I was just wondering how everyone felt about this subject. At the moment, I'm busy learning. I own 2 Tarot decks and 1 set of runes, but I'm really not that good yet; I'm too slow because I don't have enough meanings memorized sweatdrop .
**For some more clear definition of the topic (since someone asked):
Divination is the use of tools ("augury or an alleged supernatural agency" from the dictionary.com definition) to find the future. The future found is only as accurate as the reader's interpretation.
Common tools used:
Tarot: a deck of cards (usually 78 ) in which each card posesses a meaning to you. The images are an aid to help you remember those meanings.
Runes: a set of tokens (usually 24 marked and one unmarked), each with its own symbolic meaning.
Scrying: gazing into a surface (any number of things work, including a crystal ball, fire, water, tea leaves, etc.) to see images/symbols to interpret.

Divination by definition is seeking to know the future by connecting to what it popularly know as " the other realm", by runes tarot cards,etc. What many people do not realize is that in so doing such thing that they are indeed connecting with the other realm and the so called spirits or ghosts that you may see or hear are not, I repeat are not what they seem. They are demons, there is no such thing as dead spirits floating around seeking rest. You die you are judged by God, end of story. If you continue in seeking to know your future from these demons consequences will result and you will fall deeper into their clutches. I love to break it to you they do not know the future the only One who does is the one true and Living God. I beg you to heed this warning and stop what you're doing and ask God for forgiveness, He will listen. I'm trying to learn Tarot but I don't have the time right now. Divination runs in my family. To aleast my Great-Grandmother most of the girls in my family know one or more ways of trying to tell the future.
