StephODell D: OH NOSE! HIDE IT SOMEPLACE! A lab/border collie mix doesn't sound like it'd be easy to hide. Tai got for free/found the dog on the street or did Tai buy it? Because if you pay for the dog then why should your mom be angry?

Tai got Sasha for free.
It's a long involved story of abuse directed at a friend of Tai's, abuse direct at Sasha and threats of bodily harm for both so Tai took Sasha to prevent bad things from happening. I'm sure the parental unit will understand once I explain what's going on but Tai is just slightly worried that she'll say Sasha can't stay anyway. confused

Well, the mother knows now... And tried to pawn Sasha off on her friend the second they walked in. neutral
I let it slide, quickly explained what I had to, went shopping and said nothing more till we picked up my brother. I explained the whole story to him, right in front of my mom and her friend, and he's totally on my side about it. He doesn't even really like dogs so the fact that he's backing me up helps a lot.
Mom didn't say anything else so I think she's at least begrudgingly accepting it. It's not like I can't afford to feed Sasha so she really has no argument.
Anyway, we're good for now. I'll try to post pictures of Sasha soon. razz

I have a black lab (maybe... we think she's mixed) and we picked her up off the streets when she was around half a year I believe. She's obviously been abused (dislikes people's hands specifically. Like when we first got her we couldn't pet her or else she'd n** at our hands but if we put them behind our back she'd be fine... and she doesn't like small spaces... like her dogloo..). She's a good doggie and we wuv her.
And I really hope everything with Sasha goes well. :3 If mommy disapproves, kick mom on the streets! whee
