AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLMENT FORM
Name: Damien Gavenkrantz
Nicknames: Demi, [Phos or Melas (considering which is the forefront personality)]
Gender: Male
Age: Fourteen
Faction/Race Monster- Hell Hound
Personality: Damien is from a family lineage that dates back to the Greek gods and the well known underworld guardian, Kerberos. He was not born with the extra heads, but must gain power and knowledge in order to form them on his own, because of this, the extra personalities that the other heads would have, is suppressed into his body until it cannot be held back and surfaces, he has two known as Phos and Melas. Rumor has it that the Gavenkrantz family have an important secret tie to land of Halloween that few know and dare not speak into the crisp autumn air...
Change Over!
Damien Is actually the well balanced one between all the personalities, having to remain in constant control of his emotions lest one of them tries to surface. This is not to say that he doesn’t falter, he does, and pretty often in fact, he’s still learning to deal with it.
He was groomed and conditioned by his elders to act as regal and distinguished as his predecessors; a beast in battle, a gentleman outside of it, and a chilling terror to the meat puppets. To his peers, he may fall under the guise of being stuffy or even snobbish. It is also the part of him that’s very focused on his scholastic needs, and may come off as shy during social activities, it's just not in his comfort zone.
Oh Look! A Ball! Whee~~~
Phos is the emerging personality that can be triggered by intense euphoria or excitement. He then becomes very giddy and effervescent, almost to the point of annoyance for some. Phos is simply just happy to be out so he can play, and play he does. He’s more akin to acting like a domesticated dog that wants to be very social; to chat or hang out or to play a game. He’s not afraid to ask for a pet or even a scratch behind his ear. Phos never got much time to explore the world, being confined in his little glass container. So whenever Damien's control falters in his favor, Phos takes the chance to be free, to run and explore and enjoy the moment, because he knows that it won't last long till he gets corralled back in. The head of his family thinks that the Phos personality may have a problem focusing on his work, since he could get easily distracted by material objects, which is also a bad thing on any future field scare trips.
The Hell do you want, punk!?
Melas is the personality that arises during moments of intense anger or irritation; It also likes to make an appearance during matches. It is his more malicious side, one that is easily agitated, crass, sarcastic and downright rude. It is the side of him that’s not afraid to tell you exactly what he thinks about you, and more often than not it won’t be anything nice. He’s no saint, he’ll cut you with words as easily as he can kick, punch, slash or bite you. Melas could care less about his studies; he’ll blow them off for a match or physical training in a heartbeat. He wants power, to overthrow all that stands in his way.
You and your damn personalities are driving me insane!
Is Phos or Melas getting on your nerves? Try getting him to relax so Damien can regain the reigns.
Who knows what other personalities lie below the surface.....
The inner workings of a mad hound
Demi's Personalities don't get to sit around a round table, drinking ale, arguing and telling waitresses to take their top off give them change. The one in charge gets to run the hall while the other two are locked away, able to see and hear everything, but never to voice their opinion to the one in charge until a shift changes the one in control.
Speak no evil now
They have never been able to talk directly to one another as of yet.
Never.
The last time they had an argument; it was over how their quarters would be decorated.
It went on for four whole months of October, and resulted in the room divided into three halves, different pieces of furniture put together so well, It would make a patchwork cry tears of devious joy. You know, if they could still feel.
Or have tear ducts.
Maybe once an extra head grows in there will be mental piece of mind. Then again, maybe it'll be just the beginning of even more problems.
Heck yea, that great! Well, I don’t like it. I don't remember asking your opinion, so STICK A CORK IN IT!
Simply put, they don’t agree on everything. Metal, wood or porcelain.
Witch's bone soup, Barbecue water lizard leg, or Nightshade pie.
That girls cute, that guys not bad on the eyes, a hole is an 'effin hole. It's difficult for them to come to a consensus.
The green eye of jealousy;
To feel envious of material needs isn't a concern for Demi, its just items. Big whoop. He'd go to the shop and buy it himself if necessary, problem solved. Now having someone to confide in, that'll give his eyes a reason to grow with malice. He craves relationships whether he knows it or not.
Phos on the other hand, would fall in the category of people who would fawn over the item, the one that would ooh and ahh over it and curse their inability to claim it for themselves (even though he really could if he wanted to, hello checkbook) As for the jealousy that rears from non material possessions, its handled much differently, its something that he wants so much, that it hurts. The ache for companionship leaves him crippled, a happy go lucky pup can become sullen and crestfallen within a heartbeat, leaving an excuse so he can depart and to be by himself; to enhance that loneliness, no matter how close his other haves may be.
Melas would take great pride into turning whatever jealous feeling he may have, as a tool against the other, be it material or not. Be careful, or that nice shiny bauble might get thrown into the nearby dead sea without you noticing, and if you did.... well, he couldn't care less.
Shamey shame shame; Oooh you did something wrong; replaced all the gym clothes for the boys locker room with frilly tutu's, stole the mayors hat or broke the mini pets out of the closet portal to let them go on a mass rampage. Worse of all.
You got caught How do you deal with it?
Heh, as if Damien would ever stoop to doing something that is at the level of his more violent persona, but in the off chance that he may have offended someone, you could expect a simple apology.
Eh? Little Phos made you upset? But-but he didn't mean to! OAO He's very sorry, how could he make it up to you, if you start crying, I MIGHT START TO CRY TOO!
Hm? Oh, you thought I let them out of the closet? I wasn't anywhere near that place, I don't care if you got me on camera, that's my story and I’m sticking to it. Denial, denial and more denial.
You going to finish the rest of that eye scream cake?
Across the personality board, his love for sweets shall never die. If you have a cookie, he will devour it and relish every moment of it. It is a weakness, his sweet tooth is so voracious, its not uncommon for him to walk around in the off hours, looking for something sugary to gnaw on.
And normally when he's thinking about sweets, He likes it cold.
The underworld was always a very warm humid place, his ancestors tolerated it quite well and most of them prefer it. NOT HIM. He wasn't born there, lived there or get acclimated to it. "We have a pelt for a reason, and its not so that I can pant from the heat all day long!"
Uwah! What’s that? Why is it that unnatural color? Get it AWAY!
There seems to be an unnatural dislike of the color pink that even all his personalities cant seem to figure out why.
Uh.... I gotta do this with everyone watching? C-can you just skip me for now?
No matter which personality is in control, he's no good in social situations, it is foreign to him, and slightly unnerving. Like standing in front of a classroom on exam day being tardy and in nothing but your boxers, he feels very exposed. Melas and Phos do seem to express their discomfort in other ways, with the former being brash and the latter being meek. But once he opens up, he fiercely loyal and protective to those he connects with. It must be in the watchdog's nature after all.
Wh-where did everyone go? Its so......... quiet.
A clan is normally a close knit community, always there and ready to help one another. But to suddenly no longer have that sense of connection, of belonging. Its pretty unnerving. He may not be great around people, may not say the right thing or know what to do, but it does not mean he wants solitude.
What are ya gonna do, huh tough guy?
Once he finds out what one of your buttons are, hes not afraid of pressing it like an attack button in a fighting game. Its fun to him, seeing the other person get riled up. It makes him feel good to see someone other than himself loose control over their emotions. The method may differ depending on the personality, but it will happen.
~Ugh, natural form? I'm like a were-bull in a china shop.
Seeing as how Damien's natural form is a giant demonic canine, you'd think he'd be more comfortable in it but that's not the case, he prefers to stay in his humanlike form inside Halloween, with the exception of battles in the gymnasium or at Phos and Melas whim and of course, outside of Halloween.
His weakness if very simple; he is his own worse enemy. The three personalities may not see eye to eye...... to eye, most of the time.
Playing head games on a multi-headed beast just may do the trick, and cause some disasters along the way.
Why did they enroll at the academy? Damien was enrolled partly for the knowledge he would gain that wasn't available from the family home schooling, but mostly for the social interaction which he lacked and in turn learn how to cooperate and understand others and maybe himself. He didn't have the extra heads to hold a decent conversation with so why not learn it with his fellow ghouls? His interests in school topics do vary. Mythology was practically beaten into his brain but he also has a personal interest in Shadowcraft, Stealth and Illusionary Artes. By far his worse subject would be Curses, Hexes and Spells, seeing as how magic is not in his forte. it wouldn't be surprising to see him napping or distracted by something else entirely during that class.
Fear:
Natural Ability: Shapeshifting Polycephaly-
He has an animal form, big whoop wanna fight about it? His natural form does have a kink in it, it grows extra heads. Double the pleasure, double the fun, and sets of fangs. So far its one extra heads, but as he progresses, more may sprout.
Fear Ability: Eyes of Death-
Hell hounds are known to be the messengers of death, mostly through their gaze... you look too many times and bad things will happen to you (will only work with the amount of spare heads involved in the attack, the main head does not count). No Fear power is not without its drawback, and the use of the Eyes of Death takes a toll on the user’s defense, the toll may decrease as he gets stronger. As he develops his understanding of his abilities, He will be able to use it more than once.
One pair: will leave the target's mobility impaired.
Two pairs: will distort the targets perception for a brief moment (blinding them basically)
Three pairs: will leave the target immobile for decent amount of time (2 turns, but only for 1 turn if three pairs EoD is used more than once)
