Twi'leit lazily juggled three stones staring down from his rooftop perch at the bustling crowd below. He was bored out of his mind, if he didn't find something to occupy his time soon, there would be mischief afoot. If he had been feeling better he would be mingling below with the crowds, snatching coins and items from unsuspecting victims. He had gotten a bad cold a few days ago and was still recuperating from it. He sneezed and wiped his nose on his arm since he didn't have anything else to use.
The mucus mingled with the dirt and grim that had gathered on his slender arms for the past few days, making a rather interesting pattern. Twi gazed at it for a moment, his eyes narrowing as he tried to concentrate. "Aha!" He cried out finally with an amused grin lighting up his face. "It looks like a monkey!" At this he cackled only to start coughing from the overexertion.
"Ugh," He moaned and laid back on the tile roof, trying to relax his overtaxed lungs. "It better not be that broncho stuff again. That medicine I had to take was horrid!" He screwed his face up in disgust. "I just need to take my mind off of this stupid cold. I need something entertaining."
With that he immediately popped up and shimmied down the building like a monkey and then slid into the shadows as he surveyed the bustling crowds.

Once again, Yvvas was bored. It seemed like no matter what he found for entertainment there was always a time when the entertainment ended and he had to go off in search of something new to amuse him. He hadn't been having much luck so far today, no shiny new trinkets or colorful baubles had caught his eye and no one interesting had crossed his path.
The marketplace was busy and there were plenty of people scurrying here and there trying to get this or that but all in all it was utterly lacking in intrigue. He slipped a rubber ball out of his pocket, a prize of random chance that he'd lifted some time ago from a surface raider's cart. It was shiny and blue and Yvvas enjoyed tossing it from hand to hand as he ambled aimlessly down the rows of stalls. His eyes drifted lazy across his surroundings, taking in the drab dullness without really paying any attention to it, pondering whether there was anyplace nearby that was good for a nap.
Something large and red and shiny swung into his peripheral vision and he jerked to a hault, swinging his head around so fast that his eyes barely had time to keep up with the motion. His rubber ball slipped past his hand, its toss having come at the just the moment Yvvas had spotted the glimmering object. He paused again, his attention torn between the new shiny trinket that could cause him some amusement and the old shiny trinket he had grown rather fond of.
The ball bounced around a female Drow's ankles and Yvvas dove after it with a huffed sigh, not caring about the startled cries and curses and instead scrambling between another Drow's legs to snatch at his prize before finally pausing again. He glared at the ball a moment, then slipped it back into his vest and rose to his tippy toes, staring longingly in the direction he had seen the red shiny going. It was probably out of reach now, Yvvas thought sadly, picking up his feet to wander in that direction anyways, it could have gone anywhere.

Twi's line of sight was immediately focused on the incident occurring in the middle of the crowd. The colorful curses and annoyed cries made him perk up slightly. He watched in a bemused manner as the small boy slipped out of the crowd not even caring that he had disturbed the drow around him by his diving underneath their feet and skirts.
Twi eyed the boy, sizing him up as conspicuously as he could. The boy had yellow eyes which really stood out in his dark face, especially with the strange tattoo like markings on his cheeks. Twi actually liked them and rubbed his cheeks wondering if it had hurt to get them.
The boy was slightly taller than he was and probably a couple of years older, but was still on the scrawny side. He carried himself in a way that suggested he had street smarts and was skilled in fighting. Twi couldn't help but admire the other, he obviously had survived and didn't have anyone else to answer to, unlike himself. One day, Twi would be able to say the same.
Twi'leit waited until the other boy had passed his hiding place and then silently followed him, watching and wondering how to best approach him. He wasn't sure it was a smart thing to do, but he couldn't help himself. Perhaps..today wasn't going to be as boring as he had initially believed.

Yvvas wandered for a little while down the row of stalls he'd thought he'd seen the red shiny headed towards, then finally gave up, looking around for someplace to lounge until something interesting found him. It wasn't like Yvvas to give up a chase so easily, but it had also been a while since his last nap and he figured while there were probably still people looking for the bright red brat that had caused a ruckus he might as well find some place to lie low.
Heaving another little sigh, he turned down a side street and climbed up a stack of crates until he came to someone's windowsill. He peered inside, then, determining that no one was currently home, helped himself to an assortment of vittles sitting on the table. It seemed like whoever had put the vittles there had been meaning to eat them soon, so Yvvas stuffed some of his new supplies into his vest next to his ball and headed back for the windowsill.
A creak echoed in the room behind him and he lunged for the windowsill, thinking that this situation seemed vaguely familiar as yet another cry sounded out behind him and a pot whizzed past his ear to bang against the wall. Deciding that familiar situations were not at all new or entertaining, he slid out the window and jumped from the crates to another nearby windowsill. This one was occupied before he reached it, the denizen had probably come to the window to see what the noise was about, so Yvvas ended up tumbling heels over the other Drow's head into the room behind him.
Well, he thought, his eyes lighting up a little at the prospect of something new, this was a different situation than one he'd been in before. A hand closed tightly around his ankle and he yelped in surprise, not expecting the Drow he'd landed on to regain his senses quite so quickly. He twisted and dug his other heel into the hand, freeing his ankle, and before the other could try to grab him again Yvvas stepped on the Drow's back and vaulted back out the window.
He'd definitely have to find someplace to lay low now, he laughed, swinging down to the street below by the skin of his knuckles.
( Sorry, I had fun with this one >3> )

Twi'leit moved quickly, making sure to stay in the shadows where he wouldn't be spotted by the other drow he was now tailing. He came to a stop utterly surprised when the other climbed straight into a window and began to help himself to whatever he wanted. Twi's eyes grew round with fright.
Was he crazy? What if he were caught?! What if he was captured and beaten for what he was doing? Was he out if his mind? Twi nervously wrangled his fingers as he eyed the window nervously. While Twi was a thief, he was the more cautious type and usually didn't steal from people who could be awake and likely to punish him for what he did.
He began to move forward to see what was taking the other fellow so long to come out, and immediately froze when he saw the other had been grabbed by the ankle as he had tried to exit the room. he nearly chortled with glee when the other was deft enough to escape the adult's grasp and vault off his back and out into the street.
Without thinking Twi let loose a laugh of delight giving away his position in the shadows.
