I'm curious on what happened or what you saw that first ever got you interested in bara, that one moment that changed your life forever. As for me my first bara experience was some time ago, I was just a lil pup back then around six or so watching 'zoids' for the first time, as the ligars fought in a chaotic dance and the pilots cursed one another out without using a single naughty word I was hooked to it, and when a certain pilot(who's name I sadly forget)came on the screen, that was the first time I ever thought about two things; men and muscles. =P So thats my story, now tell me yours.

For me it was actually Chance from Swat Kats, I always had a thing for the burly cat. Then came Piccolo from DBZ and Machoke/achamp from pokemon.

well, i started watching TV in the late 80's early 90's back then in most cartoons you couldn't throw a stone without hitting a Bara guy of some sort. though I'd say my Bara start came late with the official interest thanks to Gargoyles.

As a kid my Dad ran a furniture removal business from home so I was surrounded by lots of big muscley hairy men in work shorts and boots & smelling all sweaty. I liked them then & I still like a big butch man! wahmbulance

Elessar the bara dragon I am unsure what you are saying. Are asking when bara was introduced to you? When where and what yeah. =P And with the exclusion of Deev it looks like most of us got into it from 80's anime XD

I was looking for a artist that could draw my avi with muscles and Izzy(Halo) was the one that I found. Then he introduced me to Baralover and BaraGumi( crying BaraLover we miss you crying ). And the rest is history.
