I have a lot of dumb moments when I'm dueling.
I'm sure some of you guys do too and since they can be pretty amusing, so I thought we could all share them.
For example, earlier today I had no monsters on the field.
My opponent summoned Lord of the D and used Flute of Summoning Dragon to get two Blue Eyes on the field and deal me 7200 damage.
Because I completely forgot I had a trap that would have stopped Flute of Summoning. gonk

Using Pollionsis and tributing Tytannial to negate Black Rose Dragon's effect when I forgot I had Starlight road on the field. Then, he summons another Black Rose and blows everything up a couple of turns later and I still forgot I had Starlight Road face down -_-

Tributing Yubel for X card and thinking it's desroyed, thus activating it's effect. emo
Stuff like that happens way too often.
Although, usually there's someone around who'll slap my hand with a ruler.

forgetting my macro cosmos was on the field as my opponent continued to DMOC OTK me.
realized halfway through and the judge.(who I found out later was the kids brother) Ruled that I ******** up ad he could continue to break the rules because I chose not to activate macro cosmos even though it had been on the field the entire turn and he ******** up because he blew up my planes and survivor instead of my macro and d fissure with his DAD.
I got the judge and the kid booted after because I knew the Head judge, but I still got 8th instead of 3rd.
I miss 3 solemns they made the deck mostly.
Other than that match it was an amazing Light of destruction preview.

My field: Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus, CB Ruby Carbuncle, Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins, crystallized CB Amber Mammoth x2 & CB Topaz Tiger x2.
Opponent plays Heavy Storm.
Brain shuts down entirely, and I let it go through. BRD follows immediately after, followed by greater chain of events that ultimately results in one horribly squashed Wilren.
This is why skipping breakfast and not getting sufficient sleep the night before a big event is a recipe for disaster, kids.

Oh! I have a good one. So i'm down to 300 lifepoints, and my buddy has 2200. I managed to put down a messenger of peace a few turns before he gets his Naturia Bamboo Shoot out. So i have another Messenger Peace in hand, and end up drawing a raging flame sprite. Then thinking i have this duel in the hand, i start chuckling, and decide to be clever and not pay the life points for my messenger of peace [and then play my second one to avoid having to pay the lp cost.]
However naturally when i try to play it my bud casually taps that freaken bamboo shoot.

well i was playing my friend and it was a rly long game and i was not keeping life so i ask hey whats your life i was thinking he said 4000....so i summoned blackwing bora attacked his facedown and drop 3 kalut and said good game....he looked at me like i was rly stupid then i ask whats up he said why would you do that if you knew i had 8000 life sweatdrop

Was at a tournament many moons ago(as in, before Traditional/Advance format). I was playing the top player in the area/head judge's girlfriend. LP Score was something like her 1900 me 3000. On her turn she proceeds to special summon Chaos Emperor Dragon, then normal summon Sangan. When I told her I had no response she declaired game and began to put her cards up. I asked her how it wsa game. She(rather rudely) explained that she was blowing up the field, then fetching Yata-Garasu with Sangan, summoning Yata, and locking me. She continued to put her cards up. I pointed out she already normal summoned that turn. She got rude and started talking about "Well, I'm already going to win, so whatever." I went to the head judge and explained it, and he threatened to DQ me and kick me out for raising a fuss. My next card happened to be Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight. Still ticks me off to this day.
