He brings up valid points in regards to responses to trolling.
My opinion on troll relations?
We (furries) are sort of drama prone, so yeah when it comes to choosing targets we're spot one. But everyone is a target. Mormons seem to be all the rage nowadays. You're not special, so don't think for a moment that they're singling you out.
Furthermore, there's too many folks out there so caught up in defending what they believe is the most pure form of the fandom that they show blatant disregard to the fact that... There's quite a bit of yiff art and fetishism going on out there. You've seen it, and so have they.
Don't deny that it exists, deny that you have a part in it. Trolls really don't give flying feces mind you, and will most likely continue to label you as a zoophile and a general sick b*****d. Your goal isn't to change their opinion, THEIR OPINION DOES NOT MATTER. That's a fact, and I can't state it enough.
Your goal is to make them leave. Dismiss every counter-intuitive, smart a** remark they bring to the table, and remain in a state of passive aggressive. With any luck, you'll still be able to Encyclopedia Dramatica search your name without a horrible monument of misinformation and one-sided arguments paying testament to your character.
Waging a war on trolling is like waging a war on terrorism. You're never going to get anywhere with it, no matter how hard you fight. Furthermore, the fandom in general is so divided into its little sects that it's barely even a fandom. There's strength in unity, that's why 4chan and all the anons can get s**t done.

Th' guy is wearing a hoodie in the dark.... Already a good sign to just skip the video. I'll watch though.
While I don't agree with the whole "make it kid-friendly" thing, as the furry fandom is a medium for any age, and I certainly don't believe the fandom needs a "leader", he does make a few good points. Furries need to chill out and not get so bothered easily. Perhaps people could stop whining over small things and start fights with others? It also helps if the fandom did learn it's molding too. I always see these young or too open furs say "the fandom can't be defined", but then that just lets folks jump in and become NewFurs and spout off lots of gibberish like "it's cool to be turned turned on by my dog" or make up some other fact that is just an opinion. I'm not saying the fandom needs to make ONE single definition, the fandom has grown into too big of a thing to be simplified, but it should have a structured definition with some branches from the furry umbrella explained. If the fandom doesn't make -some- kind of explanation of what it is, we get more gems like this:

I'd go into about the trolling thing, but, Khleo hit the nail on the head. I did LOL at the ED entry part though XD Some folks really do deserve to be listed on there though. *coughAllancouch*.
It's strange, this was the third guy or so I've seen who shows he's not really into the fandom and isn't an auto-hating guy, but the poor guy's gone through more conversations with failing furs then ones who know how to present themselves and explain the fandom well =/ Man, perhaps the furry fandom's motto should be something along the lines of "The fandom is like a tent...able to taken down from the inside"
Too bad we can't have Batman be our PR guy. Dude's the best furry in the world =o
