Post your favourite quotes from the Church leaders both past and present.
I will start with a few of my personal favourites.
*"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is no partisan Church. It is not a sect. It is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the only one today existing in the world that can and does legitimately bear the name of Jesus Christ and His divine authority." -Joseph F. Smith-
*"We do not have to prove the Book of Mormon is true. The book is its own proof. All we need to do is read it and declare it! The Book of Mormon is not on trial---the people of the world, including members of the Church, are on trial as to what they will do with second witness for Christ." -Ezra Taft Benson-
*"Love. Healing. Help. Hope. The power of Christ to counter all troubles in all times---including the end of all times. That is the safe harbour God wants for us in personal or public days of despair. That is the message with which the Book of Mormon begins, and that is the message with which it ends, calling all to "come unto Christ, and be perfected in Him." -Elder Jefferey R. Holland-
I will post more as the thread continues.

"You might ask yourself, 'Do I see the calling of the prophets and apostles as sacred? Do I treat their counsel seriously, or is it a light thing with me?' President Gordon B. Hinckley, for instance, has counseled us to pursue education and vocational training; to avoid pornography as a plague; to respect women; to eliminate consumer debt; to be grateful, smart, clean, true, humble, and prayerful; and to do our best, our very best.
"Do your actions show that you want to know and do what he teaches? Do you actively study his words and the statements of the Brethren? Is this something you hunger and thirst for? If so, you have a sense of the sacredness of the calling of prophets as the witnesses and messengers of the Son of God."
D. Todd Christofferson

"Let it be understood that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the literal kingdom of God in the earth; that neither defectors from within nor enemies from without can stay its progress. It is here to stay and to triumph." -Elder Marion G. Romney-

I heard this quote the other day in Gospel Doctrine, I know it was from a Church leader, it said some thing like... "You can leave the Church, but you can't leave it alone."
I've sat and pondered this for the past couple of days and have come to the conclusion that it is so true, because most, if not all the anti-LDS literature is written by people who have left the Church.

Well I don't belong to an LDS church (so I can't say that I would know a lot of quotes) but here are some quotes that I found online by President Hinckley.Quote: "You have not failed until you quit trying." — Gordon B. Hinckley "If Life Gets Too Hard To Stand, Kneel." — Gordon B. Hinckley "Try a little harder to be a little better." — Gordon B. Hinckley "Generally speaking, the most miserable people I know are those who are obsessed with themselves; the happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others...By and large, I have come to see that if we complain about life, it is because we are thinking only of ourselves." — Gordon B. Hinckley "You can be smart and happy or stupid and miserable. . . it's your choice" — Gordon B. Hinckley

There are countless quotes that I love from the prophets but this is overall my favorite: When life gets hard to stand, Kneel by President Gordon B. Hinkley

I can't remember what Church leader said this, but I heard it in General Conference today, as quoted by Elder Holland (I think?)...Any ways it says: "Surely the gospel of Jesus will comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable."
