And bury their bodies in the bushes. Or just settle for egging their front door and/or complaining to the landlady about noise.
Noise complaints are the most irritating thing about living in close quarters with other people. These girls live on the second floor (we're on the 3rd, and a room over), and we still hear the "BOOM BOOM BOOM TCHHHH BOOOOM" through the walls. Hurray for older buidlings. It's been every night lately - starting at the earliest of 9:30 pm, going till like 2 am. I'm especially pissed today because I have a morning shift, and wanted to be up at 5 but I just couldn't get up then after waking up at 1:45 and staying up till 2:30. We ended up moving to the living room and sleeping on the couch coushins on the floor.
Basically what we think happened last night was that one of them left a dvd one before falling asleep so the intro scene on the main menu was left on repeat like they tend to do - because it was a steady loop of an annoying sound in less than a minute span. I felt like I was going crazy. First we thought it was the immediate neighbour, but then Will investigated and it seemed like it was the second floor b***h again.
Super tempted to knock on their door on my way out of the buidling in 10 minutes and be all "Good morning! Just thought I'd wake you up too smile " I swear they still think they live in rez.
Got any shitty neighbour stories?

I would have found where the noise was coming from, and bang on the door at the 2am or whatever when it woke me up. Seriously! If they're going to be *that* inconsiderate, I'd be getting damn pissed at them!
... But then again, this kind of thing gets me into trouble a lot .... So maybe just talk to the landlady? sweatdrop heart

We have a lot of neighbors that are awful. Dogs barking, yard nazis (people that report every thing to the HOA and vandalize your house or lawn otherwise), one neighbor sees a bird and will then stand outside clapping, another smokes like a damn chimney down the side or our house to be away from her own, people loiter in the accessways and set off fireworks, and one of our neighbors likes to shoot everything – to the point that we have 3 22-calibre bullet holes in our house and a few more in our back wall. And the police just don't seem to care, I think they have a mindset of that anything less than a pile of dead bodies in the street is too much trouble to deal with.

DEFINITELY talk to your landlady. That is just ******** rude and entirely inconsiderate. Those bitches need to go down.
Actually I think you might even be able to call the police? My dad used to get the police to rap the knuckles of a place across the street that would hold parties after 11pm even. I think that's the legal cut off for noise pollution?
When we lived in ditchmond in the old apartment building, the place directly above ours was too busy smoking pot to take their 3 year old to the park to let out his energy. He ran and ran and ran around the apartment ALL DAY LONG, with the occasional jumping on their bed followed by the WHOMP of him jumping OFF their bed. It was total bullshit. The walls were thin though, we were also awoken by the mother ******** some random guy at 5am on occasion. They had a squeeky mattress and would sex romp around on it for about 20 minutes during which I was always woken and kept awake. None of our other neighbours were bad, but we did here the person directly next to our place snoring once in a while through the wall.

Yeah, there is no reason you should have to put up with that. Either complain to the landlord/landlady, or else take matters into your own hands. I suggest sneak up to their door and superglue it shut. Windows too, if it isn't a challenge to get too. Then sell their car on Craigslist or something.

Omgawsh, that sounds a million times worse than just phat beats late at night. :O You even have bullet holes in your house?! Those police sound awful too... I mean, that sounds dangerous!

But if it wasn't for all the people playing loud music while drunk/stoned out of their minds then no one would go to Subway and so you wouldn't have to get up at 5am, get with the times mrgreen

The closest horror I've had was when there is a flood in the apartment from the neighbors upstairs. They have a washing machine which they are not supposed to have and sometimes the water leaks into the apartment. There were times it got so bad, it created huge holes in the ceiling of the bathroom, kitchen, and closet. The landlord does nothing about the neighbors and does a shitty job patching up the ceilings. It hasn't happened in awhile though, so here's hoping it doesn't happen so often this year.
