tara moved to Japan from England when he was 14 and joined the school science club, where he made friends with Toshio, Eiko and Soshi. His main strengths in school were in any IT-related subject and sometimes he's able to use his skills in his work with the band. His closest friend is Eiko, who was the first person to be nice to him at school. He's attracted to men and women and pretends to be joking when he's throwing himself at almost anyone he gets close to (so nobody ever takes him seriously and he's still a virgin, although he would never let anyone know).
When he's not travelling with the band, he lives with his parents, but spends so much time at Eiko's house that it's like his second home.
Other than his fellow band members, tara gets along best with Yuki and Hiro because they have a similar sense of humour.
