-- Kariko Bar & Grill --
The Kariko Bar And Grill is a nice little place in the main city of Rice Country. Serving everything from the land’s specialty rice wine, to a pleasant evening meal, the bar is a good place for any occasion. Lots of civilians enjoy hanging out there for a drink, meal, or just to have a good time, so the place is never empty, even at the latest hours of the night.
Behind all this however, is the bar’s true purpose. Hidden behind the façade of a typical bar, the building also operates as the Sound Village Mission Center. Informed members of the village come here to get their mission assignments, and sometimes civilians find their way to the bar to request a mission of the village. Hidden in the backroom is a message center, housing many of the village’s trained swallows, which are often sent out to report mission completions to the Otokage, or even summon a villager in to receive an assignment.

 Nomiya YasashiiOtogakure | Crystal | JouninSupport { Ninjutsu } Combo~ Click... Thud. The door of the bar opened and closed as a young man entered, hanging his jacket on the rack by the door. Turning and surveying the room, he smiled, making his way to the bar. It was still early, yet there were already people here, some eating breakfast, some having an early morning drink, and some still here from the night before. All in all, a pleasant atmosphere to start the morning. Walking around the bar, he settled himself onto a stool behind it, taking his place at the center. Would today be the same as yesterday, with nothing interesting happening, or something different? Perhaps a bar fight would break out, or an interesting game of poker from the usual players. He'd heard on his way in that "Konaga Elise" had set out on a trip, so he looked forward to hearing how that went. Perhaps the infamous woman would drop by on her way home. It'd been a while since they'd had a good talk. ~ [Chakra: 146/146]

"Finally we arrive!" Jin would say to Taki as he neared the entrance to their favorite place to eat. It was clear that they had been traveling, the spirit pair moving slowly, sluggishly even. The ground behind them was littered with footprints from their feet, more proof that Taki's steps were much heavier. He wore his straw hat as usual, and his face was mostly covered by a mask that covered up to his eyes. Though Jin's head was protruding from Taki's upper back area, it looked natural because he wore a straw hat as well, making it seem as though Taki had two hats as opposed to one. He pushed open the door, a few eyes turning to see him, but then moving back to their games. He labored to the bar, and tipped his hat to the bartender. He took a seat, it's coolness refreshing against his warm body. "Hey bartender!" an energetic voice would say to him. Clearly it was Jin's, but since his face was covered most would just assume it was how Taki spoke. The bartender would know different. "I'll have the usual." Jin said. Taki nodded his head in agreement. The usual consisted of nothing more than a bottle of Sake and some ginger ale.

Nomiya YasashiiOtogakure | Crystal | JouninSupport { Ninjutsu } Combo~ Yasa sighed, looking up from something or other he'd been messing with on the counter as he heard a rather familiar sound. His least favorite duo had returned to bother him again. Oh, it was nothing against them personally. He just didn't like their 'special ability'. It just screamed exposure to him, especially when the two pulled something like this, with the hidden one doing the talking. He had no idea how nobody had noticed that yet. "Good morning Jin." He said, turning only slightly and snagging the two bottles desired from the counter with one hand, and setting them before the combined duo. One would notice an oddity there though, as it was clearly afternoon, and he spoke to the hidden face rather than the visible one. The timing nobody could explain, but the speech was quite simple. Yasa had long since taken to referring to the duo by the name of the first that spoke.It just made things easier in the event that someone else actually recognized their voices. He really did swear that someone was going to notice them eventually though, thanks to the pause between what was said, and any accompanying actions. It wasn't much, but it was there. "And how is Taki?" He added in, dropping two glasses before them as well. It wouldn't be taken as strange, thanks to the different drinks, some people ordered two different drinks and wanted separate cups. Though he was never sure how they intended to both drink in public at once, without separating. ~ [Chakra: 146/146]

Jin would continue to talk, seeing as how Taki had nearly became regarded as a mute since he rarely spoke, by saying: "Taki is well. He is quiet as ever, and just like always keeps telling me to shut up." Taki tilted his head, looking directly at Yasa and shrugging for his brother when he made a remark about Taki being fine. Most would see this as the man making movements to mirror his words, but it was Taki's way of apologizing for the risk Jin made by speaking. Taki also placed a straw into both glasses. He then took his glass, pulling his mask down below his nose, but suddenly stopped and turned around, his back to the counter. Jin's hat, large enough to cover Yasa's view as well as anyone from the side, as he took a short sip from the straw. Taki watched a couple who had entered the bar for a second, and then turned back. It was the first time Yasa would see this seeing as how the two normally left with both drinks in Taki's hands. But in fact the timing of the entrance was the perfect cover. Taki sat his drink down, having taken a sip when he turned, and then put his now exposed lips to the straw. He pretended to drink, and then replaced his mask. "As good as ever, they both are," Jin said Taki nodding in agreement and in symbiosis with his brother's speech. He would then down the rest of his drink. "Well, I am off to the dojo Yasa," Jin would speak as the Taki stood grabbing Jin's drink and, rolling his eyes in annoyance with the ever talkative Jin secretly, would turning away. He had also left a tip, and paid for the drinks when he stood up, using the money he recieved while traveling recently as his barter. He turned down an alley to shorten his trip, and give Jin a chance to finish off his drink as well before they continued.

As they walked, the masked figure said not a single word as he journeyed through the village streets. Kay stopped as they arrived at their location, and looked at his disciple. "One last thing. What I have showed you, never happened. You know nothing unless I say you do. GO along with whatever I say, because more than likely the bartender will understand. We are simple rice farmers, and I am also a blacksmith. In both practices, you are my apprentice and eventual successor. That is your facade. Embrace this lie." As he finished the short speech, he held open the bar door and waited for the youthful one to get in through the door. He would sit in his normal spot as his feet tap against the ground. Eyeing Nomiya again for the first time in a few hours, Taki would be more comfortable with his brother hidden by the transformation jutsu. Only another ninja could tell the difference. Imitating his brother's more lively tone, he spoke. "Hello bartender. I wish for you to meet my new apprentice. His name is Tensa Zangetsu. Arrogant name if you ask me, But he's going to be a great smith, and a great farmer if I have anything to do with it." He picked up a menu and wrote down his order on a sheet of paper. Chicken ramen and spicy yakisoba noodles for himself. It was the most basic meal he could think of. But it was simply to replenish the youth's strength and get him back to training faster. "Any special dishes?" he asked the man. This was his typical way of asking if their were any missions available without giving away a lot. If their were any, than the man would typically give a nod, and then show him a "special" menu. That is how he selected his missions from Nomiya at the bar. He was comfortable in his stool, leaning over the bar and looking at the tender from beneath his long greyish hair.

He also didn't say anything during the entire walk there. He heard his instructions and nodded. Tenza glanced at Yasashii. " Oh look it's my uncle... I was wondering where he was..." Tenza muttered as he sat down beside Taki. " I'll have what ever he's having..." Tenza then said as he sighed. He wasn't really hungry... He was only there cause it was free... As far as he knew.

The absence of his second half instantly noted, though he felt a disturbance. He must be hiding or something. When he began to introduce someone, the young man quickly suppressed the urge to break out laughing, signaling his nephew to stay quiet with a quick handsign just out of the new teacher's sight. He was going to have fun with this one. Nodding to Taki he took the order, marking a 2 on it and handing it to a passing assistant a mere instant later as the worker headed into the kitchen. From there, it would be handed off to the cooks and so on and so forth. From there, he turned to his nephew and smiled. "Nice to meet you Tensa. I am Nomiya Yasashii, owner and operator of this fine little shop." He introduced himself with a light bow. Looking back to Taki, he let a slight frown cross his face. "We don't have anything really special right now." He said with a shrug, before seeming to perk up a bit. "Konaga-san is off on a trip though, so I'm expecting trade to pick up soon. Maybe we'll get in some new ingredients from that." He said with a smile. Trade was something the whole country had been looking forward to, and apparently it was time to start pushing forward on it. Looking off to the side, his eyes fixed on a group of farmers in the corner for a few seconds, before he turned back to Taki. "I've heard that some of the farms are having a hard time lately getting all their crops in. If trade's starting up soon, they're going to need some help. It's not much, but think you could have your new apprentice do some field work? Good way to introduce him to the trade." He said, letting a serious look cross his face throughout. Just as he'd finished talking, a waiter walked by, setting the two's meals on the counter in front of them, bidding them a good meal, and heading back to the kitchen. ~ [Chakra: 146/146]Rank: D Mission: Help out in the fields. Glancing over to the group of farmers as well, He nodded and looked down to Tensa. He began to pull down his mask, and a fly would buzz right in Tensa's face, threatening to impact his eye. In the second it would take Tensa to swat away the fly, Kay would have speedily ate his meal and left an assistant in the bar with a red face. Apparently, he hated for people to see it, and she had been lucky number one for she had seen it. Or had she? Maybe she was under the effects of a genjutsu? Regardless Taki waited for his student while counting out his money. He left Nomiya a sizeable tip and began to speak. "Well, you heard the tender, maybe we should go out to the fields. It could be some good experience for you," he explained.
When Tensa finally finished, Kay would leave a bit more money and have the assistant from before hand him a bottle of sake. He slid it into his nearly bottomless pocket, and tapped his student's shoulder. "We are going to the flatlands first. From there we will work around Kariko until we end up back here again. Off we go!" he said speedily walking towards the flatlands, which would be about two days from them, but with ninja speed that would be halved, or more.

{ Yeah, only going to say this once. Don't control NPCs in my bar! I may eventually name a few and grow some personality on them. They're all mine, so I'd rather not have people randomly messing with them on me. It's fine to use them to get yourself a meal or drink or something, but don't outright control them like that. }

Tenza smiled at Yasashii and bowed. " Nice to meet you to Yasashii-san." Her told his uncle, catching his signal, as the fly headed toward his face he swung his hand at it making it fly away from him and his food. He ate what ever was brought for him and looked at Taki. " Alright then sir." He said plainly as he got up and followed Taki.
(( Bleh I don't konw... Nothing more I felt like adding >.< ))

Shin made his way to the bar staying in the shadow of the tall building he passed, looking at the bar it seemed normal enough but for some reason he felt like it was more important than it looked. Before entering Shin lifted up his right pant leg and unraveled the baby Viper from his ankle looking at it saying "Wait out here, I'll look for you when I am done inside ok?" It was almost like the snake understood English after shin spoke it slithered out of his hand moving into the a ally coiling up by some dumpsters.
Leaving the snake outside Shin walked inside and looked around, he saw several villagers eating and drinking, being so surrounded he felt like he needed to find a place were he could stay out of site. He made his way to the far end of the bar counter. He took a seat were there were only a few people around him. Waiting a few minutes he was approached by a waiter they polity asked what he would like. Shin smiled saying " I need speak with a Yasha, there isn't any rush tho, just let him know I would like to speak with him when he gets a free moment. The waiter smiled and left Shin to either tell Yasha or serve other customers, which Shin wasn't sure so he waited patiently in his seat and tried remembering anything he could.

So long as he's here, and has been alone here for any length of time, I can start him out wherever I want! }, found himself intercepted by one of his employees, who gestured to a young man seated alone at the end of the bar. Nodding to the man, he walked over to the boy, and smiled. "I hear you're looking for me? I am Yasashii. So, what do you need?" He asked, honestly curious as to why someone he didn't recognize was looking for him. That usually only happened if it was a contact from someplace, or someone who'd come along after the rumors of an active village in the area. Which would this be then? ~ [Chakra: 146/146]
