I would just like to say, congratulations to the Russia that became the new captain of this guild. (Hmmm. I don't post here often, perhaps it will become changed around now that Atlantean is gone?) I hope that, you don't send out as many obnoxious and irrelevant notices as were spammed in the past. And, beyond that. Do as you will. Just don't let things get /too/ out of hand, eh?

I do admit Atlantian was just....annoying. I could understand if he wanted to be more like America, but damn, he took it too far by blocking Yaoi and Yuri? (I don't really care much about either, more into love/hate, crack, and straight pairings.)

As a lurker of the guild, and not a roleplayer, it didn't phase me. I mean, if he wanted a "straight" hetalia guild, then he should have called it that. Instead of "official", which always seems to end up rampant. I'd have been amused to see how many "heterosexual" pairings people could come up with, but considering the ratio of male to female in the character list, it's... well, it's actually not as limited as one might think, when they pair off a female character with every male character. For example, I totally love my own sort of fandom niche of Belgium x Switzerland. Does this mean I can't appreciate a "homosexual" pairing? No, of course not. It just means I might be in the mood for one thing or another, at any particular time.

I guess what I'm saying is, he wasn't out of his mind to attempt to block "yaoi/yuri"; he just went about it in the wrong way. Rather than recruit every sort of Hetalia fan -- most of them, I'm sure, prone to some form of slash pairing rather than straight -- he should have marketed the guild better, perhaps even thought things through before going "hurr, durr imma maek a hetaria guild itll be dee bestesht in de wurld wiff no gayz at all ehl oh ehl."

But my real problem with the man?

The freakin' guild announcements, like, all the time. I'm sorry, I didn't give a crap if he was getting "married" or had found some "pictures" or anything. If I wanted to look in the guild, I WOULD. I didn't need it shoved in my face.

I did get him to announce my RP wedding, well, He did at least do something nice for me, but now...He just gone thinking: "NO GAY PEOPLE, HURR DURR....HETALIA SHOULD BE STRAIGHT, NOT A STOOOPID YAOI FEST! -STARTS BLOCKING EVERY BIT OF YAOI, YURI ETC.-

No offense, but I'm pretty sure he's the kind of guy you want to up and vanish, without a word, so that you don't have to deal with their idiocy.

you have a point, I don't mind seeing one picture of yaoi (only to holding hands, getting close.) but he takes it too far..

Well, showing p***s and sexual situations is against the ToS of Gaia anyway, but to simply flip s**t (which is what I gather he did) over images that... despite being suggestive in nature actually had /nothing/ wrong with them (beyond one of the characters lacking breasts and ovaries), is rather out of line.

But,to each, their own. Life goes on.

→ Pfft. He should have known that with Hetalia would come the lovers of yaoi and yuri. I mean, some of the males in the show already hint out as yaoi... (Sweden and Finland, Germany and Italy... Ect.)

He just couldn't handle the awesome ways of the guilds people talk2hand

I remember when he tried to get me to change my signature because Russia and Japan were getting too close. I mean, gaia hasn't raped me about it yet so it must sit okay with them, so I totally have the rights to have it ._.

User ImageNow we all can get married to each other~!

If anything he should have used his announcement to blatantly say "I don't like yaoi and yuri." rather than being all passive aggressive and deleting material and bashing on members. If he had done that, the message would have been out there sooner and we would have gotten a faster change in management.

Stupid guy he is. I mean if you hate Yaoi/Yuri so much then make a guild without it. He can't ban it because that is discrimination on sexuality. And that is just wrong.
I already have a joint a aspirin...

On the internet, nothing is wrong. Go submerge yourself in the depths of 4chan or ED or somewhere where all the "wrong" just... never even attempts to be "right". If the guy wanted to "discriminate on sexuality", I'd actually prefer he do it in the online world, rather than be one of those arseholes holding up a "God hates Fags" or some sort of misconstrued quote sign -- or him even going a more drastic route, as was used in a time we tend to only associate with jews. <:

I didn't know he was against it when I joined.
He should have indicated that from the start.
Though when he wanted it to be a rule later on. Perhaps instead of fighting him to keep our guild.. we ought to have started a new guild... =__=;

A friend of mine and I actually thought that. Why didn't you guys leave, and make your own? Is it because with the lack of actual human interaction available to you via the internet, that you feel no remorse when getting into "arguments" or heated debates"? Or are you like some people, and just like to see how bad a disaster gets before all s**t breaks loose?

I felt that we had settled in... P__P; ..didn't want to uproot and move.

And it is our guild, we are the members, the crew, even though he was against us as captain.

We decided that if he didn't change the rule we would leave and make a new guild.

I don't see a problem with debates. ^^; The problem is when it becomes trolling. Then that shows that the person doesn't care for the other person behind the device/machine.

I suppose we allowed him to passive aggressively do what he did then and later on.
A sort of laziness people show towards their leadership.
