why do i cut myself or why am i emo.
im actually emo because its just who i am. i'm so used to the darkness and pain that what people call wierd, scary, stupid, retarded, or abnormal is completely normal to me. emo is the way i think and the way i live my life.

I turned Emo to
1. Assert the fact that I'm not girly and never will be
2. Give everyone a reason to hate me instead of just being mad that i exist and
3. because I see the beauty and amazing ness of things others find ugly and boring, such as death, darkness, light, and of course, Fire.
Plus I love the styles the clothes come in whee

Plus I love the styles the clothes come in whee You don't turn emo- emo is who you are. You don't "become emo" because you don't want to "be girly", or because you care what anyone thinks about you. You don't "become emo" because you like the type of clothes. That is what posers do. They "become emo" to conform to a way of life that is not their own. Either you are emo, or you are not. You don't just wake up one day and decide to be.

when people ask me y im "emo" i just say its who i am bcuz ive grown used to the pain and how no1 gives a ******** about me and it doesnt bother me

I'm emo and i have had so much pain in my life its just something i like, and being an artist its to me like expressing myself on my skin

When I get depressed,they ask "whats wrong?" Im not use to it I hate it! When people say "are you okay?" when its clear that Im not.

I hate that too. It's just who I am and I'm just like you. And I do somtimes punch them when they say that.

I also hate the question. It's too hard to explain when you don't even have a legitiment answer to it. Apparently people don't know what "I am because I am." or "Just because" means. stare

People have asked me about my cuts and have made fun of me for them, but I've always denied the fact that I am emo. The reason why I don't have as many friends as I used to is because some kid at school started a rumor (which is true) that I did. But the people who actually know me would never guess that I am, because I dress like everyone else and always put on a smile like theere is actually something worth caring for. I agree that people should mind there own damn business and care about their own shitty lives.
