I haven't been on gaia in sooo long...mostly because I got fed up with gaia's greedy ways...regardless. Hello everyone!~ Let's get down to it.
Isn't the new Twilight movie coming out soon...? I don't know I haven't kept myself updated....but if so....is it just me or has things finally died down? The craze that is.

I think the last movie- which they're doing in 2 parts, I belive- is coming out either this month or next month, but I'm not too sure.
I don't think the madness has died down, unfortunately. Maybe the calm before the storm- just wait 'til the movie comes out. >.<

Actually I noticed the "waves" have become less intense. If you look at the obsession over the first movie in comparison to Eclipse it seems like it's beginning to fad out.

I think it is dying down.
I have two friends who used to be into Twilight and now they're over it, they've realized how dumb it is.

I think it's been dying out, I haven't seen a single Twilight book or related merchandise in forever. There'll probably be a fan craze for the last two movies but I'm sure it'll calm down once they're over with.

I think we can still argue about it even after it's over... the fandom won't die that fast, these pests are rather resilient...
I'm really mad that they're splitting the last movie into two parts... there's absolutely no point other than earning more money and to outdo Harry Potter... the 7th Harry Potter movie actually NEEDS to be two movies because of the length and the thick, detailed content. Already there's no way they can put Breaking Dawn into one movie, let alone two, because of how mature and downright gory the content is. I really think they're just doing this (other than for money) to release another Twilight movie after Harry Potter is out to have the last word. This is the ultimate insult, and I won't let it stand without having my say.

While it is stupid to split it, there's no way they're going to "outdo" Harry Potter. Potter fans far outnumber Twatlight fans and the frenzy over the last two movies is incomparable.

I'm not a huge fan of Harry Potter, but even I am offended that the silly Twilight people are out to out do the series. It's insulting to the fans and good story telling.

Yeah, the people I know who like Twilight are a lot less fanatic about it and I haven't really met any super crazy fans as of late. :/
But I think the vampire trend is rising. I see a loot more girls with those metal vampire teeth necklaces now a days.
