I feel as if I need a second opinion. When I got my checkup, I told them about my syndromes: cold feet urinating a lot and they took some blood. I was relieved to see that all tests came out normal, but a plisebo came on me, and everything went away. Then, they syndromes came back, and they were worse. Should I get a second opinion?

If you feel uncomfortable you should. Those problems are very common though, and I doubt it was a mess up in your blood work. But again, if you're concerned, get s second opinion. You may as well have peace of mind.

When your feeling those feelings have something with some sugar and see if any of them disappear, if not then perhaps they are being caused by something going on in your life, big part in a play, something making you nervous or excited. Your emotions have say on your physical health, if you remember correctly if your nervous you start to feel queasy or feeling light headed, anything like that to make you not go through with whats causing the feelings. If your not having anything weird like that happen to you then get that second opinion, like LHI said peace of mind. smile

You may have what I have which is insulin resistance. It shows signs of diabetes, but you have to know what you're looking for in the blood work to see it. Go see either the same doctor or a new one and bring up this disorder. If so, it's easily managed with exercise, healthy eating habits and medication. If not, I would ask them to test for other things that have similar symptoms, see what they can come up with.

So, [since I am active] should I get more active? I exercise at least an hour and a half every day.

I was diagnosed with diabetes 11 years ago. It took 4 different doctors to correctly diagnose my symptoms. I would say to definitely get a second or even third opinion. Did they do a fasting glucose test? Did they do an A1C? Ask them what tests they are doing.
A fasting test is when you haven't eaten in at least 8 but preferably 12 hours and they test your blood for glucose.
An A1C is a lab test. It tells them what your average glucose reading has been in the past 3 months.
If they find you are diabetic, ask questions! The more informed you are about it, the better you can control it.
Good luck.

If they didn't give you an answer to your problems....Get a doctor that will.

Colorful Shadows Unoriginal- Is that for me or Blue Eyez? I'm fairly certain she was talking to you. If you had eaten, it could throw off your initial test.

UnoriginalSin1753 Was your blood test done under a fast or had you just eaten? I don't remember the doctors ever telling me that I should fast. So, that could be an issue.
