Magenta lives with her parents, in the same town as Murasaki, Violet and Chartreuse. Violet was her first boyfriend. After their first sexual encounter, Violet admitted to her that he was gay and ended their relationship. Magenta still isn't over him and finds it hard to be happy about anything since Violet broke up with her.
Magenta and Chartreuse have never been able to get along and have been rivals in almost everything since early childhood, mostly due to their opposite personalities. Magenta is easily upset and Chartreuse takes pleasure in exploiting this weakness often.
Since her breakup with Violet, Murasaki has expressed an interest in Magenta. Magenta is constantly trying to let him know that she doesn't feel the same, as she has never liked him (she thinks he's an obnoxious moron) and is still in love with Violet.
Magenta gets along well with Rose, as they have a lot of similar interests (mostly "girly" things like make-up, fashion, etc.)
Magenta feels awkward around Rouge and has been mostly trying to avoid being left alone with him since they met. However, since Rouge started dating Violet, he has been making an effort to talk more to Magenta, who has discovered that he's actually a nice person and they have some deep conversations about love and life together. Since they started talking more, she's starting to get over Violet slowly.
Similarly with Murasaki, Magenta thinks Schwarz is a moron (as well as being repulsed by his drink and drug habits) and tries to ignore him when possible.
