I've always had a hard time breathing because of my asthma, but now my medication isn't working all the time. I've talked to my doctor about this, and she only suggested a higher dose, which would be horrible for me seeing as I go into spasims as is with my current dosage.
So I was wondering if any of you had any home remidies or special somethings for the lungs/asthma.
I know I used to carry stones with me. but I haven't found them since I moved.
Any info will be great.

I've heard that caffeine can be really helpful during asthma attacks, but that's the only home remedy I know of.

You may try using eucalyptus oil as a steam or incense. It helps open up breathing passages.

Little Batwing & rmcdra: I would drink coffee if it didn't knock me out. I fall asleep everytime I drink it. But I will try it on my next day off.
Mercy Wild: Hmmm...I'll have to get my hands on some then, thank you.

Ok so I tried the coffee during my one day off this week (Christmas day) I ended up sleeping most of the day, but it did help out with my asthma. I mixed it with my hot chocolate and added a drop of mint extract like I always do, since I don't like the taste of coffee. So thank you. I'm glad that it works for me.
