I know I'm new here and all, but I thought I might try to make a few helpful suggestions, since the guild seems to be so quiet.

We could:
1. Put a snazzy TF related picture on the Guild home page. Most flesh creatures are easily influenced by pretty things, so let's lure them in with something good. Like this.

2. Start more threads in the main 'Cybertron' part of the guild. Newcomers will be put off and think the guild is dead if we have an empty main forum.

3. Get more members in the guild. We could do this by going on an invitation campaign, having an event in one of the public forums, or putting a banner for the guild in our signatures.

4. Once we've got some more members, we could keep guild activity up with a few word games - a couple of my favorites are Three Word Story and Word Association.

5. Every so often the guild could host competitions.

Ok! I'll use my art banner that I've got in my sig as an example.

1. First, you'll need to make the image you want to use for the banner. Once you've got the image you want to use, shrink and crop it to a manageable size. I find 570 X 130 pixels is a good size. You can also add text to the image in paint too, if you like.

2. Once you're happy with your banner image, save it to your computer.



N.B. For this next part, I've left the first bracket off the codes, so that the forums show it as code and not an image.

3. Next you'll need to upload it to an image hosting site, like Photobucket. Once done, it will give you an image code, which should look something like this -->IMG]http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee317/Rachel_in_the_sky/artbannersmall-1.png[/IMG]



4. Once you have your image code (which will display your image), you'll need to link it to the guild home page. To do this, copy the web address for the guild home page out of the address bar on your browser, then, with your image code selected, click on the URL button, then paste the guild home page adress into the URL box. 5. Although it just looks like a bunch of code, it will give you a banner that will take anyone who clicks on it to the guild home page.

I would like to suggest that a subforum be made to post the tech specs that was on the toys or any other media and would be able to separate them by generation and era.

Posting again because I think we should all meet in zomg to get gold or just hang out in there biggrin , and represent our guild. It might just bring in more members that way too, like meet up everyone once or twice a week.
