I'm a female
I'm 16 years old.
This is my sixth year here at Hogwarts.
The house I'm in is Hufflepuff!
People say that, in a nutshell, I'm strong-willed and passionate, though I can be a bit hard-headed at times. My friends are my foundation and you can bet I will do anything for them, even if it means risking my life. I tend to live life on the edge, and because of that I often find myself in some sticky situations. I guess this comes from my rebellious nature. Shy is something you will never hear someone describe me as. I will usually be the first to strike up a conversation when meeting someone new and I am loyal to and will defend those I surround myself with.
My background story is: I have been surrounded by magic my whole life. I was born and raised in Ireland where my family has lived for generations. About four years ago, my father passed away and my mother, wishing to escape from the painful memories that rested with our Irish home, took my younger sister and me to live in London close to some family of ours that had moved there years earlier. Though I miss the lush, green hills of Ireland, I have learned to adapt to life in London and have accepted it as my new home. With everything that had happened, my letter of acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry came as a welcome relief. My mother was overjoyed and told me time and again how proud my father would have been. I looked forward to leaving for Hogwarts, as it provided for me a hope of a new, brighter future where I could escape the darkness of recent tragedies in my life.
I enjoy the mysterious and bizarre. I can't wait for classes such as Defense Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures. I have always had a passion for music and the arts. Spending time with my friends is something I cherish deeply. Oh, and I love storms.
I despise anyone that acts with arrogance or intolerance. I also can't stand being in conflict with my friends, those who abuse their magic, know-it-alls, and sushi.

Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! My cousin Aerynn McKenny just recently received her acceptance letter as well. I'm so excited that we will be first year students together! Even if she doesn't yet know that I will also be attending Hogwarts.
