.. whee heart I loved the theme songs also! I'm planning on downloading Passion and Simple and Clean Japanese here soon.

I love her music, especially her song Devil Inside.
Also, her music videos are definitely weird. In "You Make Me Want To Be A Man" She transforms into what I think is suppose o be an android(obviously male) In Sakura Drops, I think she is supposed to be the personification of Mother Nature. And in Passion(the song from KH2) she is surrounded by various nobodies and is in Castle Oblivion(All white and stuff, and the dancer nobodies are quite obvious)
