period which was about 794 to 1185) and was either the wife or concubine
of a samurai. She is said to have been very beautiful but also very vain,
and possibly cheating on her husband. The samurai, extremely jealous
and feeling cuckolded, attacked her and slit her mouth from ear to ear,
screaming "Who'll think you're beautiful now?!"

Faction/Race Ghost - Kuchisake-onna
Personality: On the surface, Sai seems to be a simple girl. Vain, fickle, vengeful, and impulsive, almost like that of any other stereotypical high school prom queen. Yet, under the face of that permanent grin is a ghost motivated by vengeance and denial.
From a first glance, Sai may appear to be a very simple person. Easily influenced by others, even the most benign criticism may throw her out for a loop and put the ghost in a terrible mood. Her sensitivity to the words and actions of those around her stems from a deeply hidden insecurity regarding her mutilated face. Going from the girl everyone wants to date to the person people scream at first sight does quite a bit of emotional damage.
Nevertheless, Sai still retains an shred of the cold cut confidence that can only come from walking over the hearts of countless boys and girls alike. She has strong beliefs on what is wrong and right and works strictly within those set boundaries. Those boundaries can be especially evident when Sai is considering revenge. She has no motive when it comes to petty matters such as someone cutting her hair in her sleep or something else harmless. That is, harmless being defined in this situation as something or someone whose loss would have very little effect on her, anything that is easily replaceable. Hair is something that can be replaced with time. And though she may be more than irritated, it would not warrant revenge.
When it concerns matters regarding stealing on a higher level, the girl's fury is quite a sight to be hold. Having been striped of her beauty and life, Sai cannot and will not stand for having anything else important stolen from her. Steal from her and depending on how important it is to her, she may either gouge out the person's eyes with her scissors or stab them multiple times in the leg.
(*NOTE: It's important to note that for Sai, stealing isn't just taking a person or item from her. She also sees lying as stealing, stealing a person's right to truth and so forth.))
Perhaps because she is a ghost, Sai is moved by strong emotions and this leads her to be impulsive. If a person around her is angry, she will channel those feelings and act on them not matter how irrelevant the matter is to her. Because the emotions of others channel and amplify inside her, they tend to override the rigid boundaries Sai has set of what is and is not acceptable. This is what leads her to be easily influenced by others. Acting on the first emotion that comes, Sai makes decisions without thinking about the consequences and how her actions may affect others.
((*NOTE: Sai's personality shifts dramatically when in the company of others. The emotions of others tend to resonate inside her and easily overtake her own emotions. It's very similar to being in a mob and getting mob mentality.))
And yet, despite her many flaws Sai is not completely a twisted individual. To those who know her well, there is still a caring side to the kuchisake-onna. It is less nurturing but more instructive. A part of her cannot bring herself to show love because of her murder, but she still wishes well to those whom she finds solace in. Her way of showing 'love' is by standing there as a pillar of guidance. Try as you might, but you will never get a hug or kiss from Sai, but you may get more than a few words of comfort and a word of advice.
Sai's social interaction relies heavily on the number of people present. In general, she is untrusting of others and prone to being a listener rather than a talker. With a quick eye for detail, she catches on many subtle hints to decipher a person's behavior. Many find it difficult to engage Sai in a conversation due to her predilection for staying a listener, not to mention the kuchisake-onna has a way with words that can make even the most insignificant comment draw blood. Sai does not hold back her feelings, voicing her thoughts as they come up. Of course, it's another thing completely to see Sai voicing her thoughts on a matter given she has few if no one she completely trusts.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Sai is tired of chasing after the children and teenagers in Halloween town. It just doesn't offer the kind of high she used to get off on in the past. She hopes that by harnessing the power of her FEAR she can bring forth a greater sense terror in the eyes of her victims. Not to mention, she still needs to find the person who mutilated her own beautiful face....

Sai's weakest class would be shadowcraft given that she's a ghost and has no real need for the skill other than she finds it fascinating. Her strongest subjects are stealth or illusionary acts given that she's a kuchisake-onna.
FEAR: Sai's FEAR is known as Grotesque.
Grotesque allows her to cast an illusion that leads her opponent once eye contact has been made. The illusion leads the victim into thinking that their facial features have been distorted. (If they were under Grotesque and looked at their reflection, they might see empty sockets instead of eyes, or even their lips rotting off.) At her current level, this illusion will only last a maximum of thirty seconds and even the slightest distraction will easily break the illusion.
And yes, those under Sai's grotesque will be able to feel the said illusion.
Natural Ability:
"On most versions of the myth she is impossible to escape, as she can either appear in front of you no matter which way you turn or can move at superhuman speeds and catch you."
Sai can 'tie' herself to her opponent that she will be in front of them no matter what direction they turn. However, for this to happen she must exchange lock eyes with that person for at least 15 seconds. To avoid GMing, Sai's ability can only last for 4-5 minutes at most and will last longer as she becomes stronger. No matter how strong Sai becomes, she can only 'tie' herself to one person at a time. Sai has heightened speed but lacks strength and endurance. Meaning, Sai is a sprinter not a marathon runner.
Like most ghosts, she can control visibility at will. However, she may only enter a room if invited by the owner.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Sai has ringed eyes. That is her sclera is white but her irises are repeating rings of black and white.
Hair Colour/Style: Sai has black hair, long and silky. It has red ribbons braided through it and falls to her knees.
However, the artist may alter her hairstyle if it benefits the design.
Skin Colour: Pale, she has no real skin tone. A translucent milky color.
Clothing Style/Colours: I'm hoping for her color scheme to be heavy in coal gray with accents in red and white.

Sai also carries a pair of large scissors, these are approximately a foot and half long.
