The Arena is where Campers go to duel and practice sword play. There are straw dummies in Greek armor scattered around the room and training swords. When Quintus becomes the trainer, Mrs. O'Leary - a giant dog - is brought here as well. The Giant Scorpians are kept in crates here. The Coliseum is where the chariot races are held. Horses are found at the stables and the chariots are kept at the cabins so no one can tamper with them.

Damien came down to the arena with his blade fully extended. "I think I'm going to enjoy this" He murmured to himself. Since it was his first time fighting with a long blade he practiced some basic moves. He was surprisingly good at it. The blade seemed to ease through the air without a sound.

He then tried again with it at medium length. Since this is the size he had been using as he had grown up. He was much better at it. It's easier to get up close. It's faster. But it's harder to block or parry blows.

Next he tried it at short length. Short length is good for quick and silent stealth kills. The dummies never knew what hit them.

Amy grabbed entered the arena and noticed someone else. This frustrated her. Training was something more personal to her and,, just like eating, it was awkward to do it publically. Everyone would be watching you and it would be kind of odd.

Instead, she put her head down, regretted not wearing shoes, and began to move toward a more secluded area of training to work on killing dummies.

Damien, saw Amy walk in, but appeared not to notice. "Just typical", he thought. "People always walked away from him, never to him. Nobody ever tried to be nice." The way he saw it, people acted upon their own interests, and he was never high on anyone's list.

His actions didn't betray his feelings. But with every blow, he tried to let out his stress. He had saved those two demigods. The shadows had only gone away because he commanded them. And he didn't think many other people had that ability.

Then a thought occurred to him. Why not command his own shadow. This seemed like a good idea to him. He focused all of his will into controlling the shadow. He let his energy flow through him. But nothing happened. This set Damien off. If he could do it in a rush of adrenaline, he should be able to do it while focused and with no distractions. But then it hit him, maybe he needed that adrenalin to make it work. He would be able to do it without the rush in the future for sure, but maybe emotions carried the energy through to the shadow easier. This time he focused his energy, his will, his anger, his sorrow, everything. And the shadow moved. Just slightly,.But Damien was sure he saw a twitch. He tried again, and this time it was easier. So much easier that it jumped right off the soles of his feet. Damien was overjoyed, but he bottled it up.

He would need it for later.

Caim had finally made it to the Arena. It would seem a match was already about to take place, This Would be a good chance to see what some of these so called demigods could do. This place is just crawling with suckers that would make a great meal for Kitetsu. It's been a while since you've fed on fresh demigod.
Caim Thought to himself as he watched secretly from he shadows with his presence completely masked as if nothing was there.

he fighters didn't seem like much, in fact they would almost seem as if they had no talent at all when compared to Caim himself. He thought as he watched the young contestants.

Damien looked toward Caim and chuckled to himself. Caim was looking far too arrogant for his own good. He walked over. "You do know fighting isn't a spectator sport, right." He said. "If you're here, you should be training. If you don't you should stop enjoying the failures of pathetic weaklings like them" He gestured to the match.

They were fighting so poorly. It was just hack, slash, block, hack, slash... They had no style, no finesse. No appreciation of the fine art which is battle. Damien was in dire need of a good battle. A battle which would challenge him. He hadn't had a challenge in a long time.

Prince of Death

It came to a slight surprise to Caim that this guy could see him while others could not, Perhaps it was in his set of abilities given from his parent. At first caim thought he would simply ignore him, Instead he gave a polite and handsome smile as he turned his head slightly to look into the boys face.
"Perhaps you would car to be my first vict....challenger?" said standing there with his hand stretched out towards the battlefield.

Amy stopped killing her fifteenth dummy and sighed. All they were, were sacks of straw on sticks. They didn't really present much of a fight. She turned to another dummy, crossed her arms in front of her and brought the two blades down with it, and pulled them back out sideways, leaving the dummy sitting on the ground in quarters.

That's sixteen.

The sun was coming up in afternoon heat and Amy was feeling herself sweat easily. Her burns getting irritated by the UV rays made her body heat up more and so she stopped and walked over to a water cooler. She got a drink and started to walk the two in the arena.

She felt like laughing at them, but Amy knew that she had been in that position once upon a time. The worst parts were the ignorance. She didn't know if she was doing anything right or if the weapon she chose was actually what she wanted. The two boys, one from Hermes since his sharp features were instantly noticed, and the other an Ares, with brute strength and bold red colors.

Amy sat down on a spectator bench and removed her armor until she was sitting and sweating in a sporty gray tank-top and jeans with her honey-blond hair pulled into a pony tail. She found fun in calling out encouragements to them, telling the Hermes when do use his ability at being sneaky and when to tell the Ares to start being strategic and stop attacking with only strength.

They smiled, even though they were of different cabins. In a way, she felt like being their trainer. Quintus wasn't around yet, so she found pride in helping them out and being what she never had: a voice to guide her.

The more she helped, the more she felt eyes on her. The burns on her arms and the one string up her neck that thinned out on her chin were red from the salt in the sweat.

Damien shrugged, "if you think you can beat me, you are sure to be a good challenge." He extended his blade to medium length. He then walked down to the platform without waiting for a conformation.

(( Are you talking about me when you say child of Are's?))
[[Not specifically anyone. Just two people that the other two (Damien and Caim) seemed to notice so I worked off it to create something to do. If you want to appear as one, by all means go ahead! :] ]]

Caim always believed that when an issue of challenge was dealt out that there was no purpose of switching location. where they were was a perfectly good location. The area was wide enough, Not very many people around to get in the way, other then this useless girl that likes to shout useless things that warriors didn't care to know. If she got killed he wouldn't much care.

"why do you walk away from me? surely you do not wish to flee?" Caim said as he stood in his same position with his arms folded. Standing straight up he held kitetsu out in front of him, revealing to the boy that he already had his weapon, even though it was still in it's sheath. His voice switched to a colder tone."There is no point to move from such a perfect location, Now ready yourself. He said as he ripped Kitetsu from it's sheath, The finely crafted Katana shined red with Caims energy and then simmered down as Caim pointed to tip of it directly at the back of the boys head.

Damien smiled and thought to himself 'He probably doesn't want to be embarrassed if he gets beaten.' He could understand that. "Uh, no. I'm pretty sure in any fight you have to lay down the terms before you even start a duel." He paused for a few seconds. "Then I guess we shouldn't call this a duel." He quickly sidestepped and turned around. to face Caim. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

Caim gave off a slight smile as he turned his back. suddenly he lost all will to fight this opponent and suddenly headed for the exit. He figured he had more important things to do then waste his time here playing with children
" Perhaps another time. Train and become stronger. Later"Caim said as he Vanished in a shadowy mist and headed back to his cabin
