Chartreuse never speaks about her family, so it's unknown who she actually lives with, if she has any siblings, etc. As a child, she was always interested in learning about magic (although, in this universe, magic is considered taboo and people thought she was strange or 'evil', for this reason, when she was at school) and has a wider-than-average knowledge of it. She is Magenta's opposite; loud, forward and confident. She bullied Magenta in school to take out her frustration at being bullied herself. She always dresses provocatively and is comfortable talking openly about her sexual history, even with complete strangers. She is known for making rude or sexual comments often in conversation and doesn't care if she offends anyone, which is the main aspect of her personality Magenta hates. Chartreuse finds it funny to flirt with Murasaki, although she actually isn't interested in him, because he appears to be slightly scared of her (despite his usual forwardness with women). She has a mutual 'understanding' with Schwarz in that they have similar personalities and are often harmlessly flirting with and teasing each other. Chartreuse had a brief sexual relationship with Rouge, where they both agreed there was no romance involved. Towards the end of this relationship, it was Chartreuse who played matchmaker and convinced Rouge and Violet to confess their feelings to each other, and she remains a close friend of both. Chartreuse has great respect for Rouge because of his experience with magic and her love of it. This was the reason why she was originally attracted to him and she continues to have him teach her more than what she can learn from books. Chartreuse is currently dating Rose. Rose entered this relationship completely unexperienced in all aspects of life and Chartreuse is enjoying corrupting her.
