This is when zOMG! needs us the most.
I'm sure most of you have heard of the chaos (and if you haven't, there's a link here with the screenshots and more information), and it surprises me a little bit to see we haven't posted anything on it in here anyway. We are the zOMG! Mafia, after all, we should help as best we can, yes?
Here are a few links I've found particularly helpful, and I'd like it if we could make this into an idea thread in which we could share what we've done, what works, what doesn't to increase the user base for zOMG!, or monetize it in some way.

Thanks for informing thats really strange a few months ago the announced the artwork of the new area and now its maybe supposed to shut down...Strange and kinda nightmare before Christmas.

There was a post about a dev meeting that happened yesterday. Showed some pics of a new area, pets possibly being released for a limited time, and other updates to try to earn money for zOMG. JK basically said that zOMG will not go away, but they may stop updating it with new features, if there are not enough funds to support the project.

My man and I are going to support zomg however we're able to. Mostly by purchasing cash shop items that are zomg exclusives and stuff. We don't want to see Gaia throw away one of the most complex and long dreamed of features on this site.

sad zOMG is my favourite feature on the site though and one of the reasons I am still coming here. I still remember the excitement I felt in the months before it was released when I was looking at the previews of the areas and monsters... crying

I'm rather surprised though that they are even having a problem such as this, Gaia seems to be so popular and yet, zOMG!, there best part of the site, can't update itself due to lack of money and popularity!

it's going to be a sad day if gaia stops funding zomg, so I highly recamend that everyone go do some video offers and buy some zomg items

Or do any video ones you see. And as far as I know they still have the cash cards for walmart or something in canada. You should go ask in Q&A see if someone there knows.

Just gotta remember to keep adblock on, and clear cache after you're done with offers. And know that sometimes they won't grant, and unless it's a sizeable chunk, don't even really worry about submitting a ticket, because it becomes a pain. also, I found this in the monthly collectibles billing section of the FAQ, Gaia Online P.O. Box 612680 San Jose, CA 95161-2680 If you wanted to send in monies. I think they only do this for MCs nowadays though, you can access the proper forms through here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/collectiblesBut you could always add in a side note that you're sending the money to support zomg. You should do as many offers that you can that don't require too much information, beware for ones that ask for your CELL phone as they can have hidden fees. Don't download anything unless you google it for information first, and know right off how to restore everything back to what you had it unless you would like to use it. Just some tips sweatdrop
