Does anyone else think that movie stars back when TV was in black and white were more attractive than modern-day stars?
It seems like, even at formal events like the Oscars, stars just try to be hot or sexy, or even just plain slutty (Jersey Shore, anyone?). But looking back in time, the movie stars were just so much more elegant and glamorous, without showing eight inches of cleavage or slinky dresses. I mean, even just normal ladies in, like, the 1950s, with calf-length skirts and pillbox hats can be more elegant than our celebrity stars. It's saddening. Anyone have an opinion?
