Hello girls.
So just today, I was at the mall when I had a moment of realization. So my family (my two older brothers and my mother) and I were walking in the mall when we noticed two men holding hands. I, being for same sex marriage, was happy for them. But my family does not feel the same way. They laughed at the two men, saying that love belongs only between a man and a woman. Disgusted, I tried to stand up to them. Since I am the youngest in the family, they ignored me. That was my first moment of realization. I realized that everyone deserves to fall in love, and be loved. Whether it's two men, two women or a man and woman.
Later on that day, we stopped by the mall's pet store to get some christmas stuff for our family cat. I walked by the dog section and happened to glance at an adorable looking golden retriever. He looked at me, and the look in his eyes made me want to break down in tears. His eyes were clouded with depression and sadness. Only then did I see every other animal in that store had the same look in their eyes. Animals do not deserve that kind of treatment. Rethinking my theory from earlier, I added a part.

I am a Christian, and yes I am against same sex marriage, but I will not stop it because they're people too. (I wouldn't have made fun of them like your family did...). Just because I don't approve does not mean I will treat them differently.

- polygamy
- abortion
- communism/ excess socialism

I am for:
freedom of religion and speech
defending our nation and those who can not defend themselves
helping others by whatever means possible
love. I understand that you can't help who you fall in love with, but I still don't believe homosexuality is correct
saving the planet
truth (as in there is only one truth.)
I am against:
the idea that everyone is right and wrong at once, that reality is all up to the person
animal cruelty
open minded close minded people (as in I'm so open minded, I think everyone is right. except for christians. they're wrong.)

Abortion (This is something I would most likely not do myself. But I
believe women should have the right. I have engaged in sooo many
abortion discussions it's ridiculous. Many come to the same conclusion,
but I believe that they have a choice. )
Gay relationships (There have been a few issues regarding this subject. I
believe that people should find love regardless of a relationship. I don't
believe it is right for gay people to push: gay housing, teaching about
being gay in schools, gay children's books, and gay marriage in a church.)
Monogamy
Polygamy (Again, I would not do this myself. But really, if it works for them, why not?)
The right to believe any religion/belief
Equality
Against:
War
Abuse
Close mindedness
Bullying
Racism
Suicide (I believe it's the cowards way out)
Judging a book by it's cover (I have a habit of doing this sometimes, and I
feel terrible for it. But I am trying not to do it, I'm generally accepting of
anyone, regardless of how they look. It's very rare occasions in which I do
this.)

Pushing beliefs on to others, because you believe it is the right path

- whatever religion you feel like believing in (though I am a bit biased for being Christian sweatdrop )
- freedom of speech (seriously. i hate it when you try to say your opinion and people tell you it's stupid. really that is just bull if we have supposed 'freedom of speech.')

- animal cruelty (hate it in every way possible)
- discrimination
- people who push their religion on other people (sure, i understand spreading word of your religion, but some people go completely overboard and won't stop breathing down your neck until you convert.)

- Love: in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Everyone deserves to find and be loved.
- Polygamy. If it works for you, that's great. Some people are capable of loving on that magnitude.
- Abortion.
- Plants and animals. Well...they're just great.
- Religious freedom.
Against:
Not much of anything, really. I'm happy for anyone who's found a way of life that works for them, even if it's not how I would do things.
