When the prison clothes had been introduced I had spent a few thousand gold to purchase myself some prison clothing. Just today I glanced at the prices and from a few thousand the prices for the prison clothes had dropped to under a thousand. Why is this? sweatdrop

lets see...
less prisoner's items = more demand = more value more prisoner's items = less demand = less value
there are lots of prisoner's items right now, so that's probably why they're low. That's my opinion

Back upon their release, most everyone wanted them because they were the first new random event items in awhile. Now, there are so many available that the price has dropped in much the same way the demand has.

Fair enough, thanks for the help. Now I realised howmuch I just wasted gold on these clothes when I could of just waited for them to become 'popular' I guess.

This always happens when new rares/uncommons are released.
I remember when android parts sold for over 40k(back when 40k was worth a LOT more) and were the hottest item on Gaia....now I find myself selling them back to the store xd

whee Danke. First time I spent over 5 hours on one piece of art from start to finish.

There aren't that many uncommon or rare items that really retain their value after the initial release. A lot of them simply aren't popular enough for the demand to keep prices up. Look how cheap the flower on your head is now. The chains are worth more because they're more unique, there are only so many non-clothing items around.
